this is possibly the most diabolical thing I have ever put near me the Sunday dinner was a crime to society cost stupid's amount for a farm-foods Sunday dinner re heated meal I could not even finish my meal due to it ruining my taste buds I am rather disappointed as I went here to celebrate my disabled sons 8th birthday and the staff treated him poorly not accepting that he is different and now he is too scared to come out of the house in fear of being judged by other people and his needs even he was sick over the food being cheap and unpleasant.

This is a great spot. A lovely setting in beautiful countryside, yet close to a main road. We used it as an overnight stop in our motorhome. There were good facilities for dumping toilet waste and taking on fresh water. The pub is friendly, and has good food, pool, darts and an outdoor Children's Play Area which looked clean and well maintained. We couldn't fault the welcome and helpfulness of the hosts. We would stay again.

We arrived at this welcoming pub/ restaurant in a barn for Sunday lunch. Through no fault of the owner his wife, the chef had to leave for an emergency of a personal nature. He tried to contact us as we had booked for 5 adults and 2 children for Sunday lunch, to our amazement 7 roast lunches had been prepared for us to take away. Not only was this a kind gesture not anticipated he insisted we did not have to pay for it!! Needless to saywe stayed for some drinks and he even gave our two granddaughters a Fredo each. Outstanding hospitality, kindness and so friendly. We throughly enjoyed our more than ample potions once back at our holiday lodge. A huge thank you to our host and may all all be well with your family. With much appreciation, The Clarke family.

We wanted somewhere to eat that would not mind if the baby was making a noise, it was listed in the folder of our holiday house as a recommended family friendly restaurant so decided to give it a try. Not only was it a relaxing atmosphere but the food was absolutely delicious, good home cooking, we enjoyed it so much that we ate there again two nights later. I would definitely recommend.

Met up here with family, some living locally, some travelling a few hundred miles. I believe we ordered at least nine completely different main meals from their menu, and all of the meals arrived reasonably quickly (almost simultaneously with each other) and were all correct.Staff were helpful and polite.

A quirky establishment set in an old barn. Extensive parking and play area with lots of outdoor seating. Inside bar area as you would expect. Greeted and order taken and service satisfactory. Food was good and price comparable to pub food generally. Inside hits from the 80s loudly playing and outside speakers were playing radio pembrokeshire at high volume. I am hard of hearing but this just told us that this was a young person place and/or young family. This prevented a 4 star rating.

As we live near Pembroke we occasionally call in here for a drink after walking the dog in the woods near by but this time we had been swimming at the blue lagoon on a Sunday. Enjoying our drinks by the fire & the owner put a bowl with a few roasted potatoes on our table for us to enjoy (and they were lovely). I know it was a Sunday and they were doing roast dinners and they could have been surplus to requirements but it was a nice touch and very much appreciated. This small gesture will certainly gain more of our custom. Thanks.

We were on our way to Bluestone for Christmas and found the Snooty Fox in just around the corner. I can honestly say this was a great. It was not overly busy as we called in about 2.30 for our lunch. The staff and regulars were very friendly and we certainly enjoyed our lunch which at 7.50 a head for adults and children being free was exceptional value. I had chicken and beef and my plate was covered in meat. There was a separate turine of veg so there was plenty and I mean plenty. A good pint of Coors was on draught and my wife had a very tasty dry rose. The place was well decorated for Christmas and the landlady even took time to show us the Christmas display in the function room and even have my daughter a wrapped present. This was a very pleasurable experience and if in the area call in. I know we will again

We were a party of nine, the oldest 89 and the youngest 2 and we all had excellent meals. The menu had something for everyone - my Mum was very pleased with her lamb and gravy and my granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed her spaghetti bolognaise, which they were kind enough to bring out first, thereby avoiding any hungry tantrums. A good family pub.

