My husband had a full cooked breakfast and I had egg on toast all came hot and cooked well never had long to wait and the service was also good

What a little gem, found this as the local big chain was closed ..the breakfast seemed to be locally sourced... absolutely gorgeous this is just a little business but it had some awards shown and I'm not surprised !

Walked past the place for over a year now but was never open when I passed. Finally I got to eat there today with my family. I had a welsh breakfast, my sister had mushroom rarebit, my niece had a slimmers breakfast and my brother had a vegan breakfast. Lovely little place, great service today 9/1/22. Food took a while but well worth the wait .. we all loved it .. definitely our new place to eat in Prestatyn. ! Thanks Michael from St Helens, Merseyside.

Visited 9.1.22 and ordered the 'vegan full' breakfast. It was perfect. Good choice on the menu. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. Sign about the service in the shop does say 'fresh food, not fast' (or similar as I recall), but well worth waiting for. I will certainly revisit and would highly recommend it. Alan, Merseyside.

On a recent weekend break we noticed that Kim's Kitchen was dog friendly and ventured in. It's a small place but full of character. Bacon baps and coffees were excellent and my dog enjoyed the ham (yes even a wee menu for dogs). It was busy whe we were in and service was quite slow. A young girl was getting some training and the staff were very polite and friendly and it was no problem for us having a slightly longer wait. We went there for breakfast before heading home at the end of our holiday and food was excellent again and staff friendly. Different music selection on different days was a great feature too! A great place to visit when in the area!

Great breakfast, really good value and the Dog’s menu is a fantastic idea. Breakfast was served quickly- staff are very nice and the atmosphere (including the mug shots) made us feel very welcome.

Simply put, one of the best breakfast anywhere in Prestatyn. Me and the husband have been holidaying here for years, and how we have only just stumbled across Kim's is a mystery to both of us. The Welsh breakfast was amazing. Great value for money, delicious and filling. Dog friendly too! Even our staffy Morris loved the bacon and the sausages. Definitely worth a visit.

The atmosphere is just perfect for a chilled homely breakfast/lunch. Never had a perfect full English breakfast until now, the staff are so friendly and love having a laugh. Music choice and decor on point ! (Definitely recommend the large welsh breakfast, chicken and cheese sandwich and dark hot chocolate)

Really friendly and the food was all cooked from fresh, even the coleslaw was made in the kitchen. 5*. They also allow dogs and provide biscuits and water, our dog was thoroughly spoilt. Best place on the high street.

Really enjoyed our Large welsh breakfasts with some extra black pudding. Two sausages, two bacon, two eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomato and two hash browns. Fantastic service and all for £7.95 including toast.

After my reviiew of different premises in high st prestatyn,i could not believe the difference,just by going further up to Kims Kitchen..ordered full welsh breakfast and pot of tea for one,food freshly cooked ,great quality of ingredients,and the cafe was spotless and service and cleaning was 100%...definitely will visit again

This is an excellent place to stop for food and coffee, very friendly and helpful staff and the menu caters for vegetarians which pleases me a lot as some places do not. My husbands breakfast was one of the best I think he had had and the coffee was really tasty and not too strong. And to top it all they are dog friendly, can’t ask for more than that.

Ordered a full welsh traditional breakfast to be delivered to Plas newyyd caravan park, with free local delivery. I was very impressed with the service. The breakfast was delicious!! Great value & a fabulous find. Will definitely be using again. Thank you Geraldene

I love taking my kids to Kim's Kitchen, the staff are lovely and accommodating, the food choices are great, they even give a sausage to my little dog, he loves it there too! Little community boosting projects on the go in there too, so you can buy a coffee for someone who might not be able to afford one but needs the company. A kids colouring wall. A charity book shop. Kim's Kitchen ticks every box. ‍‍

This isn't local for us but we went in Feb 19 so went again last week the food and service are still excellent, friendly helpful staff, tasty filling food what more do you need, oh they even allowed the dog in!Social distancing was well observed too.We called to check opening due to covid just incase.

As soon as I walked in myself and my little lad were greeted and felt so welcome. Further to this the vibes in here are amazing and make you feel so relaxed. PS try the colombian coffee.

