The food was delicious! And the price was not extortionate. The staff were extremely friendly and caring. I'm sure I'll come back🙂

Pedimos 6 platos de tapas y un poco de pan de ajo queso y luchamos por terminar todo. Mis platos favoritos fueron el plato de cerdo, langostino y chorizo, coliflor y el pan. La próxima vez vamos a pedir cantidades más pequeñas y si todavía tiene hambre, pedir más, ya que los platos no se mantienen calientes durante tanto tiempo. Tomamos un café alcohólico para terminar una comida fabulosa. Estaba contento con la cuenta, así no está tan mal para la cantidad que comimos y bebimos. Sin duda volveremos.

Lovely Mexican food a few minutes from Union Street with pleasant atmosphere and attentive, but never intrusive, staff. Sharing a starter suited us as main courses were very generous. (We were offered to take left-overs away, which we did). Very clean, fresh decor (lovely toilets are upstairs), dining area had a few secluded booths and fine dining in relaxed surrounds combined with a good menu meant our trip from Montrose well worth it. As is often the case, reviews can end with "If there's one thing to find fault with..." We couldn't find it. Recommended unreservedly.

El personal era genial, muy servicial ordenándome a mí y mi intolerancia al vino con lo que podía comer (un montón de opciones para mí) Tenía el plato mediterráneo y panes primero seguido de una variedad de tapas para compartir, todos eran encantadores. Realmente disfruté de la comida. Me encantaría recomendar Dos Amigos y esperamos con interés la próxima visita.

Service was good however the food was really bad, you could tell the food was just put in a microwave especially the nachos. The nachos in the middle were soft and hot on the inside but very cold along the outside. The Fajitas were very bland and didn't taste of much and obviously just reheated. The reviews are definitely misleading, wouldn't recommend.

Alimento excepcional. Tuve un par de fuera de la sección de ‘mordiscos’ del menú y un par del menú principal. Todo era 10 / 10 lo recomendaría! ¡No puedo esperar para volver y probar algunas de las opciones de Tapas!

Almorzamos el sábado pasado con amigos y una vez más tuvimos una comida fantástica! Manoj y su personal son muy amables y te cuidan bien. Excelente comida, gran relación calidad-precio y sin duda volveremos.

We went here during Aberdeen restaurant week for the first time and the tapas was delicious and had a good selection of veggie options too. I also got sangria which was lovely. The waitress we had was so polite and attentive. 100% will be visiting again :)

I’m beginning to wonder if I was in the same restaurant as is reviewed on this website? I booked a table on the website, received two emails to confirm so felt sure that was the booking made. Arrived to be told there was no record of my booking but, “never mind, we’ll get a table for you”. Sat down and was presented with a small laminated menu of limited tapas dishes. When I asked for the menu with the fajita’s, burritos, chimichangas etc, I was told, we’re not doing those just now because of Aberdeen Restaurant Week! Surely in a restaurant week you’d do a bit more to market your business than waaaay less? I said that there was no mention of that on their website before I booked, the waiter didn’t seem to understand that it might have made a difference if they told people they had a limited menu on and just repeated, “it’s Aberdeen restaurant week”. Decided to find somewhere else, walked the short distance to Cafe Andaluz who had their full menu on despite it being Aberdeen Restaurant Week! Would avoid Dos Amigos.

My son celebrated his 30th birthday at the weekend. He invited family and friends to have a meal there. 22 people to cater for so a large gathering. Service and food were 1st class. The staff who also had other diners to deal with were excellent. We will return!

I dined at Dos Amigos restaurant tonight, conveniently located near my hotel. I ordered the nachos and seafood paella. The nachos were delicious, topped with fresh sour cream and jalapeños. The paella was flavorful, though slightly overcooked. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, and the prices were reasonable. If you’re visiting Aberdeen, I recommend considering Dos Amigos for a meal.

Fantastic place ..Delicious food blows other Tapas establishments out of the water …very attentive but not obtrusive staff .it was my other half’s birthday and a last minute secret request for a dessert and birthday candle was not too much trouble at all …Owner a lovely chap who made us feel so welcome Highly recommend a visit ❤️

Many of my hairdressing clients have been recommending DOS AMIGOS to me and I am so glad we tried it . A Cosy friendly atmosphere with a great varied menu. An absolute gem of a find this weekend. Food was fantastic. Staff were genuinely lovely, their customer service and attention to detail was exceptional. Thank you for a really lovely evening. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Best restaurant in Aberdeen as far as I am concerned

Really enjoyed my first visit, and will return. The Cajun Pollo was delicious. The chicken was moist and very flavoursome with a fresh salad and dusted fries. The portion size was perfect after nachos as a starter. My friends dishes looked great, too. I'd love to try the salmon. Decent range of drinks and nice staff who were available when you needed them to be. Good dessert options. It's a bright and clean space with enough room for everyone.

