Really enjoyed my visit to All Bar One. I went with a friend for food and drinks at dinner time. I received a voucher for a free cocktail in my emails so decided to visit for a meal. The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable about the dishes on offer. The server was very good at finding out about the allergens in dishes which was important for myself due to a metabolic condition. The food was really tasty and I thought the selection was pretty good. The atmosphere was also really awesome.

Came in for breakfast at the weekend. Do not get the Avocado Toast- it’s a single thin bit of toast and a minimal layer of avocado and one poached egg. Sweetcorn fitters much better.

Zak was fab! Kept us entertained all afternoon! Cocktails were lush 🍸

We were 5 mature rugby supporters from Newport staying in Edinburgh for a rugby match. The food was first class, we had the rib eye steak and the calamari. Service was friendly and swift and the waiter made us feel so welcome.

Met a chum for a pre-prandial drink. I went non-alcoholic and their version of an Aperol Spritz did not disappoint. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

My friend and I ook advantage of a 5pm offer of 4 tapas and either a bottle of wine or 2 cocktails, and we were both delighted with it. We had it prior to a theatre matinee. The food, the wine,and the friendly efficient.service made us resolve to have further visits. A similar and only slightly more expensive offer is available from All Bar One itself, but only on a Tuesday from 4pm.

Zak was very welcoming and relaxed . We came for an 18th. He was so fun , we were lots of different age groups and he was entertaining to all of us. The cocktails were delicious and he coached with a smile.

We went here for a "tapas lunch". Our choice was garlic and chilli prawns; spicy sticky chicken; brisket tacos and chicken skewers. We had some chips too and could not fault any of the food, it was all spot on. To make our lunch a little more outstanding, we included a cocktail each. I had a mojito and my friend had a Long Island Iced Tea, both were excellent. Would we do it all again? You are right we would. Oh, AND, the staff were lovely, in particular, one of the waiters had the most genuine smile I have ever seen from waiting staff.

Zak hosted our cocktail making for a hen do in Edinburgh. He was amazing at explaining and really friendly!

We had the Tapas and wine. It was lovely, the food was delicious. Our server was really sweet, he recommended to us which tapas and drinks to get, and he was very friendly and accomodating.

Serving staff quite grumpy and not very pleasant. The ordering through the app was good. Food and drink arrived quite quickly. Everyone who ordered chips with extras, didn't get the toppings at all on the chips (didn't want to make a fuss at the time but on speaking later on, to half the table mentioned chips weren't what we paid for) seemed like a bit if a scam tbh. Also no plates, glasses were taken away leaving us sitting with dishes from nibbles, plates, glasses everywhere. A bit disorganised, waitress said she'd clear the table but didn't. Food was really good and we enjoyed but the service was terrible! Plus we didn't get what we paid for with regards to toppings on the chips.

After a long hike, it was wonderful to relax and warm up in All Bar One. 🌡️The heating was nice and high because this is not an unnecessary luxury in February. ❄️ Especially because it was snowing! The food tasted good, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was also pleasant. A great place for a (quick) lunch break. 🍽️ The deal of a lunch snack in combination with a drink for £12.50 was a reasonable price, but it's a shame that you are obliged to pay an additional 10% as service costs. I prefer to decide for myself how much to tip.

Visited yesterday (Saturday lunchtime) and had no booking we managed to get a table for 2 but glad we went when we did as it filled up quickly by 1230. Great service as the bar staff very pleasant. The small plates as great well worthy the money and combined with Korean BBQ chicken burger and fries made a perfect meal for 2 which we shared. Absolutely faultless and will definitely return next time I am in the city.

If you're paying top dollar for drinks you, would expect to see a decent standard of housekeeping. Eventually attended to after we had been seated 20 minutes and, after two employees had walked past the table. "The standards you except are the standards you walk past" quote comes to mind!

My friend and I had a catch up and the groupon deal of wine and 4 tapas. It was a no brainer as I’ve been here before but I think this was the best visit as the service was great. I can’t remember the waiter but a young man who is full of banter and smiles. Will definitely return. Definitely a top 5 spot for me in Edinburgh

Had a private area for a work's get together. Robbie and his team were brilliantly attentive without being intrusive, they were all very personable. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious and all served very quickly. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Zak was fabby at the cocktail afternoon for my pals hen do! It was so much fun, the activity itself was great but his chat and banter made the experience!

Visited here with a group of 17 for a birthday. Service as always was really good very helpful and friendly. We ate from a set menu with good choices. Just a tip make sure when ordering drinks look at the pricing on the menu first.

Great atmosphere and good company, worth a night out! Went to make cocktails with family and would recommend to others, friendly staff.

Been several times in the past - booked for breakfast, it’s a lovely building, quick and very friendly genuine service, however breakfast seemed to look and taste dry it’s like it’s been under hot lights and just plated up it was that dry I left most of it, no breakfast menus on the table so ordered blind, iv had better food in this past however it won’t put me off as in the past it’s been good

Food and service was amazing. Came here for some tapas with the Wowcher deal, stayed for longer because the team were amazing. Will and Katie’s service and chat was second to none, and the drinks made by Harry were amazing, he even included some rosemary garnish on my drink which compliment it perfectly.

Came for brunch with my boyfriend and the service in here was great. Food was lovely and the staff were so polite and just seem to enjoy working there. Will 100% be back!

Design and layout of bar first class although people sitting at the high tables behind us, their backsides were just about on our shoulders and not a great outlook when having lunch

We just love this place and it was so busy but it made the afternoon very special! Everyone enjoying themselves and meeting friends! Our server was fantastic chatty and checked in us to check everyone was ok! We love the place can’t wait to get back and thank you!

Was there Friday 13th December for a work xmas night out, even though the place was extremely busy the service and food were still excellent.

What a fabulous night spent here for our Xmas night out. We were a large group having dinner and drinks and we were not disappointed at all. The food was amazing, the service was brilliant, honestly they could not have done more for us. In the past when I've been out elsewhere in large groups it can be a bit of a wait for everyones food but not here, it was all delivered promptly, hot and with a smile. Such a great atmosphere too, safe to say we will all be back.

First time I’ve personally visited all bar one we had a table reserved for our Christmas lunch. Food was amazing and well presented! A big thank you to Zak amazing waiter and so friendly. Zak made sure everything was good and everyone was pleased! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh great food and reasonably priced ☺️

Visited yesterday with family, but who knew all of Edinburgh would be there! We hadn’t booked a table as it was all a bit impulsive, but got a table which was reserved for 2.30pm, so we had about 1.5 hours on it. Got the charcuterie board and the nachos, between four of us, really nice and filled a hole! We just had one round of drinks. It was ok, but as it was so busy, the staff looked stressed and it felt a bit like a cattle mart- one on one out, with not lots of pleasantries. If quieter I’m sure it would be different.

Visiting from Norfolk for a few days. 4 of us had lunch and drinks. The food was excellent all cooked perfectly and we all had different things a steak, poke bowl and 5 small plates. Deserts we're lovely too. Laura who served us was spot on. If you haven't tried it yet we'll worth a visit.

Lovely food & cocktails, atmosphere lovely vibe but got seated & once presented living social voucher at end of tapas & cocktails. Reception quite snotty & advised that not All Bar One voucher! We genuinely had come to wrong Bar when voucher was for Bar 52. We were shocked and upset as don’t know Edinburgh and came from Durham!!!! Yes it was my mistake for going to wrong bar but voucher was checked by reception and we were then seated! We were presented with a £156 bill!!!!!! After stating we not happy it was reduced but it was unexpected when we booked voucher for cheap day out😱
