We stopped here for lunch. Cosy space, great for a light lunch. Child had a cheese toasty, I had amazing smoked mackerel pate on Sourdough with a super fresh and yummy salad and my partner had a wonderful homemade soup. This was one of our highlights as we enjoyed the food and hot drinks so much and had a wonderful time talking to the owner about life in her community.

We stopped here for a late lunch and had really tasty salads, followed by great coffee and pastries. I had hummus and olive, which came piled onto really good sourdough bread with salad leaves and a chick pea, feta and herb salad too. The coffee was from local roasters, and our black coffee (described as long black/americano) was served in a small cup, one part espresso to 2 parts water, exactly as we like it. It’s a tiny place, and the selection isn’t huge, but the food is great and the staff are lovely so it’s a real gem of a place.

A cafe is a cafe right? Wrong! The old tin shed used to be the Ardvasar post office, it's now a wonderful welcoming meeting place with great food and a great atmosphere that is really special. Why? In a word quality: authentic Locally sourced produce, beautifully presented to create restaurant quality but in a real, intimate place. Great coffee from a hand pulled expression machine. If your in the Sleet just go there, no excuses for missing this gem 😄

Back in Ardvasar once more and how lovely to be able to pop into Cafe 1925 at lunchtime and to catch up with Sally, the delightful proprietor. Two hungry folk were quickly served the tastiest of Cheese, Ham and Onion Toasties filled to overflowing and, goodness me, they were so delicious. Sally uses only the highest quality produce in everything she prepares and has a varied menu of Snacks, Cakes and Beverages. Two Strawberry Tartlets to takeaway completed the experience. Highly recommended!

We have been going to Skye for the last 5 years and met Sally the owner on the local beach with her dog and ours started playing together. We were talking about various subjects and she said I would like to buy the old post office and make it into a little cafe low and behold the next year we came back she was up no running.Sally cooks fresh local produce and various snacks salads and meals and as a chef myself I have never had anything but good food from a toastie to a lovely Toasted Soda Bread Slice with Shrimps cooked and tossed in butter that I had last week.Sally also sells lovely cakes and has some lovely teas and lynn my wife says the coffee is excellant. The cafe is small and homely and very welcoming give it a try I am sure you will not be let down keep up the good work Sally more power to you for going for it well done!

Who would have thought in six weeks travelling in France and the UK we would have our best meal in a tin shed on the Isle of Skye? Full marks for great fresh healthy tasty food. If I lived nearby I would eat lunch there everyday. And I hear the live music is pretty good on Sundays too! Thanks to you all for a wonderful time!

Lunch in a shed...who fancies it? Heck yeah! Squeezed our party of 8 into this tiny place. The wonderful proprietor, ably assisted by her young helper, somehow managed to rustle up a delicious lunch, catering to our vegan & gluten free group. To cap it all off, a local artist was in strumming away at his guitar to keep us all entertained. Our group were so taken with this place they wanted to return the next day. Bravo & thank you.

We visited for tea and cakes later on one afternoon. By this time there was no cakes left, only pastries, a sure sign that the cakes were very good! Our pastries were wonderful. My croissant was only bettered by one I was lucky enough to eat in Les Deux Magots in Paris. The atmosphere was perfect, so welcoming as were the staff. Nothing bad to say about this place. I'm just sorry we didn't get the chance to have a full meal, I bet it's tasty. If you get the chance, pop in.
