Incredible cosy little wine bar. The host was so friendly and knows his stuff. If only there were wine bars in other cities like this.

We were in on New Year's Day & it was very nice indeed. A delicious meat & cheese platter along with an excellent bottle of Rose, followed by a nice drink, finished off what was a lovely 2 hours.

Lovely sharing platter and delicious wine. Really hospitable staff but ….. it was really freezing. We asked staff if they could please put the heating on as our Beaujolais was chilled as were we. They were very obliging but a shame they had not done this earlier. As consequence we left early. Further to this I should say the owner has now personally phoned us to apologise-A very nice gesture and we look forward to our next visit.

Stayed in Inverness for a couple days, and this was the highlight of eat/drink vibes so much my group went both evenings. Cozy, quiet, and chill with lovely staff, great drinks, and delicious cheese platters (alright that one stinky cheese was *too* stinky for our group). Options on options for wine, whisky, beer, cider, and low-no alcohol. If I lived in Scotland anywhere, I’d be a regular. Would love to come back!

We were so delighted and warmly welcomed at the Walrus and Corkscrew that we visited twice in one week. Don't miss it for great whisky, wine, beer, ciders and local cheeses. Excellent GF biscuits.

Stumbled upon this gem while on a walk with my partner and dog. We were looking for some light dinner and drinks and this was perfect! They were extremely dog friendly and my pup even got some cheese! The place is lovely, welcoming, and friendly. The food and drinks were great. We got the meat platter, a bottle of wine, a sherry flight, and a glass of sherry. The staff was extremely busy but they were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

My favourite place in inverness. The wine list is extensive and the local cheese and meat platters complement them well. Very small so be sure to book ahead.

En primer lugar, nunca he puesto un pie en este punto de venta, pero mi esposa compró un vale de regalo de ellos en agosto. NO le dieron una tarjeta de regalo. Ella asumió que el recibo con un número de tarjeta era el comprobante. Sin embargo, cuando el destinatario trató de utilizar, se les negó insistiendo en que se tenía que presentar una tarjeta de regalo. No estoy seguro de cómo se podría producir uno cuando nunca se entregó en el lugar de una calle. Mi esposa incluso aconsejó la fecha de compra y la hora aprox. No pudieron encontrar esa compra en su caja. Mi pregunta sería ¿qué pasó con el dinero? Mi consejo, NO compres vales regalo de este punto de venta. Yo, por mi parte, ciertamente nunca pondré un pie en las instalaciones.

It was fine ! The wine was lovely and meat/cheese board was delicious, slightly overpriced in my opinion for what you got. Service wasn't great, one waiter in particular was inattentive and cold with customers. Nice for something different, not sure id go back

We happened upon this gem. Oh how I wish there was this in my town. The wine is divine and the cheeses or meat paired are perfect. Thank you to the young man who severed us and the owner who chatted with us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If you want to briefly feel like you're in France in Scotland, come here. Good wines and delicious cheese platter. Big minus point: The service. A waiter seemed very unmotivated/indifferent and, for example, picked us up without explanation while we were still in the middle of eating. That's not professional. It's a shame because it makes this place a little less beautiful!

Arrived on September 13th at 8.00 pm the waiter sat us down, we ordered while we were waiting the owner came to us rudely asking who had seated us. They served us what we asked for without cutlery or towels, when we asked the owner he responded rudely. We paid and even though the owner didn't even greet us, keep in mind that there were only three tables left so the holiday in Inverness began. 'I was just waiting.

The meat & cheese platter were outstanding and Finley you are the best....you went out of your way to take excellent care on seven boisterous Americans...thank you so much

Warm and friendly owner and we were lucky to get a comfortable table with a bench decorated with colourful cushions and a rug. Plenty to tempt us from the wine list and we enjoyed our bottle of red very much. A small business owned by someone who cares and has made a very cosy and enjoyable spot to while away a few hours with friends over a decent glass of wine.

Our family of 7 came here for a drink and a snack before dinner and Fin took great care of us! The wine and ciders were all excellent, and the meat and cheeses were to die for. This is a perfect place to grab a quick drink/bite, or to have a few and chit chat for a while. We'll be recommending this to all of our friends back in the states who come to Inverness!