After braving the high street towards the end of lockdown we ventured into Kims Kitchen, we were nervous about going inside but the weather was so good we decided on a little cafe culture and sat outside. Their social distancing protocols were in place and it was a pleasure to go there.

We visited here as a family for breakfast- with myself and my son being quite fussy we struggle to find somewhere but Kim’s kitchen was amazing. Good music, accommodating and the the best Welsh rarebit I’ve ever had!

I had the large Welsh breakfast and it was gorgeous. Everything done to perfection, and not greasy at all. Very friendly staff.Dog friendly which was great. Good price for what you get too. I'll be popping back next time I'm in Prestatyn.

Welcoming atmosphere, good food, and opportunity to talk without wifi intrusion, yeah! Located on the high street which has lost many customers to the local retail park, it is unassumingly charming and wholesome. Recommend it whenever I can.

We choose the Rarebit, one hog and one with the poached eggs, well both were top notch, I usually say that things are alright, but on this occasion it was spot on, cant fault a nice cafe on the Hight Street, and this is what community is all about,

This was our first visit to Kim's Kitchen and it certainly won't be our last. My partner had the omlette with chips and I decided to have the vegan breakfast for a change, good sized portions, very tasty and reasonably priced. The lady waiting on was lovely and chatty. Will be calling here again next time we pop into Prestatyn.

This is a modern eatery that we found on the last day of our stay in Prestatyn. The cafe prides itself on its high quality breakfasts and I can confirm that they’re delicious. They cater for vegans with an imaginative take on the full Welsh using Linda MCartney sausages, a lightly fried vegetable medley, hash browns, mushrooms, beans and tomatoes and fresh granary bread. The waitress obligingly stepped out to get some soya milk for a great flat white using freshly ground Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. My wife enjoyed her full traditional Welsh breakfast. Warm, friendly and welcoming. Lots of photos and interesting pictures on the wall, a good music policy and seemingly dog friendly too judging from some adorable puppy eyes unobtrusively peeking out from under an adjacent table. I’m delighted to see businesses like this in Prestatyn. Great vibe, lovely place. It deserves to do well. Highly recommended. Vegan friendly. Good quality ingredients. Full five stars.

I came here for the first time for lunch with family and it's one of the best cafes I've been to. I had the jacket potato with tuna and it was cooked perfectly and came quite fast considering it was busy. Also, the waitress who served us was very friendly. I would definitely come back again.

Popped in for lunch on a sunday, had a gorgeous sandwich full of filling with oe of the nicest side salads ever, the dressing was lovely and the tomatoes, proper tasty. The coffee is good too, service was excellent with nice friendy staff. We have a caravan nearby and will definitely be visiting again

Spare ribs in honey were over cooked and hard plus couldn’t see or taste the honey? and Singapore chow mien was bland , wasn’t very impressed to be honest

As a coeliac I find it hard to find plan as to eat easily but found this gem while on a day in prestatyn. There gluten free options are very good and we devoured egg on toast hungrily as they we lovely. Bread very fresh and not overrated and eggs perfect. Soya milk also given for intolerance and a vanilla chai tea rounded off the experience. Yummy. Lovely pleasant staff and smiles which can be rare to find these days.

I have been visiting Prestatyn for 4 years. We have tried numerous places for breakfast. We have often walked by Kim's kitchen and always say we should try there.

Parked on the high st further up than the church and spotted this place across the street. Well worth crossing over the road, starting or finishing Offa’s dyke long distance path ? Food is worth the walk! Word of caution.. no toilets.

My better half and I had planned on a trip back to Prestatyn for the day, a place I’ve loved since spending long summer breaks there as a kid over 35 years ago (ye gods). However, having a pooch in tow, we needed to find somewhere dog-friendly, and reviews on TA drew us to Kim’s Kitchen. What an absolute and utter gem!

We have always rated Kim's kitchen as one of the best,but following our visit for breakfast today I'm afraid to say it's going down hill. The state of the sauce bottle on the table was enough to put you off. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast, well when it arrived my husband and myself both said at the same time "what's that" the egg was scarce to say the least. My husband ordered the large breakfast and when that arrived at the table it was obviously not right as there was only one egg and hash brown, the waitress was told and an extra egg and hash brown were bought out on a small plate.So on reflection would I go again ? To be honest only if Standards improved. Shame really as we always looked forward to going, especially as you can take your dog in and they provide a sausage for the dog.