Fantastic restaurant. Service was great and food was amazing. There was a mix up with our booking but no drama, it was immediately resolved. The owner is very proud of his place which he should be it’s one of the best meals we have had in years. We will definitely go back.

It was like being a in Valencia again. I've lived in Valencia for 20 years, this is the best place in Aberdeen for Paella. "Socarrat" is how a paella is meant to be served (the paella is slightly browned (toasted) underneath) The chef (12 years working in Tenerife) knew what it was and made it perfectly. Went here last night as part of a group of 9 and we all loved it. It’s not a big restaurant but this meant the staff were so attentive and it felt so relaxed. Because we were a group the owner suggested we go for the tapas and it was a great suggestion. So much food came out of the kitchen and each dish was amazing. Variety of meat, fish and vegetable options all packed full of flavour giving a variety for everyone at the table. We could barely finish all the dishes there was so much but each dish was delicious. We had loads of drinks from cocktails to jugs of sangria and including all our food and desert and a tip it came to £50 each which we felt for the quality of service and food was really good value. Will definitely be going back again.

Better if you make a reservation, since it is not a huge place; but it had enough tables. Parking could be tricky at peak hours (place is just a few meters away from Holburn street, so...). I cannot recommend the grilled octopus enough. It was top! Service was good. Our waiter was polite, and we did not wait long for our food. Portions are well sized, so you can ask for nibblers, main course, and leave just enough room for a fine piece. The only downside (for me) was the music: too much reguetón and Shakira for a spanish-mexican themed place.

Went for a work meal , food was amazing , never had Mexican that managed to get the spices perfect , the chef is amazing! The drinks were good and flowing as was the atmosphere and the helpful and friendly staff. Will defo be back with more people now I know this place exists!

I didn't expect it and the food left us delighted, it became one of my favorite places, good Latin music and fusion food.

Lovely night, used Itison voucher as a birthday present, food lovely 5 tapas, plenty vegetable, fish or meat to choose from. Olives and garlic bread to start washed down with a bottle of wine. Service good, attentive staff. A really good night at one of Aberdeens hidden gem.

We went twice in Dos Amigos restaurant and both time food was great. They have good selection of Mexican and spanish food. Try their tapas. making reservation is too hard here best if walk in. Service is great.

An absolute mouth watering visit. Table of four for an evening meal. The atmosphere is very homely, welcoming and very comfortable for a small venue. The service from door greeting to table service was excellent. The food was amazing, we had tapas, chicken and steak strips, all of which were mouth watering excellent. I especially enjoyed the flavour of the chimichurri on the steak strips. A very reasonable priced menu, with good selection of drinks to accompany. First visit and will definitely return.

From the moment we walked in we felt welcome in this lovely, relaxed restaurant. The staff are so caring and focused on providing a high standard of customer care. We ordered the cava and it was the finest I've had. Then we had a selection of tapas with bread & olives, it was amazing! The flavours were varied and all delicious. Desert was too tempting and also fantastic. I can't wait to return!

Had a great evening at Dos Amigos last night. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and attentive, making it a pleasure to sit in their restaurant. The food was excellent, every tapa delicious and very good portion size. The sangria and margaritas are by far the best I’ve had in Aberdeen. Perfect place for good food and drinks with friends, highly recommend. Can’t wait to return.

Dos Amigos provided the perfect Mother's Day outing for us! If you're a fan of Café Andaluz, you'll adore this spot. It truly transports you to Spain, making you feel like you're on holiday. Highly recommend experiencing the wonderful ambiance and food!

Went on a whim, very impressed by food and atmosphere despite not being too busy. The tapas was excellent, very flavourful with great sauces, had 3 each and was filling enough. Also had dessert and drinks which increased final price but was surprised how reasonable it was. Service very helpful. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

I first visited Dos Amigos as part of a work night out and we were incredibly well looked after. The food was fantastic and prompted me to return with family last weekend. From the wonderful friendly and happy staff to the food, this place deserves a 10/10. The food is delicious and great portion sizes. The ambience is always warm and the staff are attentive. As regulars to Dos Amigos, we always come to know that the food will be fantastic. A taste of Spain & Mexico under one roof, which always brightens up a miserable day in Aberdeen. I had arranged a surprise family get together for a special birthday, the Management team were extremely accommodating with my requests, thank you! The food lived up to past experiences and delivered as always fresh, tasty and authentic cuisine, what more could you ask for? Just one critique was that it was obvious there was a much lesser experienced member of staff who was way out of their depth on an extremely busy Saturday night, maybe a bit more front of house training is required, as it became really frustrating when drinks orders were wrong, no plates, nor cutlery and we kept having to ask for things, we felt like an inconvenience. A bit more effort from a customer service perspective wouldn’t go amiss or a Supervisor that can orchestrate a much smoother service, as the restaurant seemed very chaotic. This is the first time we have ever had service issues! Saying that, we had a lovely meal and will continue to support this great local restaurant, the food is top notch, without any Michelin price tag attached.

