Great truck stop fantastic food. New showers brilliant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stopped for the fast charger but blown away by all the facilities. Excellent coffee, storming breakfasts and lovely friendly staff.

A very large park, very well lit. Good toilet facilities, a bar and a shop with truck supplies. I recommend it.

This is far preferable to the M4 service station. Good food, shop, and rest stop.

Chippenham pit stop / truck stop is sign posted and is located just off of Junction 17 of the M4, Lots of parking for HGV's and offering overnight parking... EV charging points are also offered.. Facilities include W/c ( regularly cleaned), shop, outside laundrette and a great cafe serving food...

Not a bad place to stay overnight in a HGV fairly quiet with security very good toilets and showers shop is very expensive

I found this place back in 2009 when working locally. It has become a regular meeting place ever since. The food is top quality, the prices are reasonable, the staff are amazing and if you book the meeting room it includes the cost of parking (first 2 hours are free). As it’s a Truck Stop the showers and toilets are immensely clean and tidy and the shop has almost everything you would need in an emergency including some excellent prices on snacks and drinks.

A great spot if you're a HGV driver looking for somewhere to stop for the night with plenty of facilities and parking available and the food is amazing!

Brilliant place, great selection of food and really friendly staff. Got some great warm clothes and charged my car and washed my clothes at the same time. Very satisfying. No petrol there though, only diesel.

Nice hot showers and adequate parking space. Didn't try food but I've heard it is decent. Secure parking.

It’s one if not the best truck stop in the country. Well stocked shop with everything you need for driving trucks. Also open to the general public. Clean toilets and showers. Cafe with proper grub. Electric car chargers. Just fantastic. Junction 17 M4.

Chips with an all day breakfast is a no no andno hash browns no tomatoes no mushrooms no toast how is that a breakfast and charging 9 pound for this i would not go to this again rubbish

Stayed for the night, Snap is not bad, but they don’t give you a voucher for food, although last time they did!

Mint place always find room at the inn for you the lad and young lass in the shop are great too! Stayed there a few times now amd always spot on, showers are always clean and good 👍

This is our regular breakfast stop on trips between Somerset and Berkshire. Bacon baps, tea and a bone for the dog. Our cockapoo knows as soon as we pull up, where he is. Staff always friendly, food always spot on.

Everything very OK! From very kind staff, breakfast, impeccable cleanliness, toilets, showers, very nice little shop, you can find everything a driver needs. £30 parking + shower gave me £5 off, so £25. I will definitely come back!

Viable alternative to total lack of good charge points at Eastbound M4 Services..... but as a result there was a queue! .....and two charge points were out of action.

Stopped for coffee break on the way home. A great place to visit much better than a motorway services and only half a mile off the motorway! Loads of EV charging as well that we used.

I was at this parking lot a year ago and it seemed very friendly to drivers. I took a 9-hour break and went. I'm coming back here after a year and want to stay for a weekend. And what turns out? SNAP payment £24 per day and only the toilet is free. You have to pay extra for a shower. So I went to the Reading website and it's all here. A voucher for £30 and free, clean showers to choose from, not to mention the scented toilets. Even if the employer is greedy and only pays for the parking lot, the owner of the parking lot should allow you to use the shower for free during these three days of the weekend. However, it is clear that only money matters and they don't care about drivers. I know that the owner reads these opinions, so I wish him to spend one weekend in the car and have to pay extra to wash it. Then he will know what I am writing about. I originally put one star, but I have to add another because it was a very wise decision regarding the cold storage. The parking lot is there to rest, and the howling cold doesn't allow that. Disturbing the peace and quiet at night should be prohibited in all parking lots. And to Sylwester N., who was raving about turning off his wife's refrigerator at night, I want to say that if he is so brave, let him turn on a buzzer next to his wife's bed that makes sounds above 65 decibels and say sweetly in her ear: sleep and rest peacefully Honey.

well over priced and the showers are clean but don't get you wet gets all your clothes wet instead need to sort the shower heads out for 3 pound 50p 8 mins not great most other truckstops the showers are free

Lovely truckstop good food if you like eating out of a bowl maybe I’m just old fashioned but a plate works better for presentation than all thrown on top of each other in a bowl. Great shop well stocked up clean toilets and showers

The staff in the shower room are terrible, if only the Romanian Poles and others verbez weren't pigs and cleaned up after themselves what they piss in the bowl. Today again 31.10 2017 and I'm satisfied, there's peace and quiet, it's just like home :-) Visited again today 11/26/24 after years. They are getting better here.

During a rather stressful evening phoned to see if there were any spaces, the lady on the phone was lovely friendly & very helpful, I arrived later & booked in they were lovely, didn't use the restaurant however did use the showers following morning, what a brilliant place thank you, it made the end of a stressful day so much better, ps it was lovely & quiet also very clean, thanks so much

Little gem I found with super fast chargers and great coffee.

Stopped off for a quick coffee and ended up staying for fab breakfast. I was really impressed with this small but very adequate little service station. A laundrette, a very well maintained washroom, a small convenience shop, and a wonderful cafe serving freshly cooked meals and serving excellent coffee. Set us up for our journey back home to Kent.

