Nandos can be hit and miss but this one tends to deliver well each time. Food good, staff pleasant and helpful

I had click and collect. It was very quick and easy. Food was ready before it was due, And they packed it in front of me to make sure all the chicken and extras were how I like them. Chicken wings could have done with a little extra sauce. But I was given extra packets on the side as well.

Best service I’ve ever had at a Nando’s. It’s never been bad, but the guys working there were exceptional. Special shout out to Nasha who took care of my son who has Crones when I double checked that the ice cream was vegan, and when we realised it wasn’t she got him a mango sorbet so he wouldn’t miss out. Can’t say nice enough things about her, as well as the rest of the team there who all seemed really happy in their work.

Nasha was absolutely amazing, I've been to Nandoes a number of times, and have never received such amazing service. Funny, charismatic and put a smile on me and my partners face. Will most definitely be back.

I was served by quite possibly the best in the business , Noor Butt , absolutely fantastic customer service she was brilliant with my kids made sure our meal and the night overall was an occasion!!! Could not recommend her enough , thank you Noor !!!!

Great Nandos - we only visit once a year when we go to NFL Wembley, but the place is always welcoming with friendly & helpful staff.

This place is absolutely atrocious. I brought my family here the other week and I was completely embarrassed. Staff are cursing at each other, they were completely unprofessional. The chicken wasn’t grilled properly. Smaller portions, longer waiting times. Nandos is dead. It’s lost its spirit, this branch in particular used to be good now it’s trash. I’ll take my family to TGI’s next time. Avoid at all costs!

Food not freshly coocked none known how many time is reheated. It seem general practise as saw chefs cooking chikens but none of table in restaurant had whole chickens .Stay away

By far the best Nando’s mainly down to the service. We were served by one of the managers called ( Isabella ) she has amazing customer service she is a real credit to this branch

Waited 45 mins for food, when we complained manager was dismissive and rude. Eventually main meal came but starter had been forgotten. Really bad experience and not the first time. Will not be going back.

Sat waiting for half an hour for our very basic starter order to appear. Enquired where the food was, manager was dismissive, unapologetic and rude. After 45 minutes of waiting the main meal arrived. Had to ask again where the starters were. Ended up with a table full of starters and main meal. Quickly ate the food and left. Very unpleasant visit and this is not even the first time it has been poor. Will not return. Wish to point out that the waitresses serving were polite, apologetic and altogether great.

Avoid at all costs waited over an hour for our food,incredibly rude staff who were arguing amongst themselves nearly very customer was conplaining about the wait and treatment - awful experience do not bother.

Cold food, 45 mins before closing yet still rushing service. My mash was half cold and wet, the chicken wasn’t cooked properly. Staff was not paying attention to customers, more so to each other and gossiping.

Won’t be wasting my money here again! Terrible service and atmosphere, ruined my whole party’s experience. Want my money back or compensation for the waste of money and time :( Usually have a great time at any Nando’s but this one is the worst I’ve ever been to, the staff were so rude and condescending to myself and my family. The staff are rude and so disorientated. Waited over half an hour when we were put on a 10 minute waiting list cos the woman decided to clean all the tables rather than just one so we could be seated! A group of 10 people and many others were then seated despite us being on the waiting list. We didn’t even get an apology!!!! The cashier girl charged us for the half chicken we had free from the chilli’s collected. Not to mention they had also run out of breast pieces! Worst experience ever. Dirty, chairs filthy, clueless and unprofessional staff who take forever to do the simplest of things. Avoid this branch

Food was nice but a worker refused to give us a mac and cheese which had been put next to meat. (Vegetarian) And after was hostile towards the rest of our party. Other workers were nice.

