Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. They offered a full vegetarian breakfast, with vegetarian haggis, two different vegetarian sausages and bacon! Wonderful!

Moonwake is a cool place and that's my first tip. Tip: It gets cold here, even under the heat lamps but bring a coat and come anyway. This is a review of the Moonwalk Taproom. Yeah, there's a brewery here and from those clean and shiny vats come some great tasting, local and craft beer. But what else can I say about the brewery? I suppose I could say that the open entrance space has been used for a local pop up market and it was petite but fun. There were just a few stalls but each one was local, quality and good. The main reason, unless you want to look at shiny vats, to visit is the taproom. The taproom is up a flight of stairs, is on a balcony and overlooks the brewery. Isn't that a great place to enjoy freshly poured pints? Staff here are friendly and since they make the beer on offer are way more involved than some city centre franchise clone. You can meet the owners here. Order at the bar or at the table. I've talked through what I feel like and have had recommendations. Tip: Moonwake is a local treasure, isn't huge so you can strike out and turn up when there are no free tables. Consider getting in touch if you want to bring the office or a group of friends. Pizza! For at least half the time I've been drinking here there's been a deal with Pizza Geeks. That's a brilliant local pizzeria. Use their app to do an "at table" order. Frankly, beer from the brewery served with freshly made pizza carried over the bridge from the local restaurant is amazing. Tip: Follow Moonwake on social media. They're lovely, transparent, informative and it's the best place to keep up with their latest brews and events. I'm a fan but I'm yet to try their e-commerce offer. If I buy a crate of their beer then I'd drink it! What a delightful little place , I liked you can be sitting at a table but not too close to anyone else , food was very good , nice friendly staff , would love to go back when it’s colder and the log stove is on …

Great wee place A local hidden gem 💎

Seems like a great place. Website, menu, front of the shop. A shame that the system allowed us to book a reservation but the place is still not open. My friends and I arrived after the theatre to a closed door with a sign of “coming soon”.

Staff always friendly and helpful food always fresh and delicious and cream tea excellent to share with friends for a catch up

Arbroath Smokie chowder and firecracker cauliflower…. Delicious

Lovely homemade scones and in a relaxed atmosphere. Plenty on street parking nearby.

Dropped on for a decent glass of wine - would recommend.

Nice little Caffe with wonderful service and good food. Gluten free options available. Coffee itself could be improved a bit.

Has such a good meal here. We were looking for something in the area that had something other than the standard pub fare. I was a bit surprised when we pulled in and it was just a little spot attached to a small golf club house. Nothing fancy at all. But what it lacks in ambiance it makes up for with the food. My wife and I had the shepherds pie and it was so good. We would definitely go back if we are in the area again !

We went for lunch and felt very welcome. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Lentil soup was good, just the side bread could be changed for the roll. I had a bruscheta without avocado due allergy. But they forgot😔. So I removed one star for rating.

Gorgeous little winery! Had a fantastic time with my friends here enjoying amazing cheese, wine and cocktails. It has a warm, cosy atmosphere and great service from the lovely owners. Would 100% recommend! :D

Tiny hidden away place. Park for free outside the door and get inside. I've never been to a place that sells food and has a full gym right next to where you eat. I love pumping a bit of iron so it doesn't bother me but I've just never seen this setup before. As far as gym equipment goes it's all the proper Olympic bars and decent racks, only 8 quid a session. Anyway back to the food. Quite a large menu to choose from but be aware there are only like 2 tables if you are sitting in. Food was all fine nothing mind blowing but fine. Would come back to hit the iron maybe.
