Visiting Chicago from DC and so so jealous I don’t have a spot like Rose’s in my neighborhood. I was alone, but didn’t feel alone. Amazing staff, food, and music. Highly recommend the brisket! I was nervous about it because I’m from Texas but it exceeded my expectations. 10/10!

Stayed this weekend after a long journey down from the Black Country. Lovely comfortable room awaited us along with very friendly welcoming staff. Food was great not just usual pub meal but proper home cooked stuff with plenty of choice. Great atmosphere in the pub too. Recommend to anyone visiting the area. See you again soon.

i've been visiting this café for a few years now, and have always had a pleasant visit, though if you're not into crowds then get there early. it's popular for good reason. great coffee, food, and lovely staff

Went for Sunday lunch following recommendation. Excellent quality home cooked food and very reasonable prices. Staff polite and friendly. Will definitely return soon.

Had a great experience this morning here with my family, food not only looks good, but tasted good the amount of food you get is amazing , it was so much we had to take some home ! Also want to give a good shout out to the waitress that was working not sure of her name but we went in early this morning , was greeted with a smile, and well taken care of!! Definitely will be coming back ! 💗💗

Really enjoyed my meal here. Stopped here thanks to a trip advisor suggestion on my way back from a festival. The place did not disappoint. Really friendly staff and the food was so tasty and fresh. I got the super roast as i was very much in need for some proper food haha. Loved it. Finished off the meal with a gorgeous apple, raisin and cinnamon crumble. If you are in the area then i really recommend this place.

My partner and I visited Friday night, and from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel completely at home. The staff checked in on us throughout the evening to make sure we were happy, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch the name of our main server, but everyone working that evening was absolutely lovely and professional. To celebrate me passing my driving test (only 30 years late!), they surprised me with a delicious brownie, complete with “Congratulations” written in chocolate sauce — such a thoughtful touch! As for the food, I genuinely don’t think I’ve had anything that good in ages. Highly recommend this place. And to the waiter we chatted with at the end: best of luck with your driving test on June 26th — you’ve got this! Trust your judgement and be confident.

Delicious and delightful. It feels incredible to go to a restaurant and not have to worry about getting glutened. Charming atmosphere too. We had the vegan lasagna and the gnocchi. Both sublime. Even the vegan cheesecake was wonderful. Wish I lived closer!

This is a hidden gem, up a quiet street off the main shopping area in Hexham. Our first visit, but now a firm favourite. We chose from the lunchtime menu - the garlic mushrooms and the black pudding with bacon and Diane sauce, we then had mussels and the tilapia in a beautiful tarragon sauce. Absolutely delicious! Nice surroundings and very friendly staff topped off a great experience - we will be back!

3rd time to try here and two things never change: (1) the food is just amazing! And (2) staff/service is always friendly.

$100 stolen! The gift card was “empty.” I was told the matter would be looked into January, after a two week vacation. I was told the gift card number would be searched for manually, in the “old system. I was now told there is no old system and the money was gone. There was a “miscommunication.” I was lied to and continue to be lied to. I was also hung up on. What a disgrace.

Good coffee and alternative milks. Not much gluten free though unfortunately for me. My husband loves their sandwiches and cakes.

Staff were nice and food was ok, but tbh was really underwhelming and not worth anywhere near the prices they charge. Some dishes were really under seasoned, bland, and lacked flavour. Terrace area is lovely though and service was quick and friendly. Wouldn't go back.
