We went for afternoon tea and we were not disappointed. Lovely selection of freshly made sandwiches and cakes. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely visit again.

Looking for somewhere for afternoon tea and found this little gem off the main street. Had a very nice cream tea, with homemade scone and a yummy salted caramel cupcake too. A good pot of tea as well. Excellent service and it was very reasonably priced….oh, and very clean as well.

We chose to have lunch here after finding the tea rooms closed the day before. We were not disappointed! We were warmly welcomed and soon chose our lunch. My son had butternut squash and red onion soup with a turkey panini and I had a welsh cheese and pickle sandwich which came with crisps and salad. The food was well presented, delicious and plenty of it! The coffee was very good too! Although quiet at first the tea rooms started to become busy as we were leaving which was good to see. We also bought some preserves and 2 delicious looking cup cakes to take out. All in all a nice place to eat when in Llangollen.

Disappointing selection of cakes. Outside seating area was very run down and not well cared for. Would not return or recommend.

Having travelled from Bethesda Gwynedd with the intention of walking the towpath along the canal from Llangollen to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct a distance of 41/2 miles, we decided to stop for Coffee first. As we always try and support independent cafes etc. We found this lovely Tea Room on Oak Street. As it was only 10.00 we found that we were the only customers. We were quickly welcomed by one of the two staff members and invited to sit in any of the set tables. Having studied the menus and being creatures of habit I ordered a ‘Hot’ Flat White whilst my wife had a 1/2 shot Americano. I also ordered one of their tempting Fruit Scones with butter. After a short wait our coffees arrived to our liking together with my scone which turned out to be one of the best I’ve had for some time, freshly baked, soft in the middle and lovely and crispy on the outside. Both ladies were extremely pleasant and keep a lovely tea room which is well worth a visit and definitely a cafe we will visit when visiting Llangollen again. Da iawn.

Gorgeous little tearoom . We had sandwiches and they were lovely. The staff are really friendly and efficient. We went back later to pick up some cakes and they were fabulous. Home made coffee and walnut cake and cupcakes. Would really recommend you visit this cafe which is very near the Hand hotel .

This spot is great for lunch. We enjoyed toasted teacake and cheese on toast. The teacake was very good but the cheese on toast was really, really good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely revisit next time I'm heading this way.

Welcoming & spotlessly clean. We went for coffee (and a great flapjack) and returned for lunch. Our Paninis were generously filled and came with a dressed side salad & crisps. The background music was a 60's classic mix which sparked much nostalgia!

Lovely litle cafe, wonderful friendly welcome and, most importantly, gluten free cupcakes. I opted for salted caramel and they were delicious!

Laura's Tea Room is simply the best and just what Llangollen needed. It's quaint, welcoming, cosy, and more importantly the food is fabulous. We enjoyed lovely butternut squash and pepper soup and beef sandwiches, then gorged on exquisite malteser millionaire shortbread and bakewell tart. Great service and excellent value for money. We thoroughly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Fab lunch today in this cute family run cafe in Rhewl on the way to Ruthin (first left just past Drovers Pub) Small shop area with gifts but mainly a cafe with lots of seating plus outdoor seating overlooking the Clwydian mountain range. Reasonable prices and great lunch and breakfast menu choices. We also noticed an afternoon tea on the table next to us (we asked to take a photo) looked delicious 👏👏. 5/5 👜 handbag cafe review well worth a trip out 👍 Mug Run

I visit here quite regular. They do so many choices and it's so tasty. Made to tour choice and they are a very reasonable price. Would never go to another sandwich bar. My personal favourite is Chinese chicken.

This is now called Boba Geeks Cafe. We went in expecting the usually greasy cafe food with frozen chips . We were pleasantly surprised. Home made chips with sausage, egg and beans all cooked to perfection. The chef uses all fresh ingredients in all his food and does a traditional roast on a Sunday. We paid £21 for 3 meals and 3 drinks which I thought was a real bargain.
