The food was really nice. I had the katsu and my partner had the all day brunch, the brunch wasn't as nice as the katsu Definitely come back for food again also dog friendly everyone enjoyed me brining my dog in. Speed of service was good at the bar but the food took to long

Had a lovely meal here with a friend recently. The food was really nice and a good serving for the money. Brilliant view of the water especially from the outside seating. Staff were all lovely even though we got there just as the kitchen was shutting we were still served.

On arrival we were very disappointed with no parking apart from a very small disability space. We had to park a 100 yards down the road and carry our luggage. There was ample parking at the angel pub opposite so we were surprised they hadn’t agreed something. My husband entered the bar to see about check in, which was quite awkward as he had luggage and a dog bed while people were eating. The lady who showed us to our room wasn’t unfriendly but neither friendly. Our room was very clean and modern but the en suite was very small. The sink was the smallest I’ve ever seen and difficult to wash a dog bowl. They’re dog friendly but do not have anything in the room for dogs. It was very difficult to even fill the kettle with the sink being so small, we had to fill a glass to be able to fill the kettle. When using the toilet your left knee touches the shower door and your right shoulder touches the sink. The shower was very poor pressure and small but still very clean. The bed wasn’t uncomfortable or comfortable . But on sitting on the edge it totally bent in half. Everything in the room was very modern and a nice colour scheme with lots of nice extras like pictures. One thing I would say is can you put a picture in the empty frame. It did not affect our stay one bit but a simple fix. The restaurant is small but turns out great food, we sat outside as our pup is a bit excitable but the tables were comfy with heaters and blankets. It was steak night which was £40 for two sirloins with sides and a glass of vino. Such a wonderful area with lots of walks, especially to the waterfall but it is quite a trek, I told my husband I’d be 10 mins and came back two hours later. It’s definitely worth the walk. Would I stay here again. Unfortunately not for the price point. The shower and bathroom is not acceptable and breakfast should be included. My husband travels all over the country daily with his work and sometimes our pup and myself accompany him. Amazing location and wonderful food but the staff could be more welcoming. And also advertising a dog menu but the staff knew nothing about it. Also the walls must be paper thin as we were woken up several times causing our pup to bark. You have a wonderful place but just a few minor faults.

A very nice place to visit; the staff are always polite and friendly, and their mocha is amazing! Along with that, I really enjoy their cake options, and the cinnamon bun, along with the danish pastries are very nice! The hot foccacia they do is also a go too option. All reasonably priced, and to top it off, they support Guide Dogs and they're super dog friendly. Also, the music that's played is absolutely amazing, giving the place a great, chilled out place to relax and enjoy the ambience! All the staff are excellent, they go above and beyond when serving, and they always have a smile on their faces when serving.
