Nice place but overrated, people not very friendly. We preferred the old deli on the other side of the road.

We came from Portugal to Scotland and found a vegan place that suited our style 5 days later in Fort William. We made sure we came back the next morning and had no regrets. What an incredible and essential place in the world 🌍 Wonderful staff, a very well-designed space. A dream in the heart of Fort William. Lovely little cafe 5 min.walk from the station. Very good food and great value for money. I had a red pepper / veg soup with some bread followed by amazing flat white (even asked about their coffee beans) and coffee&walnut cake. Friendly service and clean place. Would highly recommend.

This is the cutest little cafe! The coffee is great and the saag aloo pasty was incredible! They have an extensive breakfast menu and lots of great baked-goods. Really loved spending a morning here. The staff are so kind!

First time back since 2019! If in the area worth a stop. Still awesome!! :) lovely little cafe that has an excellent selection of goodies. With good vedgi selection! Turmeric and beat root lattes are excellent! Can’t go wrong with a date slice or red velvet cake.

Came in after travelling up from Norfolk we had the lemon cake and a scone with jam it was amazing subtle flavours and really tasty we also had a decaf tea which was the best tasting tea we've had since arriving in Scotland we also had a beetroot latte which was so unusual the taste was creamy and earthy and tasted really good the price was very reasonable and definitely recommend going here if your in the area will be back again soon xx staff where friendly and helpful

While it appeared like a lovely shop, the staff were SO awkward, as if they didn’t want you to be there. With not a smile in sight, you’d think they were doing you a favor serving you at all. Definitely dampened the mood so we left right after getting our coffees.

Ummm, WOW! A vegans DREAM! Everything is vegan. The staff are fantastic. Barista was incredible. They have a decent selection of clean, vegan, eco friendly (seep, loofa co) etc food and household products, as well as gifts. Love this place and highly recommend.

Very nice surprise in Fort William! Tea-Room-pastries and vegan snacks! We stopped for a snack! Pumpkin spices latte and cake slices: Spirulina and cherries (amazing) and cherry apples! Delicious! Cozy atmosphere and there is a choice of sweets! The only difficult thing is the choice 😉🫶🏻 we will go back tomorrow! I want to try their Matcha latte and another treat! One of the vegan paradises! A break is essential in this cozy and warm place!

The atmosphere and service were really good, the coffee too. But unfortunately the food wasn't tasty for us - we ordered the Scottish breakfast, soup + "salmon" sandwich, and cakes (with a huge amount of sugar).

Unsure how this place rates so highly, maybe it’s the food and cakes, because the coffee was terribly burnt and there were 3 other customers served before us.. (fellow aussies you’ve been warned)

Great food! The curry wrap may be my top ten meal anywhere. Also pumpkin spice latte is the best.

This was the highlight of Fort William. Had a wonderful breakfast there with muesli and a Matcha Latte! Both super delicious, service was outstanding, atmosphere was nice!

You're vegan? You'll most likely be happy here! No need to ask or anything. My suggestion: Have coffee and cake here and look at people (and their dogs!) roaming Fort William. Had a few visits here and it's modern and a little alternative without being too hipster or annoying, good for all. Had coffee and hot chocolate and cakes and were happy all around. It might be a little cramped for some people, which is the single downside I could think of. Didn't have any lunch here, but from what I saw and smelled from other tables, I would definitely try it.

Top food and coffee here. Give yourself a break from the fat and grease and delight in the tasty veggie rolls and pasties.

What a joy to find this fabulous Vegan eatery while on holiday in Scotland. We had the hazelnut hot chocolate and it was divine. I wish we were there longer because the food options looked delicious. The staff were so helpful and friendly, highly recommend a visit, and you don't have to be vegan!

I don't always go for vegan food, but due to dietary requirements it is good to have the option since I often need to eat vegetarian. I was very impressed by the creative options here, they were very tasty. This is a perfect spot if you're looking for a more sustainable, responsible, and most importantly delicious meal in the town.

10/10 delicious.I had the Zalmon and cream chez bagel. Was unbelievably good. The zalmon was lightly pickled carrots I believe; much better than processed mock fish IMO. Highly recommended.

