Had a great time at the quiz night

Had a wonderful meal here for my sisters birthday, brilliant service. Steak was 10/10, we will be spreading the word!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Attended for a wake, they couldn't of done more to make us welcome

Passing by and stopped for Sunday Lunch. Highly recommend. Friendly staff. Good choice of Roast meats which came with roast veg and a large dish of other veg plus an enormous gravy boat. We enjoyed a lovely well priced meal.

Came for mums birthday as we were staying on the National Trust property nearby, 4 adults, a teenager and a dog. Couldn’t have been better. Super friendly staff, food portions were HUGE and delicious (and good value). I had the special venison pie with a pint for £13, unbelievable value. Food and drink for all five of us came to £75. Loved it, would definitely go back.

We have been to the whitehart on a good few occasions but today the food was well below standard. I ordered fish and chips and when it came out the batter was burnt however there were loads of chips on the plate.. I asked waitress to take it back as over cooked to the point the batter was burnt and she looked at me if I had 2 heads... So eventually the food was returned and fish was better, the pile of chips had been replaced by a few chips which looked like they were scraped off another plate as had red sauce on them. So went to pay £38 and some pennies and once I paid I was asked how meal was and said very poor, explained the issue and reply was oh you the one who sent food back... And she seemed to think it was funny as she said sorry about that with a big grin on her face.... I probably won't come back here again even though it's local... The food in the local chippy is a far better quality than what we ate tonight and far cheaper.... Truly am disappointed. Unfortunately I will now tell more people of my bad experience rather than how good it should of been, well at least the whitehart is up by £38.

This is a proper local pub / inn, not flashy or pretentious, just good quality at a great price. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room, which was clean and well prepared. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. The food was excellent, plenty of it and very reasonably priced. It's a 15 mins stroll into the town, so well located too. If you're looking for somewhere to stay with character where you can have a beer with local people then I'd definitely recommend the White Hart.

We have visited this place many times before and always had a lovely meal, but today was very disappointing. I had the lasagna, and in all honesty it was awful, there was a very a very small amount of very dry and tasteless mince under approximately 2in thickness of very chewy cheese, which hadn’t even been browned, this had obviously been heated in the microwave as there were several hard pieces of pasta in it. We thought that we would order a dessert, we asked the waitress for a menu, but she never returned! We waitedfor more than 15mins and decided to leave without the pudding,my husband had to go looking for the waitress to ask for our bill, which was rather expensive for what we had. I am very disappointed as we won’t return here,which is a shame as they are dog friendly.

This has to be the worse place I ever have had the misfortune to stay The room was quoted as ‘ deluxe ‘ four poster It was a cess pit and isn’t fit to be let , The room is dark and dank and smells dirty , the carpets are grubby , you can’t take your shoes off . The lamp didn’t work and the bed sheets were stained , the kettle was dirty as were the cups and the teaspoons . The bathroom was foul , mould all over the bath and behind the taps on the bath and sink , no hand soap- surely that’s imperative given the times we are in , the flannels were grubby , not as in been used but been left for ages , the towels were stained and the rubber in the shower door had at least a years worth of dirt in ground into it , the wall paper was coming off the walls which had mould . Service was very slow , seemed to be understaffed . I couldn’t in clear consciousness recomend this place to any one I’ve emailed them asking for a refund of 50 % let’s see if they comply

We had our wedding at the white hart on Saturday, Katie & Daneil couldn’t have provided us a better day! Absolutely amazing! All staff are so friendly and go above and beyond! The rooms was spotless! We had all the b&b rooms for our wedding guests which was perfect! Breakfast was beautiful, the evening meal we had prior to the wedding was absolutely delicious 🤤 I would honestly highly recommend! Thank you white hart!

Sunday dinner was disappointing! I had the pork and it was dry! The rest wasn't impressive either. Expensive as well. Won't be returning.

The food was Luke warm and microwaved The chicken was not cooked properly and was left on the plate,Lasagne cold and not cooked properly.Probably the worst meal I’ve had in years.Salad coleslaw warm ,Do not eat here, I am feeling sick now.

Comfortable stay with good evening meal. Breakfast was superb, you certainly won't leave hungry. Staff friendly. Recommended.

A bit tired in places and the bar was closed when we returned before 11pm which was disappointing but we were grateful to the guests enjoying a function that enabled us to join them in an adjacent bar. Food was excellent I loved the double burger. Staff very nice too but rooms and doors etc have seen better days. Reasonable value non the less and clean also.

