I wandered into this little treasure of a cafe by chance. It’s quite tucked away but well worth the effort. Friendly and engaging staff take a real interest in visitors. The bacon sandwich was fresh and generously filled. Also a great range of homemade cakes and tray bakes. A bright, peaceful and calm atmosphere with a wonderful view of the river and passers-by. Highly recommended and would visit again! Well done team HH 🙂👍🏽

English below ---------------- A small café with a nice lunch menu. It is attached to the Inverness Hospice and offers disabled people an opportunity to work. No matter who, all employees are super friendly. It is easily accessible and offers parking and storage for bicycles. The food came quite quickly and tasted good. There could have been a little more cheese, but there is never enough cheese. The atmosphere is friendly and open. Everything is clean and special requests are also taken into account. We would visit it again and again, especially if you are looking for something small away from the hustle and bustle. ----------------- A small café with a nice lunch menu. Popped in whilst out for a walk. Had a lovely, piping hot, bowl of soup and a delicious home made cheese scone. My husband had a prawn baked potato which he thoroughly enjoyed too. Such a lovely setting by the river side. Plenty parking too if you have a car. The ladies who served us were charming. The cafe was lovely and warm with a spotlessly clean toilet for customers to use. This cafe is a hidden gem and I will most definitely be returning.

Fantastic wee cafe and the two ladies serving were great. We weren’t the easiest customers being a large group with a small child. They were just fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for your patience during a busy spell! Cakes are delicious too. Would recommend and definitely come back, especially as it’s all for a great cause.

What a lovely place The food was delicious , the service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. Very friendly staff and very helpful with everything that we needed! We wanted to have breakfast, but unfortunately, we didn't have the time as we were running late for our flight! Lovely staff put our order in the little box, and we had it later! We also bought a lovely calendar for 2024 with amazing pictures in it from the shop. highly recommended

I think this is run by volunteers, but that has no effect on both quality of the food and the friendly service. a lovely setting that can be combined with a nice walk along the riverside. A good selection of cakes to be tried whilst watching the fast flowing river go by, definitely worth a stop-off and nice to know that all profits go to support a worthwhile local charity.

I went in twice over the course of two days as I was at a conference at Eden Court. Both days I had soup of the day (first mushroom, then leek and potato) both tasty with a generous chunk of bread. I know so many people who have had loved ones taken care of in the Highland Hospice and it is great to be supporting this cause by eating something of their simple but tasty menu. It is affordable, nothing fancy but just plain and simple food that everyone can enjoy. It's run by the friendliest volunteers who are just so passionate about the hospice as well. Highly recommended! Offers gluten free options too.

You really have to wonder at a couple of the recent negative reviews, if the people writing the reviews, have a clue what it is like trying to run a small business in a remote part of Scotland especially given the difficult economic situation. This is a lovely cafe run with pride, high standards, and dare I say passion, by Toni Vastano and his family and the food and drink is fantastic and the cafe deserves support. Lovely coffee, cakes, bread, soups, etc. The cafe is cosy inside with fabulous artworks by Ann Vastano, a highly talented artist. The outside terrace is lovely, too weather permitting. I have no hesitation in recommending this cafe.

This tiny cafe has it sorted! Interesting food cooked well - I think they have a new menu as well. Great atmosphere and coffee. Yes, previous reviewers are right, you need to have a bacon and peanut butter sandwich at least once in your life, and Cafe 1925 is a good place to give it a go! As others said prices are reasonable especially given the quality of the food.
