Cafe Tagoo in Glasgow City

The BEST ever joint I have visited for a quick coffee, millionaire shortbread slice and a sandwich. Damon the owner is so accommodating. Will be sad to see it close

Very much mirroring the previous comment. Great wee cafe near the end of Woodlands Road, west end Glasgow. Managed to grab a seat downstairs and I watched the world go by sipping on a ‘Cappuccino’ and eating a ‘Toasted Chicken Tikka Pitta Bread’. Thoroughly enjoyed both - served by a friendly American girl. Definitely off the beaten path, pretty much stumbled upon it accidentally. Highly recommended for anyone living in or visiting the area.

Great wee cafe in Glasgow, highly recommend if you’re in the west end. The owner and all the staff are so lovely and welcome you with open arms. The food is amazing, everything has been made with love they also have a great selection of drinks. If you’re looking for a cafe to visit in Glasgow I think cafe Tagoo if the place, great atmosphere, food and people.

Owner pulled us in off the street, as soon as we got in he told us the oven was broken. Food took over an hour to arrive. Order was wrong (items missing, eggs and cheese on vegan order, cold food). No apology from the owner. Poor waitress was working so hard to hold things together when it wasn’t her fault. No discount offered. Overall absolutely rubbish experience.

Great place and great staff and although they have a menu board of sandwiches but you can simply create your own as no sandwiches pre made and all made fresh to order Worth the few minute wait Highly recommend

I popped in for a coffee and to read my book, I was greeted with very kind staff members I realised it was time for prayer and I asked the staff member if I was okay to pray upstairs as there was enough room without me disturbing anyone or being an obstruction. The staff member said I was okay to pray so I did and I feel very happy and appreciated the kindness of her which made me feel very included and safe. Thank you very much for your kindness and for allowing me to pray. I highly recommend that you visit this place and enjoy some cake coffee and the very soothing waterfall in the corner. Thank you again I will be visiting again

Was great visiting this café as the service was super friendly and professional, the chef was so friendly by staying longer to make us what we wanted at the time she was meant to go away. Thanks a lot for the friendly service, had a great time visiting this place! 🙏🏽

Cafe Tagoo is a west end hidden GEM! The food is delicious, the place is spotlessly clean, the staff are very friendly and there are loads of vege and vegan options too - always a bonus!! My fave is the Vege Mexi, halloumi and guac to die for! Will be back!

Had a lovely brunch here today, sourdough bread topped with avocado, bacon, halloumi and 2 perfectly poached eggs, I will definitely be returning as theres so much more of the menu for me to try.

Delicious food, great coffee, friendly staff, very cosy, excellent value. I’ve been a few times now and I’m working my way through the menu 😁 You have to go!!!

I discovered this cafe by accident. I didn't regret it at all. After so many years in Glasgow, I find a place that is consistent with its food quality and portions in decent prices. Everything you taste is fresh and the owner Damon makes sure that the atmosphere is nice and friendly. Ideal place for a catch up with friends for lunch, dinner and even studying as it's close to Glasgow Uni. In our last time there, we had the steak halloumi stack (highly recommended), the Tagoo Club Sandwish (huge chunks of meat. Great!) and an apple pie for dessert. My new favourite is at the West End of Glasgow. After a visit, I'm sure it will be yours too!

Tiny cafe that also has outside seating perfect for the sunny afternoon we visited. Really nice range of sandwiches but as my husband is gluten free he was able to have his sandwich filling in a baked sweet potato instead which was a nice touch. Nice cakes too and clean toilets.

Had a great brunch here yesterday. Beautifully cooked and presented, staff very nice and attentive. Really lovely cafe with plenty of choices on the menu.

This is a great place, the owners make sure they get high quality ingredients and you can really taste the difference. It’s from 8am open until late, which makes a welcome difference compared to the standard cafe opening times. I had dinner there last night...

Recently visited this new restaurant on the scene. I highly recommend giving it a try. The food here is amazing as well as the welcoming customer service that comes with it. Will quickly become one of my go-to stops for amazing lunch. Thanks guys :)
