The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Edinburgh and Lothian

Very expensive for what you get, I found there was tiny little portions at 5 star prices. I will not return as there is far better value elsewhere, i.e very nearby !

Went in on a cold windy day, could be any day here I suppose, I was reading the signs, first time in, and the syrups were what I believed to be paired. So vanilla and hazelnut then a wee space and the other flavours were there. Turns out that even though the syrups are individually flavoured that everyone written would make a fantastic combo. Soooooo, I went with the bottom one, white chocolate and burnt Orange. Which is two separate syrups, but don't let it out you off as it was immense! What a pairing, what an accidental pairing recommendation haha 😂 I got 2 flat whites one with the combo and one plain just in case. I wish I got two with the syrup combos. I will be back, got a cheeky croissant to go to and it was great. An interaction I won't forget and the place looks lovely, nice menu, great coffee, great staff. Seats up stairs. Get in and grab a syrup combo!

Best burger in ages, with meat from the almost-local butcher. Staff very friendly. Good choices for vegetarians. Family friendly - busy at lunch time.

Great coffee, great cheese and fruit scones and savoury pastries. The staff were really lovely too. Just off the royal mile.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Bobby and his staff for an excellent funeral buffet. The food was first class and the service from both waitresses was second to none. I have no hesitation in recommending 'Thistles' for any function.

Wonderful , food , service, and ambience, I had their Cullen Skink and their Fish of the day main course, on my visit it was a Tandoori style Salmon Steak, Bombay potatoes and a riata inspired side salad , both starter and main were excellent . They also make a really good Negroni … , the staff were all friendly and could not be more helpful so to marks all round from me

Este es un encantador bar tradicional, situado en el lado sur de Edimburgo. Es un hito de Edimburgo para los verdaderos ales. No se sirve comida aquí, que es genial (no huele a comida). El personal experimentado es excelente. Shirley & Malcolm son estrellas. También es posible reservar mesas. Como está justo enfrente del restaurante chino Kwok, es muy conveniente. Un gran pub local. Un viejo pub histórico en la Guía Good Ale. Los perros en plomo también son bienvenidos.

Great traditional bar with fantastic beers, wines and whisky. Bar team are really friendly, the atmosphere is condusive to chat as no banging music! Great little find, close to our weekend accommodation

Felt very intimidated when I walked in to use toilet and then purchase an item. Woman with blonde hair in a ponytail shouted at me and was very rude and making faces at me for using the toilet first after stating I was going to buy an item. Before being so concerned about you toilet use, you should probably have a look at your customer service :)

Ich habe für den 31.12.22 2 Wochen in voraus gebucht. Wir sind extra mit dem uber von unserem Hotel (old town) dort hingefahren. Ich habe 3 Tage zuvor immer wieder Reminder erhalten von Grams ob ich die Reservierung wahrnehme etc. wir haben uns sehr gefreut und dann standen wir vor verschlossenen Türen. Sie haben seit dem 18.12 Pause. Wir haben keine Information bekommen, dass es geschlossen ist. Keine Weiterempfehlung, da schlechte Organisation.

Excellent meal, perfectly cooked by head chef Sean. Professionally served by Willie and Gemma. I had the brie then the roast beef. Perfectly cooked. Claire had the pate, George's home made recipe, then the scampi. Well done team .. 11 out of 10 xx

Great service and excellent quality food. Locally sourced produce. Breakfast bap with haggis. Yum. We were blessed with a beautiful day, so took advantage of the outdoor seating. Superb views. Little treat for the dog. Great food, great coffee, great service...what's not to love?

Una cálida bienvenida por parte de los anfitriones de este precioso bed and breakfast de Edimburgo. Habitación excepcionalmente limpia y acogedora. Ropa de cama y toallas de muy buena calidad. No hay nada que pueda criticar a Aaron Lodge. Estamos muy contentos de haber encontrado esta "joya" y sin duda no dudaríamos en recomendarla a cualquiera que desee un lugar limpio y cómodo para disfrutar explorando la ciudad.
