Delicious food, reasonable prices & very good service

Just popped in for food on way home, as usual the most friendly staff possible.

Attempted to book a table there. Tel no on their website was the hotel one which took several minutes to be answered. I was then told that I would be transferred to the restaurant. Having held on waiting for call to be answered I gave up!

Breakfast jam is in a dispenser and is awful. I appreciate plastic free but something like Wilkin and Sons Tiptree jam is glass and metal so fully recyclable.

We stayed at Novotel and the restaurant was awesome. Loved the staff.. specially Sabina and Lit and Catia. Kids love them and wanna visit them next year..

Ottimo ristorante, chiaramente gestito con passione dal personale che è evidente si preoccupi di ogni dettaglio. Porzioni abbondanti e qualità ottima. Super consigliato. Complimenti.

The food is reasonable for lunch. The staff however are really inexperienced and slow, they put me off going when im nearby. Expect for Lii, he was absolutely wonderful.

We had a decent dinner here, the friendly waiter greeted us on our way in (we were the only ones there at first) and ordered quickly. The food came out fast and we enjoyed drinks and watching some sports on the big screen TV. Kids ate pizza, husband at a burger and I had a steak salad (gluten free). All very average, hotel style food, not much to report on that end. The hotel breakfast buffet is in the same space. Kid friendly and fast. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive.

Amazing food and the people were so lovely! The price is a bit high but to be honest the food quality was amazing and so was the service for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

What a find ! Customer service goes a long way and this is the reason we have come back for the 2nd night of our stay here in Cardiff . Highly recommend and great value for money. 5* to Anthony , friendly and remembered us from our previous night dining here . 😌😌

First of all great food, yes abit pricey but the steak was amazing you would have paid more at Miller and Carter. Point number 2 the barman Anthony, what a guy! Great company, lovey bloke and Made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be coming back here. Live music on Thursday night which was also great. Can't complain about our meal and drink in this venue. Thanks again all!

Comfortable atmosphere and a nice vibe. Seafood linguini was a good dish.

We found this little gem around the corner from where we were staying in Cardiff & what a little find it was! The staff were so welcoming & we had the loveliest guy wait on us. He was so chatty, helpful & friendly! The food was delicious & I devoured every bit of it! Such a cosy atmosphere & really cool vibe & decor. We were delighted with this find & would love to visit again when we're back in Cardiff.

I visited The Customs Shed on the 26th Of Dec with a few friends as we were staying in the Novotel and was really pleased with the service. The food was absolutely lovely, you definitely get what your pay for. And the staff were so friendly, we were served by Catia who couldn’t do enough for us, so we were very pleased! Thank you

Shocking service. They take drink order pretty fast but then just good luck waiting for food order. The girl just disappears second night in the row and the restaurant is not even full. Same was when asked for bill they just forget you there

Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids dined here for dinner while we stayed in Cardiff for 2 nights. Basically it was the most expensive restaurant we visited and the food didn't match the price at all. All our mains were tasty. I got a curry which tasted great. We ordered dessert and the sticky toffee pudding came out cold! Due to covid-19 restrictions, all meals and drinks were served on cardboard takeaway plates and drinks in plastic cups. This ruined it a bit - eating our meals out of boxes even though we dined in and paid lots. The restaurant did look nice and seems like it would usually have a nice vibe, but covid-19 has possibly greatly affected it.

Food is really good, service lets it down a bit.

The food was very average, couscous was soggy, chips a bit dry and there seemed to be some cheap vinegar chutney on a scotch pancake when we had ordered bruschetta, pictured. The wine menu had 175ml or 250ml. I ordered a small glass meaning 175ml but got 125ml! You should be able to have what you ordered from the menu. Service was good, staff very courteous and friendly but waited 30 mins for food.

Apapuling service, ordered 20 minutes ago and when my food eventually come out it had mushrooms on even though I had specifically asked them for no mushrooms because I'm allergic. They then said it's another 20 minutes before my food would be cooked again. Never again. The chef came out and personally apologised which was nice

Shocking service. Waited at the bar while the two staff made cocktails. When the girl finished hers I assumed I was next but instead the male bartender asked her to start making cocktails for his customer. We waited for 10minutes but gave up and went to our room instead

Great food and amazing service. Loved the atmosphere of this place, would recommend to anyone!

Dined here so many times can't even remember the numbers; spent so many amazing afternoons watching the odd football or rugby game, been around when busy as well as when quiet, amazing experience; so much that I can really say that I feel like home every time I walk in. Really love all the staff, so much that they all know me and I know them. Top notch attitude from Anthony, Liga, Alexandra, Emily and all the others working here. Enjoy the best beef burger in Town, ramp of lamb, pizza, special Welsh fish cake and pretty much everything else that's on the menu. Been served by the chef's that cook it so many times that it actually made me feel special. Enjoy!

Nothing special. Same kind of food which you find in every restaurant chain.

The food and the drinks taste good and the atmosphere is calming and nice. What really ruined my stay was the service. I waited for about 15 minutes before someone showed up at my table to let me order. Same thing with paying the bill. Prices are okay.

The restaurant has changed and is now part of the bar. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food was good apart from the lamb burger my wife had. She found it was fatty and grisly.