Do not come here! The staff are all high in the kitchen, ordered a sunset burger with the Portuguese bun instead, had to send it back twice because they kept getting it wrong, first wrong bun and second no sauce, don’t understand how you can get something so simple so wrong multiple times. When we went up to go change it you can see the chefs are all high out of their brain, not knowing a single thing that they’re doing. A server had to go back there and do it themselves because the chefs were so incompetent. Do yourself a favour and don’t waste your money here

Always a great place for quick and easy meal. The menu has welcome changes every now and then. The service is fast and consistent with food portion size and quality. The place can Get busy at peak hours but is large enough to accommodate during these periods. Staff levels are always adequate

Sat on a table no issue, went to till, said I couldn't order there use the app, went to table to use the app, till staff served next guest via till, then was removed from my table because they had a big booking coming in, why sit me there then?, why make me use the app if your till were fine? Very dark place when you sitting in. Food is always good and fresh so nothing to complain. Doesn’t feel comfortable there as stuff is literally looking at you all the time and you can clearly see that they talking about you or another people. Not hiding that

Visited the Watford branch today. Shocking service at the branch. Waited at the counter to be served, no one came to take the order for best part of 11 minutes. The WiFi was not great to place the order through the app. Staff members were openly arguing and bickering with each other. The manageress seemed to have something completely different on her mind as she did not seem to care one bit about customer service. Overall the place was crying out for some firm management and tender loving care - which it seemed to lack.

This was my first time to Nando's in Watford and I was part of a large group. Caleb managed to organise a table for us despite it being exceptionally busy. This included 6 children aged 1-8 years of age. Nothing was too much for staff to meet our needs. We were given a spacious area for the kids to not feel restricted. Food was ordered and came in less than 10 minutes. Overall an enjoyable evening for us with great food.

We had a starter and 3 mains, after picking at our starter for a bit two of our mains arrived but not the third. We managed to polish off the mains before the other even arrived, thankfully Maya helped us to get our last main and was very nice and helpful. Making the experience better overall

I have been going to Nandos ever since the first one opened in Finsbury park, ive always loved it, so much so that when we moved to watford to have children this would always be the place we have every family celebration. For the last 15 years ive been going to this branch so Ive seen the high level of staff turn over, but for a while now they have had a manager called Monika (short lady with blondeish hair), she is rude, always has a face like thunder & NOT welcoming at all & doesnt make it a very enjoyable place to come any longer and definatly not the type of service ive been used to for years from Nandos staff and definatly not in this branch. I've been coming here so long and so oftern Ive seen a huge change in the staff moral and how they are treated. Ive whitnessed Monika shout and scream at staff without even considering the customers or the enviroment that she is in. Ive never seen a Managers treat their staff like this EVER, they always used to respect their staff. Ive whitnessed Monika not only shout and swear at staff members (innfront of customers) but also shout and tell custoers to get out if something is incorrect that she didnt like and not the customers fault. My last straw was 1 day I went to the toilet (you have to pass the back door, which is diectly next to the kitchen) the back door was open, as I walked passed I saw rats running around I reported it to the manager on shift (Monika), for fear of them running into the resturant and even contaminating the food. She turned at said "well do you see the rats in here?" I said no, she shurgged picked up some dished and said, "so whats your problem then" and continued to walk off to serve the tables, I told her that she is very rude, this was a health a safety risk and she needs to sort it out.At that point she looked me in my eyes and said "listen, the rats have been here many years now & im far to busy to worry about that, I expkained to her that I will be reporting her to enviromental health, again she said "i dont care" and walked off, after that I just had to leave and even though I had just paid £60 for me and my kids to eat, I vowed I would never return to this branch again. I have some friends that still cometimes go in their for their food, I have advised them to record her at work. Ive decided to start using the branch att the bottom of the high street (even though its inconvenient) becuase this is the Nandos enviromment that im used to. I do think an investigation needs to be done on the staff's mental health for the way they are treated by her. Just to say for all the time ive been going here all the rest of the staff are amazing, they know theircustomers by name. AND PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE RATS!!!! BECUASE YOUR MONIKA DOESNT CARE. Please note this is not a reflection on the other staff members/Team, they have always been great, hence why ive been coming so many years,

Good fast service as always, didn't wait for a table but it got very busy as we were leaving. Long queue after 7 pm on a Friday Family friendly and helpful staff.

Staff are always welcoming, ensure that they order is ready as fast as possible. Always greeted with a smile. Food is always cooked perfectly, great location and always worth coming back to… always a hit with family and friends.

I went in today to order a take out and was told that if I was ordering, it would be cash only. So I stated that it would be ok so I waited as she was going to send someone over. Someone else eventually came over and advised the same thing and I said again that cash is fine. Then she asked if I could order online, I stated no. She then turned to her colleague that helped me initially and stated she was too busy to take my order. I waited a few more minutes and approached another member of staff and stated what she said and then went to pepe's. I have rarely had such rudeness in ordering in a shop before.I only went there because my daughters like their food.

