Fantastic pub so laid back. There are different areas to the pub depending on the mood you are in. Formalish with wooden floors and tables, bar area, sofas, beer garden out side and two areas under cover. Loved it. There were two dogs wandering around who were so friendly. Lovely atmosphere here. There was a band on the Saturday evening too. Great stuff. Loved it.

We broke down outside the pub and the staff tried to help us jump start the car, gave advice on local garages and even a free drink! The staff could not have been more helpful. We returned the following night for food and unfortunately it wasn't the same staff so we could not thank them again but the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Stopped off here after a nice walk in the surrounding area. It was perfect for a spot of lunch. We had the toasties which were very generous in size and very tasty. The star of the show was the onion rings which we ordered another portion of. Definitely recommend these to anyone! The pricing is also excellent value. The atmosphere was lovely but the configuration of the seating is a little odd and the seats themselves were slightly uncomfortable however this did not impact our visit. Lovely staff, especially the two dogs!

Called to the Bluebell, as said it had a beer garden, handy as we had our granddaughter with us and thus way she couldn't run off. Garden was lovely, Food was excellent quality and excellent value for money. I had a toastie and expected one round, however, I had 2, plus a lovely salad. Hubbies burger was gorgeous, onion rings and garlic bread were homemade. Overall it was delicious. Staff were very nice and the toilets were spotless too. We will definitely recommend and look forward to going back soon

What an amazing pub, with plenty of seating inside and out, friendly staff, great service, lovely homely feel to it. Love food, cheap and plentiful. Toilets are spotless, beer garden is lovely, and the 2 resident dogs gave me the biggest welcome ever. Will definately be returning soon.

Stopped here on Sunday afternoon following a walk in the nearby forestry. The menu was simple, with a choice of a variety of pies and burgers. Between us all we had both and everyone commented on how nice they were. For £8 per meal you really couldn’t fault it. They were all home cooked and good quality. If you’re looking for a good quality burger or pie you won’t go wrong

Good for drinks in a lovely beer garden with friendly staff and dog friendly. Would definitely return for drinks… …but not food. Or at least not a pie. Cheap and cheerful pub grub. Would have no complaints if the chicken pie hadn’t been cold in the middle.

All Covid 19 regulations met to a high standard. I don't normally order pie as i only ever really eat the filling as not keen on pastry. But i opted for this and my fiance had chicken burger. We ordered side of cheesy garlic bread and onion rings. Omg,i devoured the steak n ale pie, pastry aswel. It melted in your mouth and was piping hot which is another bonus for me as i love my food to be really hot. My partners chicken burger had 2 coated breast fillet burgers. He is a real chicken eater n hard to please but he said it was proper breast fillets n none of this processed crap. The side orders were a hit n I've never had cheesy garlic bread so tasty. The staff were friendly, attentive and a real credit to the manager. Definitely recommend and will be back again

First visit to the Bluebell, all covid safety measures in place on entry. We sat out in the very large garden with a choice of tables, some areas are covered over. We ordered a burger, very tasty, onion rings-best I had tasted in a very long time! Also had the meat pie and chips, again really nice, served hot and plentiful, and all at a great price. Excellent service from the bar staff who were polite and helpful throughout our visit. Thank you

Friendly welcome from the staff as we sat in the large outside covered seating area to avoid the rain hammering down! My husband had a Welsh Beef burger, I had Butternut, Beetroot and goats cheese burger with the most amazing chips! All Covid safety procedures in place. Highly recommend.

Coffee was not bad, although staff wasn’t friendly, especially the lady who was making coffees so miserable. Plus I was not even offered my receipt.

A nice old fashioned Inn just off the A40. Lots of character. The location is excellent and it is a good base to explore Pembrokeshire or mid Wales from. Stayed 3 nights. Nice people run the place. Make sure you check beforehand if the wifi is working, if that is important to you.

Took my wife and stepson today 25/05/2025 for his birthday. I had booked a table the previous week and the young lady who made the booking was very pleasant and ensured we had a table with easy access for my wife who has mobility problems. On arrival we were greeted promptly and shown to our table by a very cheerful young man who was definitely wearing several hats at once but carrying it off with aplomb, well done! The seating was very comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. After ordering we had a very short wait for our food, all of which was piping hot, I spent a very reasonable £56.00 for three huge dinners, two of turkey and one pork, and everything was cooked and prepared superbly, compliments to the chef. Big shout out to the portion sizes, many establishments have potions going down as prices go up. Not so here. I ordered extra potatoes, yorkshires and pigs in blankets, a particular favourite of mine and these too were superb. All in all a very pleasant lunch hour and my family and I will definitely go again. We will try a weekday lunch next and it is great to have a convenient local inn.
