Great staff and fantastic manager. We use the loyalty card system and Costa cups, as a result we save a fortune. The place is always clean.

Good Costa with friendly service

Decent Costa only complaint is lots of tables constantly dirty or not cleared every time I come here

Not impressed with the place. Its a newish, fresh venue, but service was sloppy. Coffee spilled on the tray by the server but no effort to wipe it up. The place was not very busy, with 3 staff in the shop area, all looking at their mobile phones facing each other either side of the serving counter. There were maybe 6 or 7 tables with used cups trays etc. waiting to be cleared. The toilet was in a state; it needed attention but I guess the staff were rushed off their feet. This one was not the staff's fault; the cheese and tomato panini was so bland; almost no filling in it. My wife and I shared it and we both thought the same. I go to a lot of Costa shops; this had the sloppiest feel to it with no excuses about it being so busy..etc.

Nice Costa, a little small and cramped. Lots of tables only sit 2 people. But, despite being busy the staff are lovely, cleared the tables quickly and service was quick.

It is a nice relaxing cafe with great foods and drinks. You can choose from caffeine drinks, frappes, hot chocolates, and more. The snacks are also really nice. I like the sugar cookies that change seasonally, and the jammy dogger biscuts.

Had a piece of the Vegan cheesecake, was delicious!

First port of call when visiting Talbot Green It was very busy for an early Sunday morning Staff are always welcoming and helpful Good start to the day.

I would like to highly praise a young man that was working last Saturday the 30th Dec My mum and her friend both in they 80 ,s went to your store around 1 pm mum is in a wheelchair and when they went to the auto door it was not working a young man on his break outside immediately jumped up and said let me get that for you they had they coffee and mums friend left her in the shop while she went back to fetch her car as it was parked a fair way from the shop, mum saw her car coming and went to wheel herself to the. Car but the same young man now inside working came across and said let me help he pushed her out to the car got her in and then collapsed the wheelchair and placed it in the boat , mum and get friend were absolutely blown away with his customer service they don’t know his name but I hope u can track him down this young man is a credit to you and your store and indeed the way he has been brought up by his parents etc they should be extremely proud of him this was mums first visit to a Costa and this was such a lovely way to treat people please hunt this employee down and reward him if u can as he was amazing

Must have mongs working there that can’t put an order together. Missing orders, cold food. Terrible. No wonder they’re on minimum wage. Joke

Love going to meet friends here But have complained many times about the cleanliness Needs a deep clean Usually 1 of the toilets is always out of use Such a shame as its a popular place

Great place for a real coffee and always busy.

Spent 15 mins in a line waiting to order with a 3 year old and a 10 year old. When ordering my food I waited a while for my food as the lady behind me in the line were clearly well know. To the staff therefore her 4 hot food and drinks were served to her before mine even though I had paid. My 3 year old is autistic and was not easy to manage while waiting for his food. If I ordered and paid first should t my food be cooked first? I won’t be returning to this costa again. It’s a shame because most Costa’s I have been to are so lovely

What can I say. One Costa is much like another. The most consistent thing is the appalling state of the toilets. This Costa is no exception. I think that is what makes the difference between independent coffee shops and Costa. Having said the coffee was ok. Like any other Costa

Long queue but went quick enough. Nice atmosphere. Cup of tea was just that, a cup of tea, nice enough!

Super grubby. Turned up to see a sing saying thei dishwasher had broken to no china cups (spoke with someone recently and apparently this has been the case for weeks!). 2 female staff members stood behind the counter having a good chat, while pretty much all the tables were covered in litter. Litter all over the floor and outside, tables that were clear were grubby and sticky. Extortionate costs on coffee. I'd never return.

4pm mid week. First impressions are really important. Firstly I was metbwith a scratch-wirrten note on the door saying that it's take away cups only as the dishwasher had broken. I still ventured inside, to see 2 girls behind the counter enjoying a chat and 4 tables covered in rubbish (one outside aswell). I sat waiting fir a friend for 10mins and nothing was cleared away. I chose a table, one without rubbish on, although still covered in crumbs and wiped itself. Got iced coffee- nice enough but I wouldn't pay Costa prices (especially in a paper cup) to sit somewhere to dirty again.

Called in for coffee after shopping. There was a sign on door apologising to customer that only take away cups were available as the dish washer was broke. No problem for us how ever I was amazed after speaking to staff how many people had actually complained. If by any chance Costa coffee head office take those complaints serious therefore marking the performance of the down I urge you to think again. The place was clean the staff were happy and helpful. The drinks and cakes were delicious. What else matters.

I come here to work all the time now. The staff is really nice, coffee is good, the place is warm and comfortable and the Internet is free, what more do you need? 😉

Very busy when we visited but fast, efficient and friendly staff who still made time to chat and seemed to enjoy where they work. Staff quite quick to clear tables during busy times. Good service.

Just had the most atrociously rude member of staff behind the counter talk down to my wife for daring to sit down while I was in the queue. My wife, upset as a result, would never dream of taking someone else's table, and the incident was very unpleasant. Costa appears to have a real problem with customer service in this area as we feel certain shops are a no go. Talbot Green now added to the list. There is a way to deal with people in a courteous manner that gets your point across without offending. Walking across the road to M&S we were greeted with a full cafe and a member of staff who clearly informed us we would have to wait, then directed us to a table 5 minutes later. That's how you do it and a clear difference in quality and standards.