Rooms are basic but clean and warm. Shower did not function properly with erratic temperature and flow rate. Food in the restaurant is nice enough and reasonable price. Decent sized car park. Friendly and helpful staff. Check in was in the bar as the accommodation area does not have a reception.

The staff were super friendly, the food was really good and the pub was nice and cosy. They have everything you could want here, they serve food until 9 most days, pool, darts, sports on the TV. Not much in the area so we drove around for a good while before we found this little sanctuary, it was so good we came back every night of our trip.

Whilst the sign says food served 12-3 on a Sunday unfortunately we were told they had stopped serving (at 2.45)

We was a party of 6 celebrating my mums 80th birthday party. My mum was quite unwell at the time and found she couldn't stay for the meal so we asked for her meal to be boxed to go along with my aunts as she was taking her home . Sara and Thalia were so accommodating to our party because we did end up messing them around quite alot. The smiles never left their faces.

We stayed overnight, room was decent sized but no WiFi which was down the weekend we stayed and no discount in a superior family room. No heating in the room although radiators were fitted. I think it was switched off,next morning condensation all over the windows. The bathroom had a broken loo roll holder. However if a little money was spent the room would be cracking as the bed was extremely comfortable and very quiet from other guests. We ate evening and breakfast in the restaurant and truly cannot fault the food or the impeccable service. All in all if you want a b&b with great food and service and a simple but comfy room with blankets go here. P.s the shower was very powerful.

We've been here a few times and always been happy with food and service. Sunday dinner was a bit of a disappointment..we ordered drinks three times to three different staff before they were brought to us after 20 mins . When we ordered our food we asked for less mash/ more cabbage and was told that was fine. When the food came we got a tiny portion of peas with a strands of cabbage added, and loads of mash. As a diabetic who manages my condition with eating low carb, this wasn't great. It was a different server again who had no idea that we'd ordered less mash / more cabbage. The meat was cold and arrived substantially before the veg selection. Quantity was generous overall and the vibe was relaxed but not quite as good as it could have been

Found this establishment while driving through Wales.....what a fab find!! On entering we were greeted warmly and taken through to a large dining room. As it was a Sunday we were given the Sunday Lunch menu which was reasonably priced. I had the lamb which was just divine and my husband had the pork.....he said it was delicious. The lunch came with so many vegetables it was amazing! Two desserts later and we were well and truly stuffed after a wonderful meal.

A lovely welcoming bar with a large area for dining. We had a table for 2 and had 3 courses each. The starters were served in a timely manner which were gorgeous - my husband had mushrooms and I had pate which was very good. The main meals were lamb/ beef and a turkey dinner which was piping hot and very tasty. The mash potato were soft and creamy along with fresh vegetables which were cooked to perfection. For sweet we had apple pie with custard and chocolate fudge cake with cream. The staff were very attentive and looked after us really well which is why we gave them a good tip. I can say we will definitely be returning. Well done all ❤️

Visited The White Hart quite spontaneously, seeing the brown signpost while heading for another pub! So glad we did, as we had the best Sunday roast in a long time. Very tasty, generous portions, wigh lovely vegetables. Didn't really have room for dessert but couldn't resist. And we weren't disappointed! No reservation was required. Very friendly, welcoming staff. I can definitely recommend the roast, and will return. Perhaps to try other things from the menu.

Decided to take a break away from home. Googled and came across this fine establishment. So Saturday night was booked. Nearly drove past as it seemed so small. Don’t be fooled. This inn is a lot bigger then first place impressions make out. A lovely country inn made even better any lovely friendly staff. Dana and Sara you helped make our stay the lovely experience it was. The two of you both pulled marathon shifts but you never lost your smiles or friendly disposition. Thank you. We will be back

Managed to book a large table for 13 at the last minute and they put us in a private room which suited us perfectly. The staff were lovely and super helpful and couldn’t fault the drinks or the food which was very much traditional ‘pub grub’ and very tasty. Highly recommend.

Very happy with our stay. Bedrooms clean and well appointed. Staff v friendly. Good pub grub and beer. Lounge / restaurant area was v busy both nights so we needed to book a table. Not so happy about other guests bringing snarling barking dogs in to the restaurant.