Amazing place. My husband said the coffee he had there was the best one he had in UK so far. I ordered a smoothie and it was delicious. The cake and the toast are very good as well. We had breakfast there and we tried to go back in the afternoon for another coffee but we arrived after 4pm and they were closed. Sad to wasn’t able to go there one more time before leaving Fort William.

Delicious vegan restaurant with nicer choices on the menu. Really enjoyed it. It’s a very busy place so we did have a walk first then came back and were able to get seating. Definitely worth the wait.

Overrated The pastries had no taste despite was filled with veggies The cake felt like it’s been outside for days-dry. Coffee was way too hot that it should be, flat white felt more like a cappuccino made milk. Not sure how this place had such a high rating

Friendly service, cute space, 5* spicy bean roll and beat latte I’ve had in Scotland! Hard to believe the roll was vegan, as it was so flaky and buttery!

This place certainly changed my perception of vegan food. I had the carrot zalmon and vegan cream cheese bagel - very good. I would have it again. Because I don’t like alternative milks (as I was going to have a latte originally) I opted for the berry tea. Lovely set up and the tea was very pleasant. I finished by having the coffee and walnut cake - you wouldn’t know it was a vegan cake. Slightly crumbly at the end but it was very moist and tasted great. Staff were very friendly. Pricing was reasonable for a speciality cafe but by no means cheap. My one complaint is that they don’t have more individual tables so we were sat on a table with four other small groups. It did change my perception of what vegan food could be - flavoursome and tasty. However, I will not be converting to veganism anytime soon. Normal cheese will never be replaced by vegan cheese.

Toast and coffee for 12 pounds?! Not worth it!

You eat poorly, they serve cold piadinas, the place remains with the door open (in August it is still 10 degrees). I ordered one dish and they brought me a different one. Somewhat sloppy waiters, they talk loudly about how much they can't stand "people" anymore. The bakery located 50 meters ahead is far superior.

Finally a really good café in Fort William. The coffee creations and the food are really good. Even though the espresso is a bit more acidic than my personal taste, I really enjoyed it. A little more expensive, but definitely worth it.

Had a super delicious broccoli kale spinach soup in a veggie stock. Incredible sourdough bread (coming from someone who makes it) my son has lots of allergies and vegan isn’t usually a good idea. They helped us navigate menu. Was terrific !!

We ordered hot chocolate, latte and two cakes for take out. It all tasted really yummy. The café was pretty busy at around 3pm, but service was still super friendly and fast. Also great to see so many people enjoying the vegan food/drinks!

Specialty coffee and beautiful desserts

We loved stopping here when we were on a bus tour to Loch Ness. They had such creative and delicious options! I had a carrot bagel that was so good that I randomly crave it now that I’m back from my trip. Definitely worth a stop!

Brilliant find on the High Street in Fort William. Very friendly efficient staff. The lady on front of house was really welcoming and professional. The baristas (in training) produced delicious coffees and we were offered a bowl of water for our dog. Unfortunately we weren't hungry enough to try the cakes but they looked amazing!

We had a fantastic breakfast here with our small tour group. Everything was super delicious and 100% vegan. Just great. The staff was very friendly and quick. Big praise again to the team!

A fully vegan and cozy coffee shop in the centre of Fort William. It offers a lot of sweet treats, but also savoury snacks and lunch options. The coffee was the best i've had in Scotland, and the service was excellent. Seems like a chill place to work at, a really nice atmosphere. I would give a 6th star for their attention to sustainability. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous little cafe and so refreshing to get oat milk as standard! All the food looked wholesome, fresh and really clearly marked with what was free of nuts, gluten and refined sugar. Coffee was absolutely delicious – going back again for the second day in a row! We got a decaf latte, breakfast tea, flapjack and banana loaf to take out. Would love to sit in next time as it was really cosy.

A hidden gem in the Highlands. A fully vegan cafe with a wide and delicious selection of foods! I wish I was here for a day or two longer so I could try the other options! The staff are all incredibly friendly and have a nice conversation with you. The food is delicious and I highly recommend this spot! A perfect pick me up spot after a long hike. Definitely want to come back again! They also have a wide selection of products for purchase at the back. A vegan's haven!