Tightly. The company "Forest Jenkinson" takes up most of the space. But actually SNAP and a good chance of getting a place. A VERY well-equipped shop. You will buy anything. Toilets and shower. Quiet and peaceful.

Great truck stop with excellent food

The parking lot is a bit tight, but the toilets and showers are very clean and the staff is very friendly and smiling. The bedside toilet was also very clean, which is rare in the UK. Minus for the regulations requiring the refrigerator to be turned off during the night curfew. There should be separate places for drivers with refrigerators on.

Very nice parking place, with showers, market, washing machines. The only thing I didn't find was a water source, but the rest was just fine

Stopped in for a bite after coming off the motorway... really friendly and clean! Really yummy food 4 of us ate 2 breakfasts, 1 ham egg an chips... and 1 beautifully cooked fish and chips.. the fish was soooo nice..... well stocked shop toilets shower etc... excellent

I met up with my daughter for breakfast and we both had an excellent meal The food was cooked to perfection and well presented also the service was friendly and efficient I will definitely return for another visit

Good truck stop, showers and toilets very clean. My only problem is after mentioning a few months ago that the women get 8 minutes for £3.50 in the shower and the men get 10, they have since reduced the mens to 7 minutes! For the same price! My husband was not pleased ....

Wow what a brilliant pitstop. Needed a coffee and the rest room after collecting something from the local auction house. I’ve never seen such clean, well designed facilities, even at the major service stops. Great staff, really friendly and helpful, cafe and bar all in one just off the main shop. Felt very continental, reminded me of road trips in Ireland. Recommend going out of your way for this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ establishment

Just a couple of minutes off the M4. It’s a truck stop with a restaurant and great food. Well worth the small detour to get something other than motorway cafe “food”.

We stopped here to use the cafe. Staff were friendly. We both had the breakfast and it came to £29. The chips were undercooked, the eggs were swimming in grease and the beans were cold. A cheap piece of thin, white bread doused in marge, not even toasted. Disappointing and won't return.

I arrived at the paid parking lot with the expectation that they would give me a voucher for food, but nothing works, without a restaurant. So it's just parking.

Found by accident coming off the motorway. Great selection of sandwiches and drinks, very friendly staff, fresh coffee and doesn't break the bank like the big service stations.

Raw eggs and bacon. Sent the eggs back as they had uncooked whites on. To have them sent back cooked to a crisp… will not be back

Great rest stop and although geared for commercial drivers cars and small vans welcome,, not signposted very well which means never crowded

Busy Truck Stop, great facilities.

Every now and then a little gem drops into your lap... today was one of those days. We are travelling in the caravan and staying in Malmesbury, looking for a launderette. Rare as hens teeth, a fellow camper mentioned that they had them at the "truck stop". We checked it out and sure enough, 2 washers and a drier plus a well stocked little supermarket and cafe. What impressed us was the lady's attitude "sorry love the cafe is closed but if you're desperate I will make you a coffee. " We've just finished the wash visit and had a delicious full English breakfast complete with excellent coffee and super friendly service Great place if you're local and worth coming off the motorway for. 5* all day long.

Chippenham pit stop is my half way meeting point and I pop in nearly every week as the food is cooked fresh and is delicious. Toilets are very clean. The shop is very well stocked where you can buy everything but the kitchen sink. Have to say though, the highlight is the new girl Kelly, she is so friendly and goes out of her way to locate something or give the best customer service. She is a credit to C.P.S.

Brilliant little discovery. Found after a google search for electric car charging as the ones on the main services on the motorway were occupied and slow charge. Great facilities here and far less commercial than the main services.

Excellent truck stop. One of the best in the country. Showers and toilets are clean. The shop has everything you need. The food is amazing, breakfast is the best though. Staff are friendly and helpful if you need to know something.

Went for a so called all day breakfast. No tomatoes no fried bread Mushrooms you have to pay extra Huge chips in stead of ash browns It was more like an evening meal Chips egg sausage and beans with 2 bacon chucked in To make it a breakfast If I wanted an evening meal. I would of asked for one Beans are a really small portion. Sausages are chipolata’s really skinny You get 3 But one was smaller than my little finger And a sausage sandwich. Well Same sausages. 3. A quarter of the sandwich is empty Not impressed. Too over priced for what you get. Won’t be going there again

Stopped here today to charge the car and have some lunch. EV chargers are really fast. The food was great and reasonably priced (family of four). The staff were friendly and really welcoming. The toilets were very clean as well. I'm used to getting toilets at services like the one in Trainspotting, so this was a nice change. Will definitely use again in the future and recommend that others do too.

30.5.24 Recently returned to Chippenham and WOW food amazing , staff so friendly and very helpful would recommend . The staff in the shop extremely helpful, young man that seems to know everything (Parking, security etc), I asked about certain crisps they sell, only a couple of packs left on shelf, he went and found more for me, sooooo greatful to him . Top man, found out his name is Oscar so thank you Oscar, great asset to Pit Stop(Started tucking into these in the lorry) Seats getting a bit wobbly in the restaurant area, improve seating and you've nailed it Pit Stop. 30.8.24 Seating still needs be addressed (especially around the window area)not comfortable, very hard, need more comfortable seating.

Just visited the pit stop shop and the staff was so helpful and polite. Will be stopping everytime I pass. The girl was especially help
