Always enjoy a really good cup of coffee here, and best Pastéis de Nata outside Portugal!!!! Dog-friendly too 👍🏼

I am a non vegan. I didn't enjoy the burger and facon. Mushroom and bun was nice. The rest of the menu looks good. Will stick to actual vegetables next time. I know many people enjoy meat alternative patty's so don't let it put you off as it's presented well.

Really nice coffee shop. When we walked in we were greeted by the smell of freshly roasted coffee... mmm! Interesting decor and comfy places to sit. There were six of us but we managed to find an eclectic group of chairs for a chat over their lovely coffee and drinks. Our friends decided to say for some food.

Popped in this place during my lunch break and I ordered a spicy Naga Wrap and I have to say it was awesome, and grabbed a Jammie Dodger Milkshake to go with it, and I have to say they have the best shakes in Cardiff by far.... great food, great shakes.

November 2024 The service over the last 7 months has been appalling, and I still kept going back thinking it must be a fluke. I've eaten from here 5 times in the past 2 months. I've ordered 3 times through Ubereats. It always takes over an hour to get here and is always freezing cold. The first time, I thought it was an outlier, but getting cold food and dessert again today today has really irritated me. The last 2 times I went in person, the food has taken forever to be given and has been lukewarm at best. I'm honestly not sure if managerment or the workers have changed but it's very disappointing. Review from February 2024 I've had both take out and an eat in experience here. The take out boxes are very cute I must say. Dessert has been good in both scenarios. However, when it's busy the order can be made wrong and I have had to ask for them to remake it a few times which is why it's not 5 stars for me.

Food wasn’t worth the price, we actually went there because of the rating they have but the food wasn’t that good. Staff were really friendly and polite. They deserves a 5 star.

This little breakfast joint in Cardif was just amazing...the food was sooo good and the atmosphere was just calm and relaxing. We had breakfast here 3 mornings and I was just good. Very cost effective...walk with cash...

I didn’t enjoy the coffee at all; it had a burnt taste. However, the toastie was tasty. The place has a cozy atmosphere, but it’s very dirty. When I went to the bathroom at 10 am, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week, and it was pretty clear that it hadn’t been cleaned in a while since it was so dirty, with old marks and dried stains, mold, scum, so early in the day. It was really gross. Even though there are two hand sanitizer stations, there was no sanitizer available. In a place that serves food, the cleanliness is really important, and this cleanliness level says a lot about the place. It’s quite disappointing.

Great Saturday night band venue. I’m biased because my Sons band ‘The Striplights’ treat The Claude as their home ground as they perform here regularly. As they are this Saturday 25th March. Obviously I’ll be there. You should come too, no gifts or drinks needed for me. Just come along and see one of South Wales top bands.

Watered down coffee, tasted like it came from a Costa machine at a petrol station. Had a cheese & tomato toastie too which was kinda plain. Was excited to try this as costa had partnered with M&S, but they have failed my expectations.

Terrible experience I had today , never ever I go back to Coffee No 1 . Extremely rude person and a terrible decaffeinated coffee I had there nearly all foam , cold and horrible when I complained they were absolutely careless and they replied very badly and they made me another and wanted me to pay again . Unbelievable. Never again. Within a minute or two from this coffee shop there are other coffee shops COSTA , NERO & COFFEE LAB . For me never again back to this one and their other branch in Wellfield raod . They really spoiled my day .