Pastries, savoury and sweet; cakes, slices, squares; mains, soup, coffees (including filter) and teas, smoothies, weekly specials...and a small grocery area, with chocolate, condiments, canned and packaged goods and household products. Over my three days in town, I had the curry served with naan; biscoff cake, carrot cake, salted caramel cake; and the spicy bean roll - all very good. Wish I’d had time to try the quinoa & veg salad. Often very busy - it’s popular!

Sooooo goood!!! Being a vegan traveling abroad can be a challenge so it’s always wonderful to find gems where you don’t have to ask if it is vegan. My non vegan partner said the latte was the best one he had had so far in the UK. We loved our lunch of felafal wrap and Cornish pasty respectively and the biscoff cake was delish! Thank you!!

So much potential to be better. Good amount of staff working but still struggling so slow service. Coffee is the best in Fort William since Rain closed but for the price, you'd expect better service. Maybe reduce the table numbers & service would improve?

Delicious date slice, only issue is space as it is the best coffee spot in town. This means people stand over your table waiting to pounce.

It’s vegan, got ticked by that naming of meals… If they are vegan, why would they try to make their food look like meats? Zalmon? Come on… I think if people want to be vegan, they should not try to make their food look like meats (end of story)

I love the Wildcat. If I’m ever in Fort William, I have to pay it a visit. Plant based vegan options galore! I’m not even vegan, but their food is great, atmosphere is amazing and all the staff are super friendly and accommodating, only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of how popular it is, it can be super busy and difficult to find a free table, unless you’re willing to wait a bit.

Service and atmosphere was nice but food ? Not especially. I knew that it was a vegan place but when I asked for wraps I was told that they have a wrap with chicken. Ok so I go for it. When I received it, we found out that it was not a chicken but chickun (chicken substitute) worst thing I ever eat. The only part of the wrap that has some taste was a cucumber and mayonnaise, overall not good, and coffe with MYLK instead of milk? Disgusting. Never again!!

This cafe is the happiest place on the planet. The posters in the bathroom, the little den at the back, the people behind the counter, and the coffee - all pretty amazing.

What a great place! Everything I had was delicious and I went there 3 days in a row. The best coffee and wraps, delicious tea and smoothie. The staff was very friendly too even though the place is very busy (it's the food!!). Loved to see a vegan place in FW. I even got a coffee with the whole universe on it (or maybe a nebula?)

Outstanding! We visited the Wildcat and found the food to be excellent and the service to be positive, helpful and very good. The ethical side to the cafe was a surprise and a challenge. On the advice of The Wildcat we watched 'Dairy is Scary' and from now on it's only oat milk for us. Great food and life changing too!!!

Very good address! Probably the only one in the area worth the detour!! Simple but effective cuisine. Nice choice of teas and cakes.

Really lovely vegan café. I had the chickpea and vegetable curry but was disappointed that it was very simple and actually mostly potato, and so didn't feel like it quite earned it's £14 price. Otherwise everything else was delicious.

We're not vegans but enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Wildcat. We were lucky enough to secure the last free table at noon. A very popular little cafe, catering for takeaways as well as eat-ins. I had a delicious chicken pea curry and my companion had a hummus wrap. I didn't fancy tea or coffee with plant-based milk so stuck to water. If we lived locally, it would become our regular haunt!

Great that there is a vegan cafe in a town with few vegan options. It's small place so be prepared to wait, squeeze in or just take away. Small but all good menu, lots of cakes and seriously good coffee. Like this place

A small, cozy vegan cafe offering a wide selection of baked goods, coffee & drinks, cooked food & vegan lifestyle products. Didn’t manage to try their bakes but the bakes looked fresh & delicious. The Spinach & Kale linguine can be seasoned a bit more in our opinion but the pasta was cooked well. Will highly recommend the Smoked Carrot Zalmon with Cream Cheez bagel!

Came to this place for lunch. Absolutely gorgeous food. Recommend the chai latte and the chick*n,gherkin, mayo and mustard wrap. The only down side I had was that you had to queue in the normal cafe queue when you wanted to buy items from the shop. It took me 15-20mins to buy a bag of coffee beans. Maybe they should create a separate queue for the shop.
