Nice enough restaurant but sadly so many items were missing off the menu, items I would have chosen. I had sirloin steak, perfectly cooked and a stick toffee pudding. Staff exceptional a credit to the company.

Lovely little place, with a big selection of cakes and other delicious meals. Spent an hour here, and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend you to pay a visit and enjoy the sweet tastes and that amazing atmosphere which makes this place special.

I stopped off this morning to grab a coffee and a couple of breakfast baguettes. The baguettes were great and excellent value for money. Mine was a vegetarian one with halloumi, beetroot and olives which was huge and full of lovely ingredients. I had a special request for my husband who wanted a bacon butty, which they stated they don’t sell but the lady kindly made a bacon and egg baguette for him which he enjoyed immensely. The bread was fresh and crusty and very delicious. I sat outside watching the world go by with a very tasty black coffee waiting for my food to be prepared and it was so nice.

A nice old fashioned Inn just off the A40. Lots of character. The location is excellent and it is a good base to explore Pembrokeshire or mid Wales from. Stayed 3 nights. Nice people run the place. Make sure you check beforehand if the wifi is working, if that is important to you.

I’ve been walking past here every day and have always wanted to go in, the art on the walls always gets my attention. This week we decided to go for lunch, had a jacket potato and it was delicious, nice and fluffy with plenty of beans and cheese, the staff were really friendly too. Food was slightly pricey for a work lunch break, but everything is now! Will definitely go back soon.

We arrived at bluestone absolutely starving, this pub was the first option that came up on our Apple Maps & we literally thought let’s just give it a go. I must say I’m so glad we did, we were seated straight away, food didn’t take long, and the portion sizes were well worth the money! To top it off the food was also banging! The onions rings were 12/10, would definitely recommend.

OK....first of all you need to know that I made this review several years ago and just now realized that I had posted it to the WRONG Greyhound....my bad. Here is my review as posted.........Spent a night across the street at The Mariner Hotel after missing the ferry to Ireland down at Pembroke. Not sure where to eat so we stumbled across the street to The Greyhound Hotel for a bit of bar food. Started out in the pub that had a half dozen or so locals there drinking ale and watching football. I bought a round for the boys and the party was on. Very friendly and fun bunch of blokes that the wife and I very much enjoyed meeting and spending time with. After a couple of beers we went upstairs for a bite to eat, and the experience could not have been better! We both had the fish and chips, and I can say without a doubt that it was one of the best meals I have ever had, and the price (about 8 pounds) was to die for (see photos), The fish was fresh, the batter was wonderful, the mushy peas were fresh and flavorful and the chips? Well they were hot and fresh and more than we could eat. The couple running it (he cooking and she serving) were a hoot, The place is very small and probably seats no more than 20 but several tables were filled with locals, and they were all very friendly and open. One of the highlights of our trip. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g658255-d3810256-r163165846-The_Greyhound-Carshalton_Surrey_England.html#

Fantastic pub so laid back. There are different areas to the pub depending on the mood you are in. Formalish with wooden floors and tables, bar area, sofas, beer garden out side and two areas under cover. Loved it. There were two dogs wandering around who were so friendly. Lovely atmosphere here. There was a band on the Saturday evening too. Great stuff. Loved it.

One of the employees made me and my friend leave when we were still finishing our coffee because we ate some of our own sandwich, which is fair enough. However I hadn’t finished my (expensive) coffee and her tone of voice was very rude. We weren’t trying to be disrespectful or rude and we were initially told that if we bought something we could eat our sandwich outside. I would never speak to my customers like that. The lady at the till was lovely though!