How nice to find a truly dog friendly café with great well-presented human food and friendly service. The dog was made most welcome and given treats and a sausage so she gives it 5 stars as well!

Honest review!!... We have spent the past few months going to places trying out breakfasts on a Sunday, we always end up back at Kim's after a couple of weeks. The service is always great, the food is lovely, although I have only had a full breakfast (middle sized, as could never finish the huge one, and bacon and egg sandwiches (to die for!!), as I can't seem to order anything else due to the fact they are both so nice, also, cures the hangovers!!, always cooked to your liking (i'm a lover of well done bacon) just request when ordering and it's taken care of. Lovely little place and very friendly staff. Never had a problem and well deserved awards. The menu is simple, not discouraging, with family favorites and nothing is too much trouble. Music to suit everyone's taste, young or old. If you like a warm, comfortable atmosphere with fantastic food, then i would mark this as the best place in Prestatyn!!.........never tried the take away option but happy to wait for such delicious food (may try it next week) Well done to each and every member of staff and will be back very very soon (again!). Also, need to say that the pricing is spot on. Not overwhelming and have always been pleased with portion sizes and value. No wi-fi means people talk, which is lovely, an escape from the digital world and takes me back to the days where I started my career in a cafe (now William Morgans). Waited just over half an hour for a takeout of two sausage egg and mushroom baps. The cafe wasn’t even busy so could not understand why I had to wait so long upon asking was told they would be another 5 minutes. Yet they were all in the back chatting away!! Never have I waited so long for a takeout anywhere!!!

I attended Kim’s Kitchen on Saturday 22nd June, around lunch time. All of the female staff were lovely, really polite and genuine young girls. Considering it was very busy in the cafe each of them attended each table with a smile and impeccable manners. I just wish I could say the same for the chef, he was a stocky man with a stubbly beard. As the cafe is a snug room, my friends and i could hear the chef and every word he was saying. He called the girls up to the pass and proceeded to shout at them (for what reason I do not know as the girls were all lovely and gave fast service) he said to one of them to not come into his kitchen and try and take over his job and to stop chatting to customers. They came back down from the kitchen and one of them looked as if she was going to break down into tears. Even though she had dealt with this verbal abuse she still came and took my food once I was finished with a smile. Another young girl was shaking not long after she left work also.

Kim's is a solid value. Our server was friendly and very helpful. Nice upbeat 70 music the day that I visited. The restaurant is bright and cheerful.

A lovely little cafe in the town, dog friendly which is nice to see. Breakfast was delicious, very generous portions and presented well. I particularly enjoyed my ‘Slimmers breakfast’, the less naughty version of the traditional breakfast. Friendly service 👍

Dog friendly little cafe on the main street, our dog was welcome and given a sausage. I ordered mushroom rarebit, which was a huge portion with salad and very good. Vegetarian options on the menu. It's a small cafe with no customer toilets, but well worth a visit with your dog for breakfast or lunch.

This is a lovely cafe with friendly staff and it's so reasonably priced. My partner had an English breakfast and it did look lovely- not at all greasy or fatty. I had delicious, thick toast. The staff are really lovely people.

Kim’s Kitchen is a smart little cafe with retro-style booth seating. The menu is typical of the genre and consists of breakfasts, variations on the toastie theme, sandwiches, jacket potatoes etc., and it all looks very good.

Found this by chance as we where in the area and needed a dog friendly Cafe.

After a cold walk to the top of the High Street it was lovely to find this cosy cafe. On this occasion we only had coffee but the latte was large and tasty. The staff were all very friendly and our four legged friend was given a sausage. The meals being served at other tables looked lovely. A great little place would recommend.

Had a cappo and a bacon and tomato toastie. Best I’ve ever had. Plenty of crispy bacon lovely warm sliced tomato and brown grained bread lovey presented staff are smiling and generally lovely shame it’s not a bigger Premises I will defo be recommending to friends colleagues and family xxx well done

Kim's kitchen is s really lovely cafe at the top of prestatyn high street. Staff are really friendly, beautiful art on the walls and let's be honest, Absolutely fabukiys goid. Breakfast is beautiful to look at and amazing to eat, reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.