Sat outside on a beautiful sunny day, and 4 of us shared the meat, cheese, and bread board, with some extras. It was exceptional!!!!

This place is in great location on a little back street near the river. Cosy, comfy interior with lots of wine around! Checked out the wine list and it's vast and awesome. We drank a few glasses of cremant 🥂 - divine. Definitely will go back the next time I'm working in Inverness. 💯

Charming restaurant that offers “Spanish food” or Catalan because they have products of Catalan origin such as Perelló olives, Penedés wine, salted almonds… We hadn't booked and it was quite full but they kindly gave us a table on the terrace. They present the dishes with taste and the quantity is adequate. We ordered the cheese board, olives, anchovies and bread with oil and modena vinegar All delicious, although instead of anchovies they were anchovies in vinegar and there they call them anchovies. It's not cheap but it's worth it. Especially for us, after several days eating fried foods and hamburgers, we wanted something lighter and with the taste of home. If you go to Inverness we recommend you try it. And very close there is a great ice cream shop to make dessert!

Delicious platters of cold meats and cheeses, excellent wines (we tasted a Greek wine and a Portuguese wine), the place is very warm and the music is good. And the welcoming service. In short, we highly recommend, for a glass of wine and a plate, peacefully, in the heart of Inverness.

We were really looking forward to a return visit with friends; we had booked a table for 4 for 7pm, outside if the weather was nice. Mix up over booking time ( their mistake, had us down for 6pm ) meant that we had to sit inside on a lovely summers evening and the much anticipated wine flights were not available? It states on the wine list that the last flight leaves at 22.00hrs! It wasn’t that busy at the time so unsure what the reason was, young inexperienced staff perhaps, we were told not enough glasses! We ordered a cheese platter for 4 people and were presented with 16 small pieces of cheese and a basket of bread for £52. Apparently you have to request butter and chutney which we did and were presented with a little pot of each, insufficient for 4 people. Requested another which was given. The cheese selection was however delicious but first impressions are so important. Not the experience we had been looking forward too, hence disappointing!

Beautiful little wine bar with a great selection of wine and a lovely setting. The tables outdoors overlook the church and are perfect for enjoying a glass of wine on a sunny day.

We were so looking forward to visiting here. Booked a few days in advance & absolutely loved it. Great team, service was fab! Ordered bread and olives, they were so good! Lovely wines,pity we couldn't stay longer! We will definitely return.

We visited on a Monday, just before we headed off along the Caledonian Canal. We sat downstairs as this area is dog friendly. The staff were very welcoming and made a huge fuss of our dog, who was equally delighted with all the attention. A great wine list. We often find as a couple we like different wines and the diverse wine list made this easy, even by the glass. We had a lovely mixed fish platter with bread, olives etc, with a glass of albarino and chardonnay. The bar was quite quiet but a few other tourists wandered in and it felt buzzy for a Friday. Whilst deciding on the next wine to try we were presented with a bowl of strawberries on the house, to go with the cheese board, we had later ordered. More wine and more strawberries followed. We chatted to the owner and staff andvhad a great evening. Thoroughly recommend this quirky little wine bar!

A cozy bar with wonderful wine selections. I came around Bastille Day and they had some delicious French wines on special. We also tried a cheese plate and every single cheese on it was exceptional. It as nice to find such interesting flavor beyond the basic/usual selections. Highly recommend!

My wife and I came here on both of our nights in Inverness before dinner. It’s a great little spot for drinks and snacks if you’re anywhere around Church Street. Fantastic wine selection and tasty cheese boards. Highly recommend.

LOVED our cheese board and meat board. Lovely selection of both meats and cheeses (some local), accompanied by delicious bread. Lots of add-one available if you’d like. Also tried their tasty scotch eggs! Attentive owner.

A wonderful place we walked by while visiting Inverness. Great selection of wines, and spirits all in a lovely setting with a fun and interactive staff. I even bought the last hat with their cool logo.

What an amazing diamond is this place! Discrete et almost hidden just before the renowned Leakeay’s bookshop, they offer a stunning wine and spirits list coming from all around the world, the whole accompanied by a well garnished cheese platter. The personnel is friendly and welcoming, truly “scottishly”. Highly recommended!

