Food is amazing and so cheap not expensive at all been coming for a while now and love it staff are so nice

The food is always piping hot. I like that they provide a table service so we can come in and sit down. The food they serve is good home cooked “stodge” (food that fills you up) Nice macaroni and hot chips, lasagna, milkshakes and cakes ect. The premises is immaculately clean. It’s no wonder they’re always busy.

Pasta for Macaroni cheese had not been seasoned when cooked . Tasteless!! Chip fryers need oil changed as chips tasted of old oil 🤢

Went in for 2 coffee 2 cakes..waited for 35 mins didn't get served..they served. 2 other couples that came in after us.had enough and walked out.terrible service

Food always good...last few months there's been a young waitress started and she's absolutely useless ignores people who been waiting serves others first..few times people have got up walked out as they fed up waiting..and she just laughs.. Get some decent staff in... But as food goes never a complaint and I eat here 2 to 3 times a week 😊

My first time in yesterday with my partner a got chicken curry and chips my partner got a roll n square sausage tattie scone and fried onions and 2 cans of coke a got my curry n chips within 5 minutes other members of the public came in got served after I got my curry n chips my partner waited 15 minutes for her roll then other members of the public came in and got served before my partner other members of the public came in and were waiting to get served one of them ended going to the counter to place her order it was my first and last time a will never be back

Had delicious baked potato, tuna mayo and salad. Salad absolutely tasty and fresh, potato done ferfectly. Niece had roll with bacon and egg friend had latte. All for a fiver. Be back again. 😃

Never again! First time in this cafe. Ordered filled rolls and 2 coffees. Coffee eventually arrived but my cup was cracked on the rim and it was black. Asked for another cup. Waited 25 minutes before paying for our coffee by which time no rolls had appeared. No explanation nor an apology.

would never go in here again..there was baby flies hoovering around in the air near my food as I was eating and I also noticed that the bottom of the food counter was filthy and dirty

Toilets were dirty the floor or skirting had nog cleaned for a while. We had to ask e times to get table cleaned before we got out food. And customers details were just lying at front door. So everyone could see them . So not good wont rush back

I will say that it was very cold in here on my visit even though it was not particularly cold outside, I has the pasta arrabbiata which was barely warm, watery flavourless sauce and was very over seasoned. However, I would say that this is a very nice cafe to go to for cake and coffee, my family and I had some baked goods afterwards which were fantastic!

I always go there on a Saturday for a read of my paper and a tea and to get a plate of the most delicious, tastiest home made chicken soup. Love it and first class service and always been made very welcome 😀

I use this coffe shop regularly and I love the coffee. Staff are very friendly and obliging. I have not tried main meals, but I can recommend the all day breakfast.

This is the home made steak pie and chips a friend and I were served today. Think it speaks for itself really. 4 lumps of dried out tough meat, burnt pastry and a plate of gravy

This is an excellent little cafe centrally situated in the pedestrian area of Bathgate . Very helpful and courteous staff and a first class selection of choices. Keep up the good work folks.

Always come here to meet friends. The staff are so friendly and courteous. Today i was very disappointed. I ordered steakpie. And was met with a plate of chips and peas. Swimming in gravy. And 4 bits of steak for the pie. Wouldnt have said they were even substantial size either. I asked the waitress, and she said its is manger who said that is all we have to give customers. I felt like i paid 6pound for a plate of chips and gravy. Wasnt impressed.

Coffee was good, little polish greasy spoon cafe in Bathgate prices were decent, staff friendly nice burgers ( From frozen ) tasty chips and chippy sauce no complaints pleasant nice cafe all round.

I hate to buck a trend and most reviews here are glowing and that is fine but our visit was just a wee bit disappointing. We had early appointments close by and on a very cold morning decided a cuppa and a couple of breakfast rolls would be just the thing. We ordered at the counter and our order took a few minutes longer than I expected. Pricing here is great and the place was clean and comfortable it was not until we left my partners said”that was not very nice tea and my roll on sausage was over cooked “ I was not surprised my coffee was less than piping hot and my over cooked sausage was on a decidedly cold roll as if it had been in a cool box or chiller. So although not a disaster it could have been better. It’s the little details that make cafes great as opposed to o.k.

If you want a giant plate full of sausage and egg with a big mug of tea, then this may not be the place for you. If you however looking for reasonably priced lunch or snack delivered with care in a lovely smart cafe, then you will love it. Friendly staff, good prices, classy presentation of lovely food. What's not to like.

I work just around the corner from the cafe often like to order my lunch from here. I have never been disappointed, the place is spotless beautifully decorated and the staff are lovely!

Interior bright and colourful. Clean though took a wee while for them to fully clean one of the tables and floor after a group with lots of young children left.

My husband and I were heading for breakfast in bathgate whilst shopping. We came across this cafe bistro which we had not seen before. The decor is nice and bright the place looked immaculate so we decided to have something to eat. The service is quick and efficient. The waitress was very cheerful and really nice. The food was well presented and hot. We both enjoyed our food and the tea was really good (sometimes tea can be cheap tasting) but not this one. The cafe has a nice aura to it and prices are really good.

Popped in here for the first time today and really liked it. We all had breakfast, my bacon roll was great and my dads all day breakfast was amazing! And so reasonably priced! They do all sorts on the menu, so plenty of choice! And I used the toilet while I was in there and it was lovely! Clean and nicely decorated. The staff were really friendly too. Give it a try! Will definitely be back.

Spotted this new cafe which recently opened in George Street, Bathgate while out with the family. The menu looked reasonable and we ordered a cheeseburger and chips and an all day breakfast. The place was pretty empty when we arrived but started to fill up. However as we waited we realised everyone who arrived after us was being served their food while we still had nothing. After almost an hour we asked the staff what the hold up was, only to be told our food order had been left on the counter and nothing had been cooked. Despite being a new business this is an appalling level of service so we won't be returning.
