Dexters asked us to write a review for them before we had even signed a lease. Here’s the review they were so eager to obtain. I have never worked with a more unprofessional, uncommunicative, and unhelpful company. They were a pain to deal with at every step of the way. They changed the landlord on us 3 times during the process - during the tour, they advertised that they managed the property just to have the lease name a random person and then change it again the following day. If you ask any questions, they will react with disgust and contempt, as if your questions are inconveniencing them. They will constantly cold call you, but good luck reaching them over the phone or getting a response to your email. I’m convinced they operate over the phone so that nothing is in writing and you always feel caught off guard. They will constantly change the goal posts on you, requesting additional information at every step of the way. Their requests are often contradicting to their previous emails and requests. The landlord ended up backing out of the lease to give the unit to her niece. We thank the universe every day that it fell through. Every day I question why I almost signed with this company. I would avoid dexter’s at all costs unless you want to feel the need to put your head through the wall throughout your entire search process . All the 5 star reviews must be paid actors or friends/family of the company.

As our tenancy came to a close, we had Jack (Beacom) as our point of contact throughout the process. He was super proactive throughout the, while always being respectful of our time constraints. He was always responsive (even out of office hours - apologies for the hounding) and helped out with any requests we had. Consummate professional and nice bloke, 10/10.

Dexters have been incredibly helpful with our flat hunt. We had been looking for weeks and then we started working with Jack (Jack Beacom) who was magnificent. Jack was super friendly and incredibly helpful, he made sure that all stages of the process went through as quickly as possible and without him I'm sure we would still be looking for a suitable flat. I have recently signed onto a flat with Dexters. Dunica was extremely helpful and accommodating in the process right from scheduling a viewing around my working hours, to supporting with the document and legal checks once our offer was confirmed. My friends and I moved into a rented property in brixton at the start of October. Since moving in we have had a broken hob for over 6 weeks - including over the Christmas period. After countless emails and calls - with very limited responses the only actioned communication we had was after we withdrew rent for the month (we felt this was our last resort to get this ongoing issue resolved. We have a tenancy for 24 months - I will certainly review this post after and hope that I can change my feedback.
