Lovely staff compared to Park Pemberton, Llanelli. Food and drink nice but will not visit again as they are going to be accepting dogs inside soon

My lil man and husband frequent this costa more than I. Very friendly staff, the biggest coffee cups I've ever seen (they have 2 handles they're that large) an so cute watching my gorgeous boy drink his baby chino. Always lovely when you're welcomed to an establishment x ♥️

I was at Toby carvery having a carvery where I look across to the top of Costa where it was empty apart from the 2 teenagers to what only looked to be atleast under 15 eating eachothers necks and to the point where the boy started doing something with his hand to the girl and at that point is which I was forced to stop eating my food and have my experience at a lovely carvery restaurant ruined

Clean and tidy, quick and friendly service every time

I frequently come here as it’s close to my work but also because the staff are absolutely amazing! It is always clean here and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They are always professional and chatty the coffee and cakes are delicious and all the staff always provide excellent service I would recommend this costa over any other coffee shops I’ve been to in Carmarthen I always have a good chat before work or on my break with the girls and the extra coffee shot really helps me get through my shifts haha x

This Costa coffee shop is located within the St Catherine's Walk Shopping Centre at the northern end of Carmarthen town centre as is located near a variety of shops as well as the Vue Cinema. The shopping centre has a large car park with plenty of spaces which is only a short walk away from the coffee shop. We stopped here for a hot drink while visiting the town at lunchtime. It was quite busy inside but there were still a couple of places to seat. As it was so busy there was a bit of a wait at the till but the staff members we spoke to were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered our usual decaf cappuccino and hot chocolate with whipped cream and were very happy with the drinks as usual. This was our first visit to this specific Costa and we would happily return if we are ever in the area again.

The food here is really good 👍 would reccomend the chocolate twist 😋 the upstairs view is amazing! The workers there were also really lovely 😊Would definetly reccomend spending a nice evening here 😄

Normally come here as the food and drink offered is lovely. However, on this occasion I was faced with one very rude staff member in particular. I placed my order with no problems, until it came to the serving on my drink. I had taken my cold purchased items to a table fairly near to the serving area, to wait for my drink. Unintentionally, this apparently caused confusion for the staff member concerned which I apologised for. I knew my order and didn't mean to cause the confusion. The staff member, namely wearing a black beanie hat snapped at me saying "It doesn't take much does it? Don't confuse me again." I will add that out of courtesy I brought my cup and crockery back to the front desk once finished and the same staff member said to me "well I don't want your dirty rubbish do I?" If this review is read by the manager of this branch, I would like you to reiterate to your staff the importance of kindness and politeness to customers. This attitude is not the way to increase your reputation or trade. Lessons need to be learnt.

Another amazing coffee today. Me and my wife were served by a very nice this morning and will definatley come back not just for the coffee but the service aswell. We'll done costa 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Excellent grouting on the toilet tiles upstairs, and the Air Fury (registered trademark) hand dryer will blast your cockerel off. Fantastic poo.

Desperate for food in Glangwili Hospital Carmarthen, I visited the only cafe which was a Costa. Ordered 2 Chocolate twists which were labelled with their price of £2.15. I was then charged £2.40 each, 50p more than my bill should have been. When I queried this, the "manager" just removed the price ticket and said that she couldn't do anything about it. She was both rude and wrong. The price displayed should have been the price displayed. Extremely rude and not a place I would recommend to others

Unfortunately I had the misfortune to visit this costa I found the shop to be very dirty, and the staff un attentive, I also witnessed a Male whom I assumed to be the manager standing behind the counter picking at his arm with a face like a wet weekend, whispering to his staff. Once I had received my coffee it was very weak and watery and the cake I also ordered to be stale and almost inedible. I will not be visiting this shop again and suggest they do some personality training for their staff, a truly awful experience

The toilet was terrible and the women behind the counter still in her apron cleaned the toilet and then not washing her hands not changing her apron started to serve people again. Will not go there again.

Ordered from Uber Eats and half the order was missing but still charged 35 quid. Rip off for a few drinks and a sandwich, packet of biscuits and a packet of crisps. Phone number is disconnected

Friendly staff, central location with quick service. Additional 1st floor seating and toilets. Very limited stock of "free from" or non-meat food choices.

