The best Romanian restaurant in the UK. We frequently come from Milton Keynes and the food is always of exceptional quality. Always generous portions and in all the years the quality has remained at the same high level. This time I tried the Dubai pancakes, delicious! I invite my wife to celebrate 25 years from our wedding at this restaurant. I call in the morning and make a reservation. Don't need as restaurant was 99% empty but the lady on the phone say is busy and at basement is party ( she lie - no party). When arrive at restaurant nobody was there to place us at our reserved table. After a few minutes come a guy and we understand he is waiter and is only this guy in all restaurant who manage everithing. We order what we want and we was served pretty fast because only one more table with customers in all restaurant. During the time when eating some ppl. come inside but they don't know to close the door and all cold air come inside. Out was 11°. Door have a device to close the door automatically but was defect and is not defect from today... as we was 2 months ago and was in same condition. Food was ok except pickles who was from turkey product not Romanian. Big surprise come when ask for bill. It was an advertise where is state CASH ONLY.... In the spring I was with some friends and was same adverise and waiter told as the network not work to pay by card. We say ok... It happen. 2 month ago when I was with my wife to take lunch, same in a Sunday, waiter told us as POS is at a festival where the restaurant offer catering. As I know each company must have at least 2 POS. Today same situation... can not pay with card. Clear this restaurant don't record all transaction and this is illegal. HMRC know this....?? Another big surprise when see the bill At the end was added: SERVICE CHARGE 10%.... This is absolute disgusting to ask for TIPS !!! It have to be my decision if I want to let TIP or not and I have to go chose how much I want to let. Is first time in my life when I see this... a waiter to ASK for TIPS and to put on the bill abusive without my permission.!!!!..... I'm from Romania and I want to spent a nice evening with my wife in a Romanian restaurant but apart from food, except pickles, atmosphere was a disaster and the fact to ask for TIPS and only pay cash, piss me off. Definitely I will avoid this restaurant where quality is go down and owner practice illegal transactions. I recommend ppl to avoid this place...

Very disappointing that they changed the goulash recipe and it is no longer anything special. And the fact that they cooked octopus on the same grill as the little ones and the taste was contaminated... The names of certain dishes on the menu are very funny!

Avoid, f high prices, in the belly soup the belly was too big, the sheep pastrami with mamaliguta was extremely salty, we couldn't eat it, plus f fatty and tough meat, it couldn't be chewed.

Pay close attention to the final grade! The first and last time we come to this restaurant. The note was corrected after I noticed the "accidentally added" mistakes! Different prices compared to the menu on the bill. Your order is taken 40 minutes after you are seated, I recommend avoiding it.

I was invited to this restaurant by my friends. Apart from really good food and music I must say that the staff did a great job. They were very busy, but they served the food appropriately, balancing beetwen the dancing guests with great grace and care.If you are looking for traditional food and atmosphere, I highly recommend this place.

The most rotten food... And without any merit. In addition, if your order costs 40 pounds, they add 5 pounds and 8 pounds in fees respectively!! Unacceptable, now I understand why it was so empty! I do not recommend !!!!

I am coming to this Romanian restaurant for the first time, when I entered I saw that there was not even one occupied table, I asked if I could take a seat at any table, and the lady standing at the entrance directed me to a table for two people, I took a seat, I felt claustrophobic, there wasn't even room for the necessary things on the table, after serving the 1st course, another couple entered the restaurant, they were seated at a larger table for 4 people, here not being a problem, when the 2nd course arrived I maintained to the waiter that that table is much too small and there is no room for both the food and the salad, he didn't even take me into account, and for the napkins or salt I had to I lie down at the next table. My partner ordered a Grilled Mix. With Beef, chicken meat and chicken meat, chicken meat and beef were catastrophic. The pork was ok but mostly raw. What was good was the salad :) at the end of the bill you wake up with a service charge that you are obliged to pay, my partner doesn't like not having the option when it comes to the service charge, you pay it if you felt good and the food was as good as the staff. (I packed the remaining food for the puppies). In addition, you have to pay VAT in addition to the price of the food which is already displayed on the menu, you expect an amount and at the end you get something completely different. In my life I will definitely not set foot in this restaurant, I recommend you to look for another restaurant. Romanians will remain Romanians, greedy.

The food is always excellet, however I can't say the same about the delivery. One of the soup was spilled in the bag.

Was overcharged for things we didn’t take it, like more waters, more portion of potatoes. couldn’t pay with card apparently was only bank transfer which confused us more. The restaurant was booked for a christening so we were left very neglected.. definitely not going back there are more Romanian shops to visit.
