What a fantastic find on Skye. We called in for a coffee in the morning, which was very good. After exploring the area for a few hours, beyond the cafe, I suggested to my husband we call in for a bite for lunch as there was not much else open between this place, and going to the Nest Lighthouse. We enjoyed the Quiche and salad, and a delicious piece of home baked slide. A delightful setting and with the sunny day, it was fabulous to sit outside the Yurt and in the garden, enjoying the scenery. Fabulous, friendly service too, and value for money, i.e. not expecting save for the coffee, slices or meal.

Had a lovely lunch today in Raasay from this wee hidden gem. Lovely piping hot soup, toasties, ice cream, coffee and cakes.

We were driving from Portree to Uig and stopped at the Noost for a break and a coffee. Wow, excellent service from Morag and her friend - Morag also gave me a map on which she highlighted and recommended areas we could visit. Beautiful, serene vistas, great for a soul recharge!

We stayed at Taigh Ailean for our trip to Skye. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner there (Breakfast was included with our stay.) The dinner was so delicious! The view is lovely as you can see the loch from the windows of the bar. All the staff is fantastic and so friendly! I had a great dinner and I would describe it, but the menu changes to suit what is in season and available from the sea. Whatever you get, I guarantee it will be the best! Make sure you call ahead and get a reservation as it fills up quickly. I know that they also have live music, which would be great, but we didn't have any while we were there.

We discovered Lean To coffee shop while staying in Broadford and would highly recommend it. Not only do they have a nice selection of coffees, teas and juices BUT you can also get wondeeful, homemade pastries and healthy toasters. First day I tried a raspberry scone and second day a cinnamon cardamom bun. Both were delicious and freshly baked early that morning. Other family members got a vanilla bun and a cheese toasty which were also excellent. The atmosphere is nice, across the street from the sea and in a charming, rustic building. The staff are friendly and take pride in their cafe, which is understandable. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for lunch. It was full, but a table became available quickly. Had a very nice gluten free cheese toastie. Hubby had a salad and a side of chips with a black coffee that he said was excellent. I asked for a slice of their gluten free cappuccino cake to take away, and it was moist and delicious. There were more gluten free cakes to choose from. It's a nice wee café and the staff were very friendly and helpful and we'll be back. There is on-street parking and also a car park further along the road. On a nice day it would be lovely to sit at the outside tables and enjoy the view.

Heel druk. Eten van redelijke kwaliteit. Het duurde enige tijd voordat het bestelde eten werd geserveerd. Je moest het eerst in een lange rij bij de balie bestellen.