I don’t often write reviews but I feel this one is warranted. I agreed to go on a blind date last night (yeah I know a bit risky) He wasn’t a psychopath if that helps! So I booked the White Hart Llandeilo for a meal for two. So we arrive, walk in and were greeted by a man who I’m not 100 percent sure was wearing slippers! I gave my name and he gives a massive sigh and responds with ‘follow me’ as if I had really inconvenienced him. I decided to leave it go and think positive and just look forward to some nice food as I was starving. Anyway we were escorted into what I can only describe as an 80’s pornesque wedding venue with silky voiles and over the top chandeliers and I was expecting the bride and groom to enter at any minute and we would be required to clap! Once again I chose to ignore and we were seated. Ok so the guy we were obviously annoying just by our sheer presence in the place rocks up and says ‘sorry guys our chef has gone home ill so there isn’t much to choose from! Inside voice ( are you taking the p? ) That’s brilliant!) So he hands us a menu which consisted of baguettes, jacket potatoes, oh and a manly burger! Awesome! I was screwed as I only eat chicken, fish and vegetables due to uncooperative bowels! Inside voice pipes up again ( GET OUT ASAP) But I didn’t, and just smiled and said ‘no problem’. Now what should have happened was, is that they should have rung me to say we can’t cook jack tonight I’m afraid as we have no chef so would you like to cancel? And my response to that would have been a ‘hell yes’! So my new man friend ordered the burger, well he wasn’t going to have a tuna jacket not when his biceps were bigger than my thighs, let me tell you! And me, I saw a prawn baguette and asked would it be possible to have the prawns without the baguette and maybe a salad. Total confusion pours all over this little waitress standing before us, and I actually felt sorry for her. She replied with I don’t think we can do that but I will ask? Oh so there was hope I thought. She did return and say that the dish I suggested could be prepared! Well tbf it wasn’t a complex ask at all! Anyway as soon as she left I apologised to this stranger before me for this awful place I had brought him to and in order to make it up to him I said I’d pay! (WTH? Why did I offer that? I didn’t want to pay for this crap no more than he did!! Going Dutch would have at least made me less angry) Anyway, he turned out to be good company if anyone cares. So the food arrives and I received how can I describe this now? A pitiful plate of s*! There was a shot of prawns drowning in Marie Rose water, combined with half a tomato, some grass and three slices of cucumber! (Keep calm! Keep calm!) On the plus side it had been drizzled with balsamic vingear! ( every cloud!) My blind date did get his masculine burger and six chips which he seemed very pleased about so there was at least that! Well I finished my meal in about 3 nano seconds as that’s all the time it took to finish what was on my plate. And I’m a slow eater, truth be told. But hey ho, it did fill in a tiny gap! ( couldn’t wait to get home to have some food! No offence to my man stranger) Anyway as we were deep in conversation some kind of flood lights were turned on, you know the type that switch on at the end of an 80’s disco when you’re required to leave! So I wasn’t sure if we needed to go and pay immediately or if there was some kind of fire emergency ( which I actually could have got on board with) But the waitress who over heard my comment regarding this and reassured me it was only because so that she could see what she was doing, cleaning tables, bearing in mind we were the only stupid clientele in this god forsaken place! Now me who doesn’t work well with a spotlight in my face ( trying to hide my wrinkles) starts panicking a little and politely asks if they could be turned off. To which she replied ‘I’ll see what I can do’ ( see what you can do??? Turn them off now please!!! ( trying to get a second date here!) Anyway as lovely as my man stranger was he didn’t have the morals that I required and totally screwed me over and left me pay for the crap that we were served! ( why did you offer woman?) So I ended up paying £30 for a few prawns, some cucumber, a burger and one glass of wine and a pint of cider! (Winning at life? NOT) So fellow White Hart future bookers I suggest you read this review before even contemplating entering the establishment. And if you choose to ignore this detailed review I pray god be with you!

Ordered a pizza from the garden menu.The most standard 6 inch pizza straight from the freezer. Was brought out first time and it was very very under cooked. Member of staff apologised, took it back and brought me a new one, and That was exactly the same as previous.

Had beautiful food here today , The lamb steak was lovely , we also had butter chicken , & fish & chips. Our waitress was fab “Jade” couldn’t do enough was very helpful & chatty . Would call again .

We ate here quite a few times day and eve , lunch and dinner, when we moved to Llandeilo last November 2019. Always a super meal and staff so friendly- large choice-so fresh and tasty. Have not been since lockdown in March of course, so we can't wait to return and enjoy their lovely food again.

