What a great pub. Good honest food, nothing too fancy, just good quality grub. Staff were lovely and attentive even when busy. Reasonable prices. Just all round great place

Called in for dinner this evening. Two of us enjoyed our meals very much but the third didn't enjoy hers. Meal not as described she felt. Staff lovely and friendly. Log burner was lovely at first but we were really too hot by the time we left.

A fabulous pub where you are absolutely guaranteed a warm welcome, great service and delicious food. We went 3 times it was that good. Please be sure to visit if in the area.

Great atmosphere friendly staff, had a Sunday roast pork & beef. The food was superb, with the usual and mushy peas. Tried brains bitter but the rev is much better.

Location great, amazing food and quick service. We popped in for some lunch after a lovely walk on the beach opposite. I had the cod sandwich and my partner had the hunters chicken toastie. Both meals were thoroughly enjoyed!

Came here for a evening meal, first impression not a welcoming or friendly start. We ordered a lasagne and beef burger. Food didn’t take long to come out and service was quick from the young waitress. However when food arrived the beef burger was dripping in grease. Lasagne was nice however a few mouthfuls in I noticed a long hair attached inside of the cheese. It took a while to get the waitresses attention to inform her of what I found. When I told the waitress she took the fork away which had the hair stand on it. No immediate apology, she then came back and said the manager offered a full refund and a free meal and a blunt sorry, I politely declined as I not longer wanted to eat here. We then went to go and pay for the burger and two drinks that we had, the women behind the bar said ‘we have taken the lasagne off the bill’. No apology and no genuine remorse from any staff member. I understand that mistakes happen but I am disappointed with the way the staff handled the situation.

We sat at table 14 upstairs. Fabulous view. Served by a lovely young lady who was very attentive. One had gammon and the other had cod. Both meals were generous portions a d very tasty. We've not been to The Galleon for several years after it had really gone downhill. It's lovely to see how well refurbished it has been, with the bar in a much better position. Looking forward to coming back x

Unfriendly staff on arrival as we didn't have a reservation. Felt unwelcome and awkward thereafter. Both meals were disappointing and underseasoned. Additional condiments were cheap so didn't add anything. Just generally a bit disappointed and particularly saddened to feel so unwelcome. Wouldn't recommend. Not a nice atmosphere.

The word chaotic doesn't do this place justice. We arrived to meet 6 friends for dinner and were shown to our table by a pleasant girl. We were handed menus, drinks and food but she left before we could order a drink. Our friends arrived 5 mins later and they were also handed menus but again she beat a hasty retreat before we could place any order for drinks. Eventually she returned and we tried to order drinks, I asked for a pint of any ale (not larger, yuk) to be told they didn't have any, mid August and they don't have beer, and in a pub too. She told us they had been very busy, but, who would allow their business to run out of beer midseason in a very seasonal location? This was a sign of things to come I'm afraid. At least one third of what we tried to order was not available, too many things for me to go into. The food we did have was fine, good pub grub, no more no less and the protions were generous but their is no excuse for running out of fishfingers (kids menu) when it is right next door to a Londis. Just nip out and buy some for heavens sake. We had a good time regardless and they have a nice atmosphere but get a grip and keep your stocks up in season, afteral it's over before you can blink.

A very warm welcome from the staff when entering the pub, we asked for a table upstairs to watch the sun go down and we where seated with no problem at all, the young waitress was extremely polite and very friendly a credit to the pub. Food was excellent and large portions, Thai Red Curry, Chicken Madras and salmon mains were all well presented and filling. Highly recommend if you are in the Broadhaven Area on Holiday.

Booked (2 days in advance) a specific window table with view of beach and sea. Arrived on time to find our table had been given to others. We were pushed upstairs against a wall. Member of our party has mobility issues - has difficulty climbing stairs. Dog is elderly and unsteady on legs. Drinks order arrived incorrect. Curry arrived piled high with Naan and Poppadum. No side plate provided in order to get to rice to mix with curry. Had to place Naan and Poppadum on table to mix rice. Obviously not thought about by serving staff who just plonked on table and walked off. Food mediocre. Would most definitely not return. Was fairly expensive evening for what was provided. Thought about complaining, but place was packed - on the day in question there had been a triathalon earlier in day. Obviously they were busy, and filled the tables downstairs with people who arrived first during the evening (even though we had booked our table for 7.00pm) so no excuse for giving our table to someone who had not booked. If they wish customers to return, they should treat each table with respect - they are providing a service which you pay for. Complained to Manager who just said "sorry, it has been chaotic". Appalling response!!.

Enjoyed brilliant, local homemade, delicious hot food, welcoming, friendly service with brilliant company and atmosphere. P.s the homemade chips are equisite!!! 👌 Well recommend!! 😃👍😋 (Bus driver extraordinaire)

Glad we booked a table (number 14) on the first floor by window (as is number 16). The view was lovely. Served by a very polite young man, who took our drinks and meal orders. Food, beer and wine was excellent, we will return. Thank you.
