Great customer service. I left behind something of value to me. When I phoned during the busy time someone answered, went and found the item, kept it safely foe me and I picked up this morning. Seems a small thing, but reflects a nice ethos.

Very nice and well furnished place. Possibility of having lunch until late, which is why we decided to stop here. The staff is very friendly and fast service. Vast menu. The food is very good and the dishes are taken care of. Various choice of cocktails and beer. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely meal out tonight, we were served by William, who was brilliant. We were made to feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. There was a slight mistake made with our food order, but it was handled with grace and many apologies. Our server maintained such a level of professionalism even when another table was audibly rude to him and moved tables without checking first- despite this, he ensured our experience was great, so thankyou for a lovely evening 👍🏼 ☺️

Devoid of atmosphere, with staff more interested in having a chin wag than serving the customer.

Great place for dinner and a night out, expected it to be crowded and of course Edinburgh is busy all the time but the staff did not fail to provide the best overall service.

Hen party, cocktails and meal. Well done All Bar One , Jack did us proud. People before use were late, meaning our table was late, but food was ready for us, which was great! Cocktails were amazing and a bt of Prosecco on the house, what can I say! See u soon!

My wife was in with friends Sat 21st Sept 830pm she ordered the chicken skewers and they came raw inside, she said the waitress was lovely and she spoke to the chef,but at no time did management come and apologise to her,luckily she noticed the chicken wasn't cooked properly or she would have been ill,this is a place she visits often,but sadly won't be back ,regards Michael Mcclory

Cocktails were exemplary, didn’t know what I wanted but the barman Zak asked what I like and he suggested the perfect drink for me and my girlfriend. Will definitely come back again

Long wait, no one comes spontaneously to serve us. When a waitress finally comes, she claims that the cocktail ordered contains alcohol even though it says “the perfect non-alcoholic alternative”. We are not English speakers but not completely stupid either. Then she ignores us, so I have to ask another waitress. Not friendly contact. After a week of vacation in the region, this is the one and only time we have been disappointed.

Every time I visit, this place is excellent. Even during the Edinburgh festival which is extremely busy, we're never left waiting for too long and we never feel rushed either. The food is consistently great.

Great atmosphere as usual in an All Bar One venue. We had a bottle of wine, plus 4 Tapas which all tasted very nice, plus they were all very nicely presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some great private placescto sit indoors, plys there is a large seating area outside. Nice clean toilets, which makes a change from some restaurants.

Very nice indeed. Especially 04.00 in the morning. Very nice, freshly cooked, full Scottish breakfast coffee & orange juice. Staff were friendly enough at this hour. Perfect way to start a holiday.

Decent bar along George Street with good atmosphere and nice booths. £16 for a pint and a half and a coke seems a bit steep though

Popped in this afternoon, got a table as some people were just leaving (so left glasses etc on the table). We fancied a bottle of wine (£30) and maybe some food and started to use the QR code on the table. Whilst we were sitting there, several waiting staff passed by, didn’t acknowledge us nor removed the dirty glasses so after 10 mins we decided we can get ignored in Wetherspoons and only pay £12 for a bottle of wine for the privilege.

We were served by the charming Andrei who was fun, efficient and added to the enjoyment of our day.

Phone was okay but nothing special

Only had drinks and snacks and ordered all rounds online at the table, they were delivered quickly. Sat in one of the alcoves on the left as you enter the building which was a nice location to spend a couple of hours between Fringe shows. Found the price of pints a bit on the pricey side even for central Edinburgh.

Disgusting main meal. Pad Thai...congealed mess of noodles. Brocolli hard... Looked like had been lying under the lights for a while. Will I be back..definitely not. First time in long time sent something back. Other main meal purchased was coconut curry, believe there was hardly much taste of coconut, but certainly spicy. UPDATE as per request from all bar one. I have reached out, left 2 messages and no response.

Very modern designed store. Quite stylish in itself but a bit tiring acoustically as it echoes a lot. You place your order online at the table, which I personally found a bit sterile and unromantic, and it's not clear until you get the order whether it worked. The food is okay but a bit carelessly prepared and not too much. I wouldn't go there again.

