Stopped in for lunch. It was full, but a table became available quickly. Had a very nice gluten free cheese toastie. Hubby had a salad and a side of chips with a black coffee that he said was excellent. I asked for a slice of their gluten free cappuccino cake to take away, and it was moist and delicious. There were more gluten free cakes to choose from. It's a nice wee café and the staff were very friendly and helpful and we'll be back. There is on-street parking and also a car park further along the road. On a nice day it would be lovely to sit at the outside tables and enjoy the view.

Stumbled across this little cafe by accident, and thankful we did! Lovely couple that run it, super friendly and welcoming. Food was nice and arrived quickly. If we’re ever back in the area we would definitely go back!

Fabulous little cafe with good food - well priced - and smashing, helpful people (especoally owners Kenny & Laura) who always serve with a smile. And they're open on Sundays, which most cafes aren't around here. Great location by Kyleakin Harbour, free parking in the road outside. Locals like us use it regularly- that's all you need to know. Highly recommended.

We 5 starving travelers just arriving on Skye drove into Kyleakin hoping to find an oasis of culinary salvation. We nearly drove past the unpretentious place when one of us noticed the outside tables and sounded the alert. Walking in the door was like walking into a room of psychic warmth and sunshine. These people obviously LOVE what they do, and the food reflects that love. The menu is simple but well-rounded, from tasty sandwiches, soups and salads to scrumptious deserts. Exactly what we were seeking!

Had breakfast takeaway twice here during our stay, staff are very friendly and food is delicious. Was travelling with a breakfast roll connoisseur who says "breakfast rolls here are exceptional" They even gave us an extra sausage for the dog :)

Great breakfast served by cheerful people who obviously enjoyed their work. Good to have refills of tea and coffee. Good value and by far the best eatery we have found in the area. Cakes also looked delicious and we bought some to eat later

We dropped in for breakfast while traveling. The shop was busy but the staff greeted us promptly. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. There are not many places to get breakfast in Kyleakin so the Harbor Hideaway Cafe was a welcome oasis.

What a lovely surprise to find ' Harbour Hideaway ' cafe. Very welcoming and polite and friendly crew of staff. There was one free table and the cafe was buzzing with happy diners. I chose gf carrot and coriander soup with gf bread - very tasty 😋. Hubby had ham and cheese toastie with salad - it was very tasty and certainly looked appetising. Hubby had coffee which was dark but not bitter whilst I had hot water with lemon. It is certainly a cafe we will return to when in the area 😀

Amazing food freshly made not overly crowded perfect place for a nice breakfast with the other half. Coffee is outstanding and prices very fair for such a nice wee cafe.

Amazing quality food service was incredible you can walk in a feel like family instantaneously everything feels as if it’s farm to table (especially the cheesecake ). Don’t even get me started on the huge selection of fine coffees no need for Arabian coffee when you can have kyleakin coffee A great place for a decent break Would always return . The staff are incredibly attentive to all needs . Would give a 6 star but 5 is all I can do

A beautiful location with very friendly and helpful staff. Best flat white coffee I’ve had anywhere in ages. Gorgeous cakes too; I had lemon drizzle and it was superb. Any trip to Skye needs (at least) a coffee stop at Harbour Hideaway Cafe.

Absolutely love Harbour Hideaway - it is locally owned and supports local artists as well as featuring local bakers on the menu! The coffee is delicious and the food is fantastic - caters to all dietary requirements you could think of. The Gluten free Carrot cake is SO GOOD.

Visited Annie’s bakery whilst visiting up visiting family in Thurso. Amazing value for money alongside fabulous savouries and sweets. So much time and effort put into each. Transported plenty of goodies home to North Yorkshire, we will be back!! ☺️

We had some really delicious cake and tea. I would definitely recommend the banana chocolate cake and the apple caramel cake. The service was really nice and I would definitely stop there again.

Agree with the other reviews. This is an unlikely place to find at the end of the world. We felt welcomed and in the main enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the cost for the 2 of us. £200 for a snack, breakfast, plate of curry and a bunkhouse bed with no shower and a outside toilet seemed breathtaking expensive. To put this into perspective, we go to a nice hotel each year for a winter break, that's more than we pay per day at the hotel with vastly more civilized amenities. I do understand there are logistics involved at Cape wrath. However for an 'ordinary' local Scottish person I'd be looking to stay at sandwood bay and make a lunch trip to the cafe as I simply can't justify the cost/value. However, it is altogether improbably situated and a must experience if you are doing a long walk. Just be prepae your expectations.

Food was nice and service was, for the most part, friendly. One server seemed to be having a bad day. Brusque and barely civil. Very expensive for what was served.

We stayed at Taigh Ailean for our trip to Skye. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner there (Breakfast was included with our stay.) The dinner was so delicious! The view is lovely as you can see the loch from the windows of the bar. All the staff is fantastic and so friendly! I had a great dinner and I would describe it, but the menu changes to suit what is in season and available from the sea. Whatever you get, I guarantee it will be the best! Make sure you call ahead and get a reservation as it fills up quickly. I know that they also have live music, which would be great, but we didn't have any while we were there.
