Visited today and its had a revamp . New service lift and toilets available upstairs. The food quality is excellent its bright warm and the staff very helpful . No need to go anywhere else to be honest. Maybe the community cafe by the library but thats it.

Si entra por la puerta que venga a la salvación la caridad del ejército y librería. La cafetería está en la parte trasera donde el personal te sirven con una sonrisa y buen servicio. La comida es buenísima y los precios son muy razonables.

we call most weekends into mold and use the salvation army for snacks etc, the staff are very pleasant, excellent service and smashing food. I don't mind clearing the table and leaving it tidy for the next customers, though many people don't,

The Salvation Army Café has such a lovely atmosphere. It does get busy on Market days i.e. Wednesday and Friday but what ever day you visit you are always treated to excellent friendly service from both the Salvation Army Officers and the lay volunteers who are always very welcoming. The Café is well worth a visit, snacks are very reasonably priced and you may even find a bargain in the Charity Shop which is part of the establishment.

The Salvation Army Cafe forms part of the Charity Shop and Drop In and I believe is called the Outreach Centre. When I was a boy, Salvation Army establishments were termed the "Citadel"and female officers wore bonnets. How times have changed! but the ethos remains the same. We visit Mold Street Market 4 or 5 times a year and usually call at the Salvation Army as part of our routine and our next port of call is the car park and then we return home. The Street Market is open on a Wednesday and a Saturday and operates in all weathers. We usually have a snack and refreshments and when the weather is cold we enjoy soup and a roll at the Centre. The place is run by volunteers and the atmosphere is both calming and great. Waitress service is available and it is no effort to clear your table on the way out. The prices are moderate and represent very good value for money. The Salvation Army continues to do God's work at home in Mold and I have supported the organisation from a young age. By faith, we are not Salvationists and this does not matter. Charity begins at home and customers support the Army and get a service in return. I enjoy the background hymn music which can be heard in the establishment. I am tempted to join in and praise the Lord. I am always put in mind of a very happy time of my life and remember the fellowship of Sunday School in Upton-by-Chester. We look forward to our Christmas visit to Mold and the Citadel.

Popped into here a week or so ago to get some food for work. Found the sandwiches to be excellent quality and really tasty. The staff were incredibly friendly. Would definitely buy from again.

Had a lovely day at the museum and decided to end the day with a coffee at ‘The Hatch.’ Had many delicious lunches here in the past. The cafe was surprisingly empty. We ordered two coffees and sat out in the garden. Every table was dirty. I cleaned one myself with wet wipes before the coffee arrived. We waited for 15 minutes. How long does it take to make two coffees? We went inside to find out what was going on. The waitresses had completely forgotten about our order! They were obviously too busy chatting to their friends to take orders or clean tables. No wonder we were the only customers. We told them so and walk out in disgust.

Very friendly staff. Visited last 4 summers. Best steak pies tasted, always brings loads home, for me, best mate and my mum. Then freeze. 35 purchased this year.

Had a lovely lunch with friends in this gorgeous, quirky cafe. Food was delicious, fresh and the cakes, scummy. Definitely recommend a visit, especially if you like art work as there's plenty on display.

Visited Billy Jeans with 13 other friends for my husbands birthday breakfast. Food was excellent, quick service and plenty on the plate. The staff were amazing and even put a birthday candle in his sausage and everyone joined in to sing "happy birthday".
