Lovely place for coffee and cake at any time, but especially on a wet and windy afternoon

Love this little cafe. The location is spectacular, with incredible views of the Assynt mountains. The coffee is excellent! The breakfasts are great and their soups and toasties too. I really can't recommend Elphin Tearooms enough. All the cakes are handmade in house.

Fantastic spot with tasty food! The food is simple but made well. Their homemade bread is so good! The staff are so friendly, I’d recommend stopping in!

One of the best coffees I've had in a while and my personality favourite cake was the blueberry porridge slice. If you bring your own travel cup, coffee to go (red cup and not red cup - if you know you know 😉 )

Little gem we came across on our way back from knockan crag, staff lovely food and coffee also lovely. And some one off arty pieces to pick up which my wife did lol. Just watch out for the chickens when you’re parking

Had a lovely lunch with my wife today . We both had cheese toasties with salad .( loved the coleslaw. I had potato and leek soup and wife had lentil and bacon . Rounded off with coffee , tea and ginger cake . Was better than most restaurants iv been . Loved the food and will put it on my goto list when I'm back up . We'll done 10/10

Lovely little place to visit for refreshments. In a great location with outside tables where you can watch the sheep and lambs.

Lovely little coffeeshop and tea house in the heart of the NC500 road in the Scottish Highlands, with a little animal farm by the side in a familial ambience. It's a very cozy place, that warms your heart with the views, the peace and the nice people that receive you. Had a cappuccino that tasted like heaven. Not cheap, but it is isolated, so nothing different was expected.

Really great cafe with delicious cakes and coffee. Really friendly welcome and sat outside next to the sheep and lambs. Small range of lovely gifts also on sale and I bought some wool made from the sheep on the croft. Would highly recommend this place if you are passing by.

What a stunning find! Elphin Tearoom was an accidental find whilst travelling in the area to see Elphin Bothy. Just stepping through the door it was clear we were going to have delicious, hearty, home cooked food and cake with a fantastic service. It did not disappoint! We had soups, toasties, scones, cakes and coffee - absolutely delicious 😋 Absolute must if you are visiting or passing through, or better yet - make it your destination!

I didn’t expect to find such good speciality coffee and delicious cakes and warm food. Everything is handmade at the café and the staff is super friendly. Definitely recommend to stop there if you’re on the road!

The best scone, cream and jam that I've ever had! Great service, and amazing picturesque location.

Brilliant wee spot for lunch, unfortunately my soup (potato and leek) was a bit bland. But my husband enjoyed his cheese and onion toastie. The owners' granddaughters were doing the service that day and were brilliant.

Lovely chatty staff who stayed open for us as we called at the end of the day. Would definitely call again if we were in the area.

What a little gem this cafe is. We just stopped off for some afternoon tea and cake. Superb little cafe with lovely views over the surrounding mountain's and hills. The tea, chocolate and beer cake and walnut cake was lovely. Friendly helpful staff and could not fault anything about this cafe. The best cafe we have found while on the North Coast 500 and touring around.

Lovely tea room located in the small village of Elphin. Coffee and cakes were fantastic. Nice vlean restrooms. Lovely selection of local handmade products and art.

We driven past this tea room over the years, until today when we decided it was the place to go, anywhere else was extra. Good value, just baked scones, that pleased my wife, excellent home made plum jam, toasted sandwiches were a treat, people talking who've never met, the Highlands brings the best in people out. Very clean toilet's. The pictures are views from the car park.

Great little find on the NC500. It is clean and fresh with delicious homemade soups and cakes. We had soup, toasties and cake, all delicious. Clean toilets and friendly staff. They also sell some craft items and best of all some amazing lamb produce in the freezer.

Best tea room in the area, have been regularly visiting since living in Ullapool. Awesome staff, their fresh scones are the best!!

Lovely friendly team, especially Virginie. The quiche and toasties were wholesome and tasty. The quiche was very definitely homemade and as a result tasted amazing. Stunning location surrounded by Lochs and mountains.

A delightful stop on our cycling tour of Scotland. On a very hot day we climbed from Ullapool and could not have been happier to see the sign! The staff were very welcoming and offered complimentary and refreshing cold water to add to our orders of coffee and cake. The selection of cakes was excellent, the environment comfortable. All in all, a very happy experience - thank you.

We stopped on route for a cuppa and cake. Hubby enjoyed the ginger cake and I tried a plain scone with cream & jam. Honestly the best scone I've had (including the ones I tried in Devon). A lovely cafe with some great views and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Toilets on site were clean and I also picked up a couple of beautiful fridge magnets.

We visited today & what a lovely little place this is for lunch, spotlessly clean, great food served by happy, lovely people..beautiful quiet location..but what stood out the most was the young lad helping his mum, he cleared tables, bought our food/coffee to the table, impeccable manners & a really happy kid. Thank you for it all..you made our day. 🥰 Highly reccommend.

Once again, amazing scones and coffee. Lovely crafts and now has frozen meats for good prices. We bought venison stir fry and it was wonderful. Unfortunately they have limited opening days due to Brexit staff shortages. Check website.

Wow. The homemade food here is incredible. The owners are so friendly. We popped in for a coffee yesterday but ended up eating breakfast there and taking away cake which was honestly, the best cake I have had and I eat a lot of cake! Delicious coffee and homemade food in a lovely tearooms with a fire and a view, what more could you ask for!

Best flat white coffee I have had in Scotland ...with a mouthwatering choice of fresh homemade cake enjoyed beside a lovely warm log burner. Could not be any better.

A very good coffee & cake spot en route from Ullapool east towards Bonar Bridge. Spacious car parking, a friendly welcome and delicious cakes. You can also pick up local crafts & cards here, play games or read if you need to stay for a while. Clean facilities, a welcome stop

Lovely place. Such a shame it doesn't come up in google maps when searching for restaurants, I found it by accident while driving around.

We happened to be driving past and saw the signs. This is a friendly tea room in a fabulous location. The young woman who served us was charming. The carrot and walnut cake was super and the Scottish brew tea spot on. It was a sunny day so we could sit outside watching deer roam the hillside, buzzards hovering and cute lambs nearby.

Loved the Elphin Tearoom. Great simple food, brilliant coffee, nothing pretentious, watched the new born lambs in the field while we ate our food, was better than TV , great to chat with Helen the owner and buy some local produce. Will definitely be back there next time we're up. Thank you.

Really great coffee and tea. Awesome fresh baked scones with lovely cream - would have easily been 5 star if jam as good (rather than little plastic individual portions). Brilliant location and feel to the place. Cakes also looked really good too.

I like the outdoor seating. Friendly service. Toilet and decent parking. Reasonable price. We always stop on the way to Ullapool.

We happened on this little gem on our road trip from Ullapool to Helmsdale. The coffee and homemade cake and scone were all lovely and the staff were friendly. Well recommended if you happen to be passing this way.

Unexpected little treat while driving through the Highlands. Friendly service, delicious cakes and a fantastic view from the picnic tables outside. Also a wee shop selling knick-knacks and I also think they offer some basic groceries for sale (I was too busy eating my cake to notice so not sure what they have!)

Very nice place to visit for a drink and cake also has a small gift shop within the building, sat outside and watched a small herd of red deer on the hillside behind the cafe and also a Golden Eagle soaring high in the sky. Definitely visit again when passing