Excellent local cafe specialising in breakfasts and friendly service. Great choice of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free (perfect for someone like me) as well as the more traditional cooked breakfasts. Nice range of teas and coffee including milky coffee which reminded me of childhood along with the more expected lattes et al.

Veggie breakfast and a normal full English. Both cooked perfectly, no grease and plenty of it. Great veggie option too. Will be coming back!

Visited here for lunch with family. The menu is really good. Plenty of choice and reasonably priced. I had the chicken ciabatta which was lovely, will definitely be back again! The only downside is there are no toilets for customers and it’s very small so limited opportunity to get a table.

We stayed in Prestatyn for a week last year, on our last day, we stumbled across this little cafe, and what a little gem it was! I would go all the way back to Prestatyn just to come to this cafe! Myself, my girls and my mum all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here, it's only small but such a lovely place, by the sounds from us sitting there she got some regular customers which is always good. The food hot, well presented, plenty of it and she was so chatty with us yet left us to our breakfast, this place is fab!

Visitamos hoy para un bocado rápido para comer. Tuve una patata chaqueta, que sólo puede ser descrito como hermoso. Cocinado a la perfección y tan bien presentado que era casi demasiado bonito para comer! Mi marido tiene un gran desayuno, que de nuevo estaba muy bien presentado y muy sabroso. Así que ir a algún lugar que jive no olor a comida frita cuando entras, comida en lugar delicioso. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Pensamos que aquí una prueba, ya que en el pasado tan a menudo. Yo tenía una lasaña que disfruté, mi marido tenía una hamburguesa y patatas fritas y dijo que estaba mal! Bien para un almuerzo rápido pero nada en cuanto a la decoración especial.

If you are in Prestatyn call at Kim's kitchen. It is a small cafe located in the main high street, serving lovely home made meals and all day breakfasts. Nothing is too much trouble. I had dog and daughter in tow and they were able to veganise the all day breakfast for me with LindaMcCartney sausages and added chips. Well I was very hungry. Daughter had plenty of choice too, but she just wanted sandwiches for lunch. Superb meals and they also deliver locally as well. They brought our dog water and some chicken to nibble on. Top marks again and highly recommended.

Popped into Kim's Kitchen for lunch recently. We had a pot of tea. Dad had ham, egg and chips and I had Linda McCartneys sausages, chips and beans. Service was prompt and the food nice and hot. Always worth popping in.

We always check the plate first before eating and this place gets 5 stars for that alone.Then the service and the breakfast get another 5 stars in my book, all locally sourced produce and served piping hot.Nice coffee also. The waitress was also very friendly and welcoming.

My dad loves having an all day breakfast and Kim's Kitchen hit the mark. Located in Prestatyn High Street within 100 metres of free car parking and 30 minutes on-street parking nearby. Kim's Kitchen is small and cosy, decorated in plum and green with lovely local photos on display. There is seating for two outside. Dogs are welcome inside.The menu has hearty food available, various all day breakfasts, specials including veggie curry and mixed bean chilli. Dad had the large breakfast, which included eggs, bacon, sausage, hash brown, beans, toast. There is a small, belly buster and veggie version available. I'm vegan and the mixed bean chilli suited fine, I asked for granary bread instead of garlic bread and it was served with chips. It was all hot and tasty. There are scones, flapjacks, toast, sandwiches etc, the meal portions are generous and tasty.

I have visited here many many times, the breakfasts are amazing and very good quality. The lunch menu is like that what you'd get in a pub that serves home cooked food but at cafe prices. The lasagne and chilli are soooo good! A good menu, fabulous food, great prices, very friendly staff and a light enjoyable atmosphere could not find one fault

There are quite a few cafes in Prestatyn. I have been to this one twice now and it will certainly be my new regular! It is very welcoming and the little booths are comfortable and reassuringly old fashioned. The menu is very good with a bit more imagination than most cafes. In particular there is a good range of vegetarian options for a change. The small veggie breakfast is excellent and even offers a choice of two different veggie sausages! Certainly worth a try, especially for a freshly cooked breakfast.