Friendly staff. M&S sandwiches sold here. So had prawn, very nice. The coffee and cake were lovely

Always good service, staff have always been lovely only reason for the 3 stars is the new soya milk is TERRIBLE so we can't actually have coffee in here anymore. Tried the other alternatives too but just as bad. Such a shame they had to change. Not the branches fault it was a company decision when they got bought out.

Really enjoyed the coffee but the service was sadly lacking. Server has no personality and could barely speak to us. Came very close to walking out!

An array of independent and similar coffee chains are in the vicinity. Tea is a choice of two black and a few fruit and green teas. It is a Coffee shop so better tea cafe options might be around. Tea was served in a cold teapot so cooled quickly, tea was one bag a pot so wasn't very strong don't know the brand and wasn't cheap. If in the area again i'll go to an independent that doesn't concentrate too much on pretty looking christmas cake looking coffee.

Great customer survice, and very kind to people inquiring about allergys. They were very patient, thorough and kept reasuring us of the measures they were going to to help us feel safe. A very enjoyable experience also. All round 5 stars. Update: I upsettingly have to update this review as when i attended costa today i was informed by a member of staff that it was too busy to check the allergen sheets for my partner and that drinks were subject to a greater risk of cross contamination as they hadn't got the time to prepair a drink seperately. Ive attended costa regularly since my 1st review and genuinly enjoy this perticular costa, however when my partner is forced to drink water because staff are too busy i cannot help but be upset.

Went in there this morning, three people behind the counter, waiting for 5 minutes nobody asking what I wanted, so walked out, they were chatting to each other. Won't bother setting foot there again, costa lot anyways.

Really impressed as very friendly staff and very clean. Fairly new store I think but if not it still looks it! Better selection of food and cakes than some.

Terrible service. One couple in front of me and 2 serving same couple who only ordered coffee. When finished they started moving stuff around shelves ignoring me so I walk out. Ignorant staff.

Walked in, walked out, no one greeting or guiding. Didn't know what to do. Too much left to chance and in a Pandemic that is not acceptable. Went to an excellent independent next door.

My daughter ordered chocolate orange chocolate and received a chocolate coin instead of slice of chocolate orange. I had gingerbread late and didn't receive my gingerbread biscuit as they serve in other Costa s. Staff not the most interactive or friendly.

Visited here with my partner and I was shocked the way one of the staff members spoke to the other, huffing and puffing and being rude in front of us as customers I did not expect, the young lady on the till that had blue hair was very lovely but the other staff member with tattoos over their arms and wearing a hat was awfully rude.

No control over the tables.....not cleaned properly and sitting 1 person at a table for 4 is taking the .......

I visited Costa this morning (14/08/20) with my little girl and it was our first venture into a food & drink place since lockdown. The queuing system was well managed, the staff polite and busy serving and cleaning tables and I was really impressed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Bad. They kicked us out and would not let us sit down and was very rude. But they would allow other people to sit down. And was very very rude about it. The only best thing was walking out.

Not too bad coffee and nibbles. The first proper coffee place in carmarthen, the food and drink has been bettered by competitors that have sprung up around town but the seating is very open and spacious and the premises have a fresh clean feel unlike the other places that are overly busy and packed in.

It's enough food for all sorts. I had a toasty, cheese and mushroom, loved it. It was taken to my table, with my Earl Grey tea. Pleasant somewhere to sit, rather than be outside or in the rain or wind.

I dont appreciate been shouted at by a member of staff "NEXT NEXT NEXT ARE YOU NEXT"not frequenting Costa often not knowing procedure I said yes she said "well over here" can I have a coke please "YOU HAVE TO GET IT FROM THE FRIDGE" with a sigh . Never again the place was dirty not one clear table I had to clear it myself and the tray was were I left when we left . Next time I will use a local business at least they look after thier customers . The coffee was ok

Nice generic premium coffee at premium prices

This is one of favourite Costa, nice location in the centre of Carmarthen. Easy access to the shops and places of interest. The coffee is always lovely and the staff are very friendly. Nice clean table and chairs. I always visit this Costa every time I’m in Carmarthen.