Just had a very poor meal delivered. It was so disappointing as we have ordered from this restaurant before and it’s been consistently delicious. The lemon and herb had no flavour at all, the chicken was so dry…. even the chicken thighs were dry, which is quite an achievement! The corn was completely raw and had zero flavour. Terrible meal, what a waste of money. Tried to call Nando’s to complain…. No answer.

Why did we cross the road,!? For a chicken dinner obviously 😁 No, but seriously, wasn't on our radar, we Litterally came across the place, although I did googled tripavisor for reviews, and was a bit wary seeing a few low scores, still gave it ago. Staff were friendly enough. Had drinks. Then halloumi sticks and dip, wedges with garlic. Grilled chicken wrap, boneless platter, peri salted chips, garlic bread, coleshaw, It was all hot, and delicious, enjoyed the meal, glad we didn't take too much notice of some of the reviews, the recent good ones swung it. Glad we did.

We had the pleasure of being served by Simona at the till, she is by far the most attentive and kindest Nando’s employee I’ve ever come across and I eat a lot of Nando’s! She went above and beyond to make sure we had top notch service and with a massive smile. She made the dining experience so enjoyable will definitely be back in to see her!

Don't get the hype personally, the food was ok not great that I want to rush back any time soon service was again ok, the stairs to the toilet looked dirty and grimy and could do with a paint in my opinion but overall ok

Reviews for this Nando's seems to be all over the place. Contrary to the poor reviews, I actually had a very positive experience. Greeted warmly at the door. It was our first time in a Nando's in some years and our hostess explained what to do and how to place our order, about the sauces counter, etc. Our food came quickly. The manager checked on us and all the patrons regularly to make sure we were happy. I thought it was one of the best (if not, the best) customer service I've received since setting foot in England. The food was tasty and satisfying and I look forward to returning soon.

Argumentative supervisor Irene. Manager wasn’t around. Chicken was pretty tough. Complained about one of the items being overdone and supervisor spent 15 minutes arguing about it. 0 customer service aptitude. Needs to go on a course. Generally customer service is good at Nando’s. Maybe it’s just this Watford branch. Not planning on going back.

Very poor online delivery and customer service experience - we had a 2+ hour wait for delivery (with the time continuing to be extended), and were unable to get through to the Watford Nando’s phone line for an update. Don’t think anyone managed the phone lines / they just weren’t picking up the phone. The main Nando’s customer service line was helpful in cancelling our order - the actual service from Watford was poor - not even customer service could get in contact with them…

Garlic bread was cold and asked to be replaced and they are short of plates so we had to wait for 5 minutes and by the time all food was cold.

The most run down terrible condition nandos I've ever been to, the rear sitting area is horrific tables floor seats are all battered...staff and food great, company needs to spend some money and tidy place up..

Pretty impressive for a franchise that has been running for more than 20 years. Interesting menu updates, still serving good chicken and chips with decent amount of new options for friends and families out for a nice meal. Staff was very decent and friendly.

The worst restaurant for delivery! The driver took ages to bring the food. He told me that Nando’s make him wait 20min for the food, that should have been ready at the time the driver received the call to pick up! The restaurant wasn’t even busy at the time ! Very slow service , the worse for deliveries ! If you can order from another restaurant, never again from them .

We went for an early dinner this evening with our 2 year old and despite having technical issues the staff were really attentive in ensuring we got our food quickly. Both Elton and Irene were especially kind and helpful. We will continue to be regular customers!

The food was great but 1 of the staff was unhygienic. She cleaned her nose with her hand but did not wash her hands after. I felt a bit disgusted.

Came in today and had the worst experience ever. Wanted to sit at the back as it was cold but was advised that it’s closed. But people were sitting and eating. Went to order and told them that I would like my starters 1st and then mains. My wife got her food and 20 minutes later I got my mains. I was not happy as the food was closed and I wanted to speak to the manager. I waited 20 minutes for the manager to come and by that time I had enough and left. This used to be a good branch but the service and food have gone down the gutter. I would not even recommend this to an enemy.