I went to this bar/restaurant on 26th April 2024. We ordered and paid on the website but the items we ordered were not available. (No mention of this on the website). We were told that we were going to get a refund and that we had to pay for the food we ordered next at the bar. However it has been 4 months and 10 emails and we are still waiting for our refund. Not recommended.

I went to All Bar One on the 26th of April 2024. We ordered the dishes from the website (as we were told from the waiter). However, the stuff we ordered and payed for was not available (nothing was mentioned on the website when we were paying) so they offered us to refund and pay on the spot for other dishes. It has been almost FOUR months now and we have not received our refund. The customer service did not reply to our emails. So we ended up paying TWICE for our food. If you are nearby I would avoid going to this place if you don’t want to get scammed.

Perfect for breakfast. Space, friendly staff and good food. Managed to feed 6 of us for £70 including coffees and fruit juices. The Staff couldn't do enough for us. Recommend the Scottish breakfast.

So disappointing. Incredibly quiet, and having eaten there we now know why. Staff were at best lack luster, not really interested. I had the eggs royale, and it was 'hunt the smoked salmon' as it was tiny pieces under 2 very hard eggs. When the waiter asked how our meal was and we said it wasn't great, his reply was 'I just serve it'. Feels like the accountants are deciding ingredients removing all the love from the kitchen.

Have been in a couple of times recently and always made to feel very welcome! Staff are very attentive (Harry & Laura both times) and drinks are lovely. Nothing to fault!

We visited All Bar One on George Street, Edinburgh yesterday (5th August 2024) for lunch during a day out in the city. Having enjoyed their food at other locations, we were eager to try this branch for the first time. A waitress enquired whether we were there for drinks or a full meal. We opted for the latter and were offered a choice between high tables in the main seating area or a room-like enclosure near the entrance. Due to my husband's back issues, we chose the enclosed area for its proper seating. Upon inspection, we found an unoccupied table that hadn't been cleared. Uncertain if this was our designated spot, we returned to the waitress for clarification. In hindsight, her visible annoyance should have been our cue to leave. Nevertheless, my husband politely mentioned our table preference and mentioned to her that it hasn’t been cleared, presuming she might be unaware. Her response was shockingly rude, snapping about being understaffed and that it will take time to clear the table. Taken aback but still hopeful, we decided to wait at the table. As we sat there, confused and uncomfortable, the same waitress passed by multiple times with other orders, completely ignoring our presence. After waiting for some time, we ultimately decided to leave. What should have been a pleasant dining experience on our day out in Edinburgh was thoroughly spoiled. While I attempted to rationalise the waitress's behaviour to my husband as possibly stemming from being overworked, it hardly excuses such poor customer service. A busy shift is no justification for rudeness and neglect. If they were too busy to accommodate us, a simple explanation would have sufficed, and we would have gladly left. Instead, we were met with unnecessary hostility. Sad to say, but our experience at All Bar One Edinburgh was deeply disappointing. The stark contrast between the welcoming atmosphere we've enjoyed at other branches and the inhospitable service here was truly disheartening. We left feeling unwelcome and upset, which is far from the experience one hopes for when dining out.

Disgraceful service Myself and my wife went on sat afternoon. Not overly busy Question Do you have a table booked ? No just for drinks please Sorry no tables when clearly tables for a couple of drinks ! Oh there might be a table on outside but not inside main bar no thanks nothing available. About to walk out and server said oh I can give you a table for an hour. Brilliant thanks very much. Then it gets worse!!! Went to bar 2 servers making 6 cocktails the other server taking an age to serve a beer looks at me waiting and then proceeded to serve someone else who walking in after us ! I said excuse me to one server still making cocktails 10 min by now !!!! Is anyone else serving ? Answer NO Walked out F disgraceful service for city centre bar and not even that busy at 3 pm on a sat afternoon Not the first time service has been S in bar Will never be back in Disgraceful service
