What a place! I couldn't believe the cheese cake was plant based. Just utterly amazing. Will definitely go back!

The food (mushroom and tahini sandwich) was beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly, and waiting times were good given how busy the cafe was. It's a shame the cafe is so little, as we had to sit outside - but that was fine as we were wrapped up against the cold.

BioCafe is such an excellent spot for vegans, whether that's for getting some food (breakfast, brunch, lunch) or coffees and cakes, they do have it all and it's such a good quality.

Continues to be our favourite cafe in Aberdeen! Such a wide selection of options it is hard to decide what to order!!! This includes a huge range of desserts. Amazing quality, kind and friendly staff and delicious food! Highly recommend for vegans and non vegans (we’ve come with family and friends)—everyone loves it!

My favourite cafe in Aberdeen. This place is excellent, they have a different range of homemade cakes each day, excellent drinks and a varied food menu. My favourites are the scrambled tofu and avocado croissant and the lavender spirulina iced latte. I have come here maybe 5 times in the last month and I love it here. My only complaint is, as a nut allergy sufferer, I cannot eat the waffles as these are made with almond milk. I’d love to see a nut free alternative ! Highly recommend.

Great taste and high quality veggie foods

Having walked past this cafe many times, I thought it was high time for a visit on a sunny Monday lunchtime. The display of cakes looked absolutely amazing (I wish I snapped a photo so you could see it too!). It was colourful and varied. Everything on the menu sounded tasty and healthy (my idea of perfection) so I had a hard time making a choice! The constant flow of sit-ins, takeaways and Deliveroo orders meant it took over 40 minutes for my food and drink to arrive at my table. I got an apology from two friendly members of staff but for the price, I expected to at least get my drink while I waited. I had jackfruit tacos which were the best I've ever tasted. I don't have tacos often. I rate Biocafe's tacos better than ones I've had in the USA. The jackfruit was meaty and it was spicy but not too spicy. The red cabbage and blue cornflowers made for an artsy-looking plate. The banana and date lassi wasn't a success. The banana needed to be riper to add a sweeter flavour, the dates should be more blended to make a smoother texture and more yoghurt should be used to make it a lassi. The addition of a shot of coffee may also balance the flavour. Overall, brilliant tacos but not quite worth the wait.

I'm normally a little sceptical about vegan restaurants, but the flavours and textures of the dishes we've tried here have really impressed. We've been a few times now and firmly intend to return many times more. Great food, great coffee, well worth a visit.

Lovely colourful bijou little cafe with great style. Visited for our Aunties birthday and really enjoyed it. The food was absolutely delicious and the cakes were sensational. The space is a bit limited but they are inventive with it. Very nice staff.

We had the soup and sandwich deal! It was sweet potato and lentils, with some seeds ! Definitely a vegetarian type of food! But we did enjoy, although we wouldn't have this very often! Toastie was again vegetarian/vegan, again enjoyable, coffee flat white ,you have a choice of milk oat type or dairy, staff very welcome and friendly, we appear to have got the last table! Busy Friday lunchtime, but by the time we were finished, there were more tables available.

Always make time to eat here whenever I get up to Aberdeen. Wonderful food at a reasonable price. Best vegan menu in the area!

We visited today for breakfast and all we can say is that it was a wonderful experience, the GF waffles and bagel were excellent and the staff very attentive. We will definitely go back

The best place to eat at in Aberdeen as a gluten-free and vegan person. The menu has markings on which foods are available gluten-free. All the cakes are always gluten-free and vegan. The staff is well aware of the cross-contamination concept. Food is amazing and staff are lovely 🥰

Lovely atmosphere, amazing food and friendly staff

Great food choices. All vegan which is amazing especially the cakes! Very busy place but staff helpful in trying to get everyone seated promptly. We had an open avocado sandwich, macaroni which was a bit watery and two drinks. Had a pot of tea which was served with a wine glass. Very novel idea with the flowering jasmine tea, but a bit hot to hold.

I'm not a vegan or a vegetarian but I like to try new things and eat less meat than I used to. The food here was really good... if a little pricey (but that's what you get for handmade, fresh whole foods). It is small and cosy with accommodating staff. We will be back for sure.