It's a real wine bar, ideal for an aperitif on the other hand, the waiter said it himself, he only knows the wines well. The bottled beer is served directly (I had to ask for the bottle again to see it)

Great service and gorgeous Portuguese wine on Saturday night, really good olives and the smoked almonds are far too moreish. Back in on Sunday for a couple of large Pinotage and more almonds. Wonderful atmosphere and staff, Rob the owner is very friendly love the descriptions in the wine bible!

My partner doesn’t drink wine and is catered for just as much with his endless choices of whiskey as well. Small kind of wine bar that serves cheese platters and scotch eggs. Seating is shared so we were on the same table as another couple and it was only the four of us in the place. Cheese platter was delicious and served with sour dough bread. 2 drinks, a sharing platter with a scotch egg was £47.

I've lived in Inverness most of my life but somehow never heard of this place! However, it's lovely. Staff were very friendly and excited when asked for recommendations. Excellect and massive wine list, something for everyone! Very small, so do book ahead! Overall, it was a great experience and will be back. Definitely recommend.

Hugely disappointed to see that this place has joined the queue in prioritising profit over people. Used to be a favourite spot with evident care in attention to detail. Lovely friendly staff member appears to have left and with him the hallmark quality we’d come to expect. Recent visits have seen micro portions of cheese, hunks of dry bread thrown haphazardly, no more serving of butter, chutney, gherkins, oil and vinegar. No more description of the cheese. Frankly £60+ for a pile of dry bread, salami and small morsels of cheese with a glass of wine is pretty scandalous. Fitting in perfectly with rip off little britain. Don’t waste your money.

We popped in whilst wandering round the town. It looked interesting and unlike most places dog friendly. We chose some wine to try..... Great selection one of which was so good we bought a bottle to takeaway. We shared a platter of local smoked meats delicious and great portion size...The smoked goose was incredible. Great little place.. Empty when we were there but I imagine great ambiance when a little busier. We will definitely visit again next time we are passing... In fact it's worth a detour.

Andre gangen satt vi inne da det regnet og hadde wine flight og sharing platter med røkt kjøtt og ost. Deilig mat og fantastisk god vin! Hyggelig betjening som hjelper deg å finne vin som passer til din gane og til maten du bestiller. Absolutt verdt et (eller flere) besøk!

Dropped in here the other day, the range, quality and diversity of the wine is amazing you are spoilt for the choice. The platters were delicious and the team incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Definitely a place to pop into for any wine lover.

Fantastic collection of delicious, ecellent wine (red, white, rosé, prosecco, champaign, etc). A little bit one the more exclusive side, however, perfect for special occasions. They also provide a nice selection of food (fingerfood, sides) that go well with the drinks. In summer, sitting outside is preferrable since indoors it can get quite warm.

Sehr freundlich, super Auswahl an Getränken (speziell Wein, aber auch Bier und Spirituosen). Wir hatten auch noch eine kleine Platte mit Leckereien. Alles super!

One of the best wine spots in Scotland and a fabulous little oasis in the heart of Inverness. The wine list is outstanding , these folks have a passion for wine & cheeses and it shows! A top recommendation for all my guests that visit this Highland Capital!

Wine and cheese so nice, I went twice. They have a great wine list (and other drinks) and a good selection for flights. Even if you know nothing about wine like me, they well help you find something you like. Their bread and cheese are also great. They have some other food items that looked good (scotch egg and smoked countryside platter) but they didn't have any when I went, so be sure to keep in mind that some of their items run out, and that they don't always have room for walk-ins; it is a smaller place. The one downside is that if you're off in a corner table, you do seem to be forgotten a bit. There were times when I wanted to order another glass of wine, but no one was around for like, 20 or 30 minutes.

Hier moet je echt heen als je een stop maakt in Inverness! Geweldige wijnkaart en heerlijke kaasplank. Daar waren we echt aan toe na onze tweewekelijkse wildkampeervakantie in de campervan.

A must visit while in Inverness! They have a beautiful and expansive wine selection as well as whiskey and beer for the non wine drinkers. The charcuterie boards are amazing. We got a single cheese and a single meat and was able to split it between 4 people. The place is small but so cozy. It was the perfect spot to relax and get away from the more crowded restaurants.
