We received a friendly welcome from Ana and indeed all the the staff gave courteous and friendly service. We enjoyed our meals at the hotel and it proved a good base for walks. Our room was clean and comfortable. We would return.

Compramos algunas fotografías, una antigua y tenía comida increíble y una taza de té encantadora en el mismo lugar. Hay muchas habitaciones para explorar y buscar algo muy especial :).

What a find!!! 5* service with 5* food Clean, fresh, pleasant, tasty, just everything you want from a deli/sandwich shop. Service with a smile. Nestled one road back from the sea front, our food was cooked fresh to order. The coffee is so tasty!! Tom has himself a real jewel here with a good local customer foot fall, so must be consistent. The treats….where do I start…I’m a sweet tooth and big eater….i was sadly defeated! A great sweet tooth selection of homemade cakes and treats. Great visit ~ highly recommend

So guys! I met my friend for a “black coffee” this morning! The beautiful little rat bag had text me, what did I want, I said black coffee - got there to this, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING SW syn free breakfast as a treat! My goodness I can not recommend this place enough! I work in Old Colwyn Pharmacy, and right next door, is my go to ‘naughty’ place to eat! Little did I know, they do a whole lot of SW meals, breakfast and snacks! The spread they use is mega mega low, I never managed the toast as I was so full! The rest is bacon all fat gone - grilled, the best poached egg, tinned toms, beans and here it is - ‘brekkie bubble & squeek’ ❤️ ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! The bubble & squeek is a total game changer! Cabbage, carrots, l tasted like b squash, all fried in fry lite! WHY DIDN’T I think of this? Anyway! I went on to find out - this Jewel in O.C’s Crown always has SW friendly meals! From chilli con carne, the right choice of roast ham, jackets and plenty of other mains - all SW friendly! Give it a go guys! The wonderful lady who owns it has lost plenty of stones herself! An inspiration, and one who supports us all! Thank you Rachel Allen love you guys xxxxx

We chose to have lunch here after finding the tea rooms closed the day before. We were not disappointed! We were warmly welcomed and soon chose our lunch. My son had butternut squash and red onion soup with a turkey panini and I had a welsh cheese and pickle sandwich which came with crisps and salad. The food was well presented, delicious and plenty of it! The coffee was very good too! Although quiet at first the tea rooms started to become busy as we were leaving which was good to see. We also bought some preserves and 2 delicious looking cup cakes to take out. All in all a nice place to eat when in Llangollen.

This great pub was located just around the corner from the holiday cottage we were renting. The dog friendly stickers drew us in and the pub is really dog friendly. The landlord Pete is very friendly and welcoming as were the locals. A great choice of lager and ales and the Sharps cider was good too. A proper pub!

We were practically dragged in off the street, not by the staff but by a customer (whom we knew) , otherwise we probably would have gone elsewhere. Our enforced choice was perfect. lovely snack/lunch - excellent Welsh language service and a local ambience - good value for money. The home made "pwdin reis" (Rice Pudding) looked great but maybe next time. Excellent little cafe. Good choice made on our behalf..!

This is a lovely little coffee shop and it’s Dog friendly indoors too. They have a nice menu which takes allergies/diet preferences into consideration.

Please do not advertise you accommodate gluten free without knowing what you are serving, even more frustrating when the customer politely asks if it’s safe for them to eat. I requested a gluten free salad, it was served with cous cous which I questioned, for the waitress to explain that’s something they were confused about however still continued to put it in front of me for me to eat! From then on no member of staff came to check on us further as I think they knew they were at fault. Appalling service I was left to eat something when I’d questioned it with no reassurance, also questionable if the pickled beetroot was gluten free (barley). Being coeliac isn’t a life choice it’s an autoimmune condition, do a little bit of research

Stayed here for 2 nights. The owners were very friendly, room was clean and although there’s a pub downstairs it wasn’t too loud

Visited today and its had a revamp . New service lift and toilets available upstairs. The food quality is excellent its bright warm and the staff very helpful . No need to go anywhere else to be honest. Maybe the community cafe by the library but thats it.