We called on the Bank Holiday on the off chance of something to eat. Great welcome from the host who could not be more obliging. I asked for a pint of real ale and it tasted a bit bitter so he tested, agreed, pulled a few more threw away, apologised and then drew the perfect pint. The apology was appreciated. We ordered and was told it would be a half an hour enough time for the children to play in the fort outside. To their word the food was ready all seated at a table for 5 adults and 3 children with 1 vegetarian. The plates were cleaned and kids off to play when Grandad had a few pints more reading the local paper. Well done to all. One small issue is that the extract fan need sorting as out clothes smelt a bit afterwards. Will be back? to true we will as for £90 with all the drinks excellent value!

I’ve just got back from wedding at the Snooty Fox and felt compelled to write a review to say what a great venue this is for a wedding. The wedding breakfast was cooked in house and was absolutely delicious. Simple food done really well. The chicken I chose was tasty and not in the slightest dry. Similarly, the hog roast in the evening was the best I’ve had.

We went for a birthday meal on a Saturday and booked well in advance to make sure we got in. We ordered our food and the young waitress said she could not take our order all at the same time but did not give an explanation as to why. There were only ten of us. We all ended up eating at different times and when the food did arrive most of it was cold. We asked for a jug of water which came but no glasses were provided. On three occasions we asked for glasses and in the end I had to go the bar myself to collect them. The service was rushed and we had to que to pay the bill and then that was wrong as they then tried to charge me for an extra meal. Will not be going back

My wife and I dropped in here for a drink and a meal. We had previously passed this on occasions whilst staying nearby because it looked a bit like a farm shop rather than an inn, but what a find it is. Yes we could see it is popular with the locals but frankly if we were living nearby this would be our local of choice. Good menu, good portions, good beer all served by a friendly landlord in a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Strange place. We visited a couple of times last year June and September both of which were odd, the first couple of times great with brilliant food. The second strange atmosphere and did not stay. We visited again last week to walk in to open bar 3 people present and told they were not serving food. Again strange atmosphere. I am not sure whether this place is for local people but sure not that friendly to outsiders. We probably won't visit again.

The worst wedding reception I have ever attended !!! Service very poor, food rubbish. Told to sit at the table 3.00pm, did not get served until 5.30, I left at 7.30 to go to another family party and the dessert had still not arrived. The staff were slow, the place is dirty. I noticed people had to wipe the glasses before pouring a drink in.I would advise people to beware of this place for a venue.

Whilst Motorhome touring, I phoned ahead to check that we could park overnight. Was told yes, and that he opened at 5pm. After a mechanical problem we arrived at 21.45, tired and hungry only to find that he closed early on Tues. Grabbed a couple of quick pints, no food. We passed several pubs and sites we would have stopped at had we been told about the early closing time (should have been 20.30 but was 22.00 due to a band rehearsing in the pub) Needless to say, we didn't pay the required overnight parking fee.

We have visited The Snooty Fox several times this year. In June the place was heaving with people and families, very good food and drink and generally a nice place to be. Revisited in August bank holiday and the same. On a recent visit however it was quiet and not the same as it was earlier in the year. The food itself is beautiful, traditional and prompt there is no long wait for food. The owners were very nice and friendly and so were the locals. I would say nice to visit and we will be visiting again.

Was visiting Pembroke castle as part of the sealed knot and some friends recommended this place as it had a good restaurant and camping field.Very popular with the locals, which was evident by the nice food with large portionsLasagna & chips with added garlic bread with cheese, triple burger for the second, it had a skewer as was taller than my outstretched hand and was rather filling :)2-3 local beers, some cider and lagers, plus snakebite was a nice change :)shame that there is no photo option :(https://www.flickr.com/photos/78507671@N00/14796198052/in/set-72157646079731305https://www.flickr.com/photos/78507671@N00/14794186204/in/set-72157646079731305/

Ordered two crab sandwiches latte and a beer, £35. Staff need a pick me up or it’s been a hard season. The crab sandwich was good, spoonful of coleslaw, frozen chips. Was told to help myself to a glass for the beer, everyone looked not properly washed, picked the cleanest but still had bubbles down inside indicating grease. Latte was tasteless. Not a pleasant experience won’t be back.
