Food was great, staff were excellent! Very accommodating to dietary requirements (dairy and gluten allergy) with a gluten free bun provided with the burger! Staff went absolutely above and beyond with their service, highly recommend!!

It was 5* but now with the table service takeaway materials it's 4* or 3*

Hi! I noticed a few of the staff, about three of them, weren’t really dressed in a way you’d expect in a place that serves food. One of them was wearing a white top that was really see-through and you could clearly see. I totally understand wanting to be comfortable, I don’t always wear a bra myself, but when you're serving customers, something a bit more presentable might come across better. Thank you x

Okay so i’ve been ordering here for awhile, and the food is always insanely good and delivery is quick (the hot dogs are too die for) and today i ordered two hotdogs and a smoothie off uber eats, and they never arrived cause the uber driver gave it to the wrong person, however when i called them they were absolutely amazing, they were really kind and they re did my order and got their own personal driver to deliver so it didn’t happen again, they were absolutely amazing and so polite p. 1000% recommend this place to everyone who comes here and wants amazing customer service and sensational food (it’s actually the best and really good quality)

I went here early in the morning so it wasn't busy. The coffee was excellent (as you expect from Costa) the service efficient, and the member of staff friendly.

Excellent waitress greeted us as we entered. Great to have a country and western cenue in the city. The shots are overpriced for the size but you do get a 1 size fits all cowboy hat so i shouldn't put it down. Although, the texas tornado shot is to be avoided at all costs. It's not a nice tasting drink

On vacation in Edinburgh September 2024

Stayed 2 nights in the Doubletree Hotel in which the brasserie is located. Really looking forward to trying out. Completely unable to as both nights it was a private function. No warning from hotel and no signage to say so, stood like an idiot at the 'please wait here to be seated'. Really don't waste your time even trying!

I miss the old bookcase toilets, and Jekyll & Hyde was a far better name, but it's still a decent boozer.

Probably the best pub in town!! We had so much fun here!!

I recently visited all bar one on George street and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between casual and chic, making it a great spot for both a night out with friends and a relaxed dinner date. The menu offered a diverse selection of dishes, ranging from gourmet burgers to tapas, all crafted with fresh, local ingredients. I opted for the signature burger and they were a hit—generously topped with nacho cheese bacon and onion rings Their drink menu was equally impressive, showcasing a fantastic array of craft beers and signature cocktails. The bartender recommended the clover club a refreshing blend of gin and fresh citrus, which was the highlight of my evening. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I appreciated that they were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. Whether you’re looking for a place to unwind after work or celebrate a special occasion, all Bar One is definitely worth a visit. I’m looking forward to my next outing there!

Came to ‘The Little Bakery’ for a quick brunch before going for a walk along the bridge, so this was a good location for us. I had a hot chocolate to drink and the Veggie pancakes which was a stack of three thick pancakes with a fried egg, avocado, halloumi and baked beans on the side. It was lovely with the sweetness of the pancakes and the savoury of the toppings. My brother had the raspberry and pistachio pancakes which looked lovely and he enjoyed his too. My grandad had an egg roll and coffee, which he thought was delicious. The staff were friendly and quick to come and take our order. The food came quickly within about 10 mins. The only thing that I found was a slight problem was that the egg roll came a while before the pancakes and we didn’t all get to eat together but that was okay. I would’ve also liked a bit more choice with the pancakes that were vegetarian, but I managed to find something that I really liked. The cafe was quiet but still had a nice atmosphere. The decor of the cafe was nice with lots of lights and flowers about which I thought was a nice touch and the toilets were clean. Overall it was a nice experience.

Old school, stripped back bar probably best known nowadays for the connection to Ian Rankins Rebus. Great service, no gimmicks (or fruit machines!!) and well made and reasonably priced rolls. Probably hasn't changed at all in the last 80 years.
