Cerbul Carpatin in Watford

I am coming to this Romanian restaurant for the first time, when I entered I saw that there was not even one occupied table, I asked if I could take a seat at any table, and the lady standing at the entrance directed me to a table for two people, I took a seat, I felt claustrophobic, there wasn't even room for the necessary things on the table, after serving the 1st course, another couple entered the restaurant, they were seated at a larger table for 4 people, not being a problem here, when the 2nd course arrived I maintained to the waiter that that table is much too small and there is no room for both the food and the salad, he didn't even take me into account, and for the napkins or salt I had to I lie down at the next table. My partner ordered a Grilled Mix. With Beef, chicken meat and chicken meat, chicken meat and beef were catastrophic. The pork was ok but mostly raw. What was good was the salad :) at the end of the bill you wake up with a service charge that you are obliged to pay, my partner doesn't like not having the option when it comes to the service charge, you pay it if you felt good and the food was as good as the staff. (I packed the remaining food for the puppies). In addition, you have to pay VAT in addition to the price of the food that is already displayed on the menu, you expect an amount and at the end you get something completely different. In my life I will definitely not set foot in this restaurant, I recommend you to look for another restaurant. Romanians will remain Romanians, greedy.

Nu cred ca am mai vazut asa restaurant in afara tarii . Interiorul muzeu in toata regula . Portii mega , mancarea super gustoasa , mai ales ciorba . Platourile casei ? nu mai vezi nici in restaurantele din Bucuresti . Felicitari

Was overcharged for things we didn’t take it, like more waters, more portion of potatoes. couldn’t pay with card apparently was only bank transfer which confused us more. The restaurant was booked for a christening so we were left very neglected.. definitely not going back there are more Romanian shops to visit.

In afara . In relief. Nevasta-mea si-a agatat hainele in ele,fetita sa zgariat la degete. Doar pentru motivul asta,health and safety ar trebui sa va inchida locatia. Iesirea de urgenta din subsol... ma rog,ce ar trebuii sa fie... Aeraj... La vizita noastra,aveati doar un singur chelner care se ocupa de subsol,la vre-o 25 de persoane. Era cu limba scoasa saracul. Patroane,e secolul 21. E Anglia. E health and safety pentru mine care-s acolo si pentru ala care-ti munceste...

Absolut divin! Decorul foarte frumos si autentic, mancarea a fost foarte delicioasa. Am mancat o ciorbita de burta care m-a uns pe suflet! Exact ca la mama acasa. Recomand cu caldura! Mii de multumiri!

Sorry to say , but Romania is not all about hunting guns and dead animalson the wall . Also disturbing to watch , how you put piglets that are probably weeks old and you cook them , repulsive and eye disturbing . Nothing to do or represent Romania . Think twice on how you represent if you want other people , not just romanian people to visit this place , especialy this days .

Din pacate foarte dezamagita de mancare. Am comandat o portie de tochitura , sotul ficatei de pasara iar pt copil o corbita radauteana. Mancarea reincalzita a 10 mia oara bucatile de carne care reci care calde , iar farfuria sotului ii plutea uleiul deasupra pe ficatei si in mamaliga,iar copilul mi a vomat toata seara. Am sunat la azi la ei si mi a raspuns o doamna, zicandu mi cu cateva cuvinte ca noi parinti am foi devina pt ca am comandat ciorba pt copil fiind foarte grasa si ca contine multe oua.nu am avut cu cine discuta si in opinia dumneaei totul a fost ok. Ps :bilul a fost de 84£ Pt ce am platit acesti bani? Pt o indigestie la copil si am plecat tot flamanzi Nu recomand 😔

Very disappointed with the service, had to wait for a simple bowl of soup for more than 45 minutes! No explanation or anything, just left us waiting there for ages. Absolutely ridiculous... Not even mentioning that when soup came it was ice cold. Waiting for almost an hour and than you get a frozen bowl of soup.Must say they are quick enough to include a srvice charge in the bill, when it felt that we were forgotten customers and no one cared about us. Absolutely disgraceful! So so disappointed with this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We went there because friends recommend the restaurant, once we stepped in, we were shocked with that what we see, lots of decorations hanging on the walls and from the ceiling, heads of the animals plus the smell was not the best... food was not that bad, we ordered goulash, eggplant salad, chicken breast with mushroom sauce - none of these dishes made us 'wow' reaction.. only the dessert was delicious, but not phenomenal, just regular stuffed donut with berries sauce.. yup, it was OK, but I don't think we will be coming back. It was nice when we got shots of romanian alcohol - palinka.

Excellent food, decent portions and honest prices!

We got sick after eating lunch there. We had fried carp with polenta and garlic and fish roe salad. It was the only food we had the entire day. We think it was the carp which they said it was the last two pieces of carp they had available. It didn’t look like fresh carp when they served it. The roe fish salad was ok but while eating it I found myself with a piece of sharp plastic in my mouth. Lucky I didn’t swallow it. I also called the restaurant the next day but they weren’t very receptive to my issue.

Personalul foarte incompetent, am stat mai mult de 1 oră până să vină niste mici, coaste si cartofi prăjiți. Când a venit comanda, Era greșită, noi am verificat ce era, ospătarul era pe altă planetă. Per total, totul făcut la repezeală. Mâncarea a fost de calitate medie.