Very busy today in the local Costa but we got a table with room for grand daughter's pram, and then had lovely toastie, drinks, pastries, etc. All good.

Beautiful coffee and great bacon rolls.

I only drink tea so was disappointed with the not hot enough water used to make the Earl Grey I had. I'm often disappointed with the lack of tea making skills in cafes and restaurants. There is an art to it starting with freshly boiled water.

Can't go wrong. Mint hot chocolate and feed the baby whilst we wait for our bus. Staff are friendly and tge drinks are banging. Always think its pricey but tgats not the stores fault.

A nice little place for a cuppa plenty of seats inside and outside, wheelchair accessibility, very easy to get to got all the usual great beverage and snacks but it does run out of stock quickly as it is a busy store

It was a beautiful day so decided to take the seat outside option all the tables had cup marks on my husband asked for a cloth to wipe the table and was given a paper towel he asked to for it to have some cleansing agent put on it or a spray and was given a what a nuisance look off the waitress To be honest the whole place could have had a good clean in and out snd a good sweep up outside such a shame it needs a good manager to sort this place out

I visit this coffee shop about 5 times a week and what makes it stand out are the great staff led by a great manager. Nothing is ever too much.

Staff member on the till on Monday was so grumpy. Ive worked in the hospitality industry for.over ten years and understand it can be demanding But atleast pretend you wanna be there. I am hearing impaired and the eye roll when she had to repeat her self really annoyed me.

Every time I come here I get served by a woman looks miserable.. Doesn’t do my latte right as it supposed 2 have a good full head on the latte… This morning not drinkable as I’ve requested one shot but she put 2-instead it is way strong… not everyone who drinks 2-shots….. Thank goodness I only come here when I meet my friends otherwise I wouldn’t borther as I come from Cardiff….

This recent appears to have been refurbished in recent months. It does look very nice. The overall enjoyment of a coffee on the premises is ruined by the complete failure to address the impact the refurbishment would have on the acoustics. The efforts of the staff in producing in a friendly manner delightful coffee were ruined by the oversight.

What a wonderful experience after the Christmas shopping. The two wonderful ladies behind the counter were warm and welcoming. A nice contrast to the hustle and bustle of the rest of the retail park. I will definitely be returning soon.

Staff are very rude . And not helpful . While I was waiting to order my drink I noticed their wrong attitude not just towards myself but to two different customer who were in front of me . Maybe costa staff should work on how to talk to people .

Today when arriving at Costa I was greeted by rude employees who insisted I do track and trace before joining the queue. Understand that this is policy though the attitude I got from these employees when I was struggling with my children was very disappointing. A single father actually left after I arrived because the track and trace did not work and employees refused help. Not only that but a young couple who seemed to be known by some of the employees waltzed in and was allowed to order without track and trace which I thought was completely unacceptable considering the fuss kicked up when the single father couldn't complete it straight away Going back up to the counter and accidentally forgetting my mask I was greeted by a very rude employee who asked me to put my mask on with unwelcomed attitude, making me feel bellittled. The general attitude and unfriendly atmosphere in this Costa has been getting worse and worse recently and after this, we are never coming back again. Very disappointing service.

Just been to Costa. Have to say I expected better during a pandemic. Track and trace was awkward as the app didn't scan properly. Thankfully the staff member on hand was helpful. Self service is poor. I know all staff need to wear masks but you cannot hear properly over the noise of the coffee machinery. Cakes etc were not clearly labelled. Had to shout to ask what they were. Customers were walking back and forth to collect beverages 😒. Staff weren't leaving sanitising spray on the tables requisite 30seconds before cleaning off. Floor was covered in crumbs and paper wrappings. Poor attitude of staff member on the till. Perhaps there weren't enough staff working which is a management issue and staff cannot be blamed. Won't be rushing back though which is a shame.

Went in as a family of 5 to have a coffee. There are only 5 tables available to sit down and none of them where for 5 people asked if we could put one chair for a 9 year old and they said no. Even thought we would have been more than 5 meter from the nearest table. They have enough space to make more tables available. I understand the precaution but this was extreme. The young girl was apologetic but manager was rude and very unhelpful. This happened in the Costa next door to the beefeater in Talbot Green. This means we are unable to go to our local coffee place to sit down as a family.

Having been a customer of this Costa I must say that the service and atmosphere in this Costa is excellent. The staff are most helpful and pleasant. Nothing is too much trouble .Please don't mistake this Costa for the newly opened one next to Premier Inn.It is dirty and service is nonexistent dishes left on tables and very mucky every where.

This is a great shop and the staff are happy to help in all ways possible but I find if I have the choice I'd prefer to go up the road to the new costa as there is much, much more room to move around with the little one in the pushchair. There are nice outdoor seating here but you obviously have to have the right weather (not too warm with a little one either).

Like the coffee but aircon seems to be in even in winter and it is cold

Excellent coffee shop plenty of choices both in food and drink. Very quick service even when busy. The meal deal between 11am to 2pm excellent value for money £4.95, for a small coffee ham and cheese toastie or panini or pasta type salad and a bag of crisps or piece of fruit. Apple or banana.

Despite it not being busy I waited a long time to be served (10 mins)Whilst waiting another customer brought a smoothie drink back and complained that it wasn't what she ordered.Neither the barista serving or the manager did anything about it and the barista just shrugged her shoulders and the manager threw the drink in the sink.There was no effort to clarify things with this customer who just walked away disgusted.I bet she wont visit there again.