Lovely relaxed cafe with a delicious offering of food that is very well presented. Also had lots of lovely desserts available, some of which being keto friendly. Loved that the menu was well coded so you could see exactly what food matched your dietry requirements. Will return. Many thanks 🦊

Good service and attentive but overall surprised with the rating. We were 4 and our food was served separately (which is fine) but all luke warm and portions pretty disappointing. Actually tasted fine

Fantastic Scrambled Tofu Full Breakfast 😋. 1st time visiting but will def go back. Staff very friendly and offered an alternative for the sausages that were the only thing in the meal that weren't gluten free. Coffee was delicious and I appreciated them having decaffeinated and not just caffeine-d coffee. The atmosphere is cosy with only a few tables, window table upstairs but also a lovely area with games and books downstairs. The cafe and toilets were very clean, a definite plus indeed. Look forward to going back and trying more dishes and possibly one f the many gluten free desserts/cakes they have.

Fantastic vegan cafe/restaurant. Their menu is huge which is always a lovely surprise because usually vegan options are just 1 or 2 to choose from. Had the Banoffie Pie waffles with a regular tea and it was unreal. Amazing flavours, beautifully crisp but soft waffles and presented beautifully. Couldn't finish it so was able to take a takeaway box to have the rest later. Very reasonable prices too.

Excellent choice of superb nutritious food. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for. Service is good and lovely staff. Looking forward to going again, next time I'm in Aberdeen 😋

Lovely organic vegan cafe, very accommodating and helpful staff. The kind owner told me where I can buy local organic vegetables and fruit. I haven’t been there yet as it’s in Stonehaven and I don’t have a car. I am not keen in the processed food and sadly I couldn’t select what I always choose the fresh organic buddha bowl and falafel bowl salad’s. It’s a shame people don’t realise that our bodies can use the nutrients of real fruits and vegetables not processed that fills you up and is tasty, but it doesn’t give any nutritional value.💞😅

Nice vibes and friendly staff for which they get their stars, but their cakes are absolutely tasteless. Tasteless and overpriced for what they are - for nearly £10 for two slices I expected better. Dissapointing.

Quirky and eclectic little cafe & restaurant with tasty and fresh food. We had the red Thai noodle salad and the Thai burger, both were lovely and fresh. The burger fell apart a bit and was messy but this is a common issue with these types of patties. The flavour was lovely none the less! Staff were friendly and attentive and there was a clean washroom available as well. Lots of baked goods available, though we were too full to try any.

Delicious food! My mum and I shared nachos and both had the pad Thai bowl. The cheesy sauce on the nachos was so tasty and pad Thai bowl was also full of nutritious tastiness - peanut sauce, papaya and so many other elements. The food coming out of the kitchen past us all looked amazing so would 10/10 recommend and want to come back.

As a vegan going out with my Omni daughter we both had a really lovely meal in a fabulous setting. I can't rate this place highly enough.

I’ve been to Bio Cafe a few times now and it’s becoming one of my favourite places in Aberdeen. Always a friendly welcome, and the coffee here is excellent. The food options are great too. I had the Italian sandwich this time, and it was fresh and tasty. It’s a great little place with good food and good service, so definitely recommended.

Very extensive menu and the options we chose (winter toast and jackfruit burger) were amazing! So tasty and fresh, followed by nice hot coffee and a great atmosphere - will definitely be coming back!

Very refreshing to find a gem like this in Aberdeen. The overall atmosphere was very inviting and it's cosy and warm. The staff are all very polite and clean and friendly. The food steals the show however.. I had the falafel wrap. It arrived hot, well toasted and smothered in sauce and plenty of garnish, which also tasted delicious as well as looking good. I'd say very good value for money, healthy, clean and well thought out.. this place is a must try. Definitely will be returning to try something new.

I often come here with my friend and there is a great selection of food and delicious diabetic friendly cakes. We went in today (having had a bad day) and were well looked after by Callie who was really kind and brightened up our afternoon.