Yesterday just after work I poped in to Dos Amigos Aberdeen for a quick visit before whole restaurant fully booked. The place is always outstanding but yesterday exceeded all my expectation in highest level ever, giving me so simple but such a tasty tapas, virgin sangria and wee little pavlova❤❤❤❤ Special for the day Brushetta with chopped tomato slice of melted Manchiego cheese and walnuts- what a combination 🤤🤤🤤 Tuna empanadas! OMG die for it! So fresh, soft and such a tasty Mexican tuna filling with homemade salsa chimichuri sauce ❤💚❤💚 What a discovery of a taste!! And this wee little pavlova - cause I don't like too big desserts and too sweet. In combination with homamade berry kompot, fresh raspberries and greek yoghurt it was just perfect and amazing finish for my dinner Service always so professional and knowledgeable about food they serve even when new waitress just started 10 days ago she was trained and being able to answer few my question about the menu🤗🤗🤗 Highly recommend if anyone haven't been there yet, its a must! Best tapas drinks service and more in whole Aberdeen!

Food and the house sangria was fantastic the paella was so Yumyum and staff v professionals. We had a great time and happy tummy.

Didn't finish and of the about 7 tapas we ordered, meatballs were burnt, nachos were more like pizza base, red wine sauce was way to strong and salty.Decor is ok, service was quite slow even though it wasn't full. Lots of very gushing five star reviews though, hard to believe...

I organised my birthday meal here for 17 of us and it was brilliant. The staff were really friendly and attentive, they had very sweetly put up balloons and a banner for my birthday and the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone raved about it afterwards. Definitely worth a visit. I will be back 😊

Wonderful experience. A slight wait for food but we had a very large table, and I personally think that means it's being cooked properly. Didn't hear any complaints at all, only praise. My cauliflower on five bean rice was excellent! Good veggie choices.

The food is superb. Visited with my wife and baby son and thought the service could have been better. E.G. no help by waiting staff getting pram in or out of restaurant despite see us struggling through a very tight door. This said the food made up for it.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, 11 of us went for an anniversary celebration,everybody had something different from the menu, it all came out in good time and was absolutely delicious, this is the 5th time I have been there and cannot fault it at all,staff are very welcoming.

This place is absolutely amazing! The food is fantastic, I would highly recommend the salmon with dirty rice & mango salsa 😋 & everything else on the menu! 😂 The staff are brilliant & very attentive. First time visit....had a family lunch.. Food was exceptional...tapas dishes varied and delicious...staff very helpful.. Won't be long till we return for sure.

We walked past this restaurant a few days ago and feeling hungry decided to give it a go. We both had vegetarian fajitas, which were absolutely fantastic, we also had 2 pints of Madri lager which was also fantastic. It was very early evening when we went in and the place was empty but it soon started filling up. I can see why. Will definitely be back.

One standout dish for me was the filete de ternera, which was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. The ingredients were fresh, and it was evident that the chef takes great pride in their craft. The staff at Dos Amigos deserves special commendation for their impeccable service. They were knowledgeable about the menu, ready to offer recommendations, and attentive to our needs throughout the meal.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! We are from Swindon and on holiday in Scotland. We've spent the day in Aberdeen and fancied Mexican. We checked Google reviews and were NOT disappointed! This restaurant was amazing! The food and service was excellent. The owner is clearly very proud of his restaurant and it shows! He gave us recommendations and served us wholeheartedly. Food we ordered: tapas, nibbles of nachos and bread. The nachos were incredible and the best I've ever had! I'll never forget this experience and the food.

The staff are absolutely outstanding, super friendly and welcoming. If they can add something to make your experience better, then they will. I can't speak highly enough about the service, warmth, the extra mile - a business is only as good as the staff who work there and they are exceptional. The food - outstanding. Absolutely delicious. Lamb cutlets were perfection, chorizo was exceptional, prawns were perfect and the meatballs were mama-mia spectacular. Even the cheesecake was the best I've had. 100% would recommend. We went to celebrate my mrs birthday and we had just an exceptional experience with the food and the staff - cannot fault anything

A bit biased coming from the States, but this place was really good. My wife and I stopped here and both got the fajitas. They were phenomenal. My prawns were slightly overcooked and rubbery but flavor was still on point. Only reason for the four instead of five star was the prawns and the chips and queso was so-so but otherwise the place was great, staff was amazing, and highly recommend.

The food was delicious and affordable considering portion sizes- we had a couple of tapas, a few drinks each and shared a paella (with leftovers!!) and a dessert for around £60- great delicious bang for your buck! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Decor was really cute. A fantastic dining experience- we especially enjoyed the paella and lamb chops. We will be back!