We called in for lunch after being told in The Butchers, across the road, that we were too late for lunch (last order 2pm and it was 2.03pm). The staff in The White Hart couldn't do enough. A lovely atmosphere and plenty of interesting things to look at. There's also a very interesting information area showing the brewing process, my 12yr old son found this really interesting. The food was very nice and the coleslaw (which must have been homemade) was delicious. My husband had scampi and chips, but he would have liked a bit more. We all enjoyed our food and also enjoyed our discussion on the building and some of the interesting things decorating the place. Diolch

I could not fault the White Hart Inn in any way at all. What a lovely warm welcome to myself and my friends after we had been for a long walk nearby.It was a birthday surprise to then meet my partner and have dinner and stay the night there in a beautiful room. Firstly I must say that every single one of the staff as well as the landlord and landlady welcomed us as if we were already friends and could not do enough to make our visit exceptional. I must also mention the locals who were a great laugh and so friendly! We felt so at home from the minute we walked through the door. Dinner was absolutely gorgeous! Home made chips, and beautifully presented and also very reasonably priced. The same goes for the drinks, we actually finished the evening with a couple of Pembrokeshire Spiced Rums which were very yummy! Our room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and clean and spacious bathroom. It was all topped off then with a yummy breakfast! Thank you to you all for a night we will remember for ever!

we are happy to travel for good food and this food is worth it. The dinner is lovely and the room is very beautiful, the staff are young but very lovely and can't help you enough. It was only the two of us but the room was busy but it seemed to be servied in no time. Cant wait to go back and have a normal meal!

I have visited the white hart twice. Once for a wedding reception and again for a friends get together. Both times were fantastic for 2 different evenings. Great hard working owners.

A lovely warm welcome to the White Hart on a wet and windy Monday lunchtime in January. Ordered the cod and chips from the specials board and wow, the fish was as big as the plate, piled high on top of the chips. All cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Excellent 3 course meal, the beef was melting in your mouth. The choice you had was excellent my friend had Christmas pudding and I had a trifle excellent the waiters were very helpful. I will go there again.

An excellent Christmas lunch for our Nordic walking group, with fabulous service. Staff very friendly and willing to accommodate any request. The Christmas menu was varied enough for everybody to have a good choice. The room was beautifully decorated with a good atmosphere. Fantastic value for money at £16 a head for two courses. We didn’t feel rushed and we stayed about three hours!

As Pubs go this has to be in my favourite I've ever visited in Wales and it has to be one of my Top 5. I've visited many with my family and this is up there with one of our best weeks. The food is second to none, hospitality, and scenery is spectacular. Overall we will be booking our weekly December visit here again next year. Top class.

Really pleased we stopped off here for an evening meal. The hosts were really friendly and the meals full of flavor and plentiful. My wife loved the vegan options and the childrens menu was perfect for our niece. We had passed this Inn on our way to elsewhere, and decided that we would call in for a hot meal on our way home. We had never been here before so all was new to us. Neither of us were dissapointed as the hot meal proved very tasty. The food was freshly cooked. The only slightly down point was that one meal was served on a cold plate. However, this will NOT stop us going again next time we are in the area.

This is one of the pubs that we use locally, and perhaps have food once a month.

Went out for an anniversary meal. The welcome was poor, when the food arrived I asked for tomato sauce, never got it. When I went to the bar the bar person said “will be with you in a minute “ after 5 minutes I gave up and went back to me my meal as it was getting cold. Never got the sauce, waitress never came back. While paying the person asked if we enjoyed the meal, she didn’t look at us and was too busy listening to people behind her to hear what we had to say. Very sad as the food was lovely. Won’t bother going back.

Visited The White Hart for my birthday 19/07/2019 stayed in room 7 very well equipped and clean. Booked a table for food at 8 and got served by one of staff named Jade. I have to be honest she was excellent at her job and a very open and nice person always smiling what an asset to this business one of the best I have seen. Great place to visit well recommended. Excellent top drawer staff who will always make a difference to your stay.

Bel endroit à la campagne avec un très grand parking. Très grande chambre avec une literie un peu souple mais bon ..., l'avis est très personnel. Propre. Bon accueil. Personnel sympa et petit déjeuner tout à fait classique et largement suffisant.
