We visit this place every couple of weeks, and we all love it. Food it great, and the service is top. Can't fault this place at all. 100% yes

The Beach kitchen Review - Sunday Brunch the girls working behind the counter took a very long time to give us our menu , I tried to get their attention several times almost intentional ignoring me but looking at me from the counter to our table. The blonde girl then attended to a young man before us, who had come in after us ? who then was served his food first which was very strange and quite rude. We waited a very long time for our food and whilst waiting we noticed someone else came in she brought a menu to their table straight away.? We were so puzzled. The whole experience was soured by this customer service I was looking forward to having my meal here and was just left completely shunned by the whole experience the food was lovely (thank you chef ) and the lady who served our food was lovely and bubbly but the young brunette and blonde girl need to do better. It felt like mean girl behaviour. I don’t expect to go out spend my hard earned money on a treat brunch to be treated like I have done something wrong like I’m less than other customers.

What a fantastic find, the breakfast here is great. I had the English breakfast and it was all very delicious. Highly recommended.

From the coffee to the sausages, everything is quality. More expensive than the usual greasy spoon cafe's, but you get what you pay for. Always come here

Brilliant Classic English Cafe, top quality food and friendly service.. to put it a better way, it's like stepping back into a happy memory of cafes been and gone. A lovely reminder of how a cafe should be.. this sits in my top five for the Eastbourne area!!!

Disgusted. Egg over cooked. Greasy bits of potato, tiny piece of toast and streaky bacon... oh and nearly an hour to get food. Cheap and nasty. Avoid.

This place is great. We're a family of four, one lactose intolerant, one gluten intolerant, two are vegetarian and one vegan. This cafe was great at accommodating us on our last day of holiday. The portions were huge and service was great. We got there at 10.15am on a Saturday without booking. It seems we got lucky as the place soon filled up, we heard others had booked. Seems very popular with locals. It's a bit out of the way, down a residential street but worth discovering. We'd happily return for breakfast if we are in the area again.

100% best cafe in Eastbourne Real sausages and decent coffee is rare from a cafe in Eastbourne. Always bust here for a reason. We've been a few times, always good. Happy to pay good money for good food.

This is my wife and I's go to for breakfast if we go out. Food is amazing, staff are always really friendly, location works for us and just hasn't ever got it wrong. Excellent.

English breakfast went in a treat, the server lilly has great customer service skills and the malachai kid was a sound fella but he didn’t look me in the eye once. Overall, would go again 😀

Hi! The place was really busy but the staff, Ella, Elise, Annie were on top of everything. We sat outside with our doggies as it’s a really dog friendly place. When the breakfast arrived it was hot and plentiful, prosecco was soo nice ! It was a very pleasant visit and the staff were full of smiles. Will be coming back Thankyou x

Great place tucked away off the seafront, staff friendly and excellent brekkie

This cafe is incredible. The food is so good and the quality is superb. The black pudding is the best I've ever tasted, as was the sausage. The Yorkshire tea was made perfect to what I like (a strong cuppa) and my wife and myself are so pleased and full to have come to this cafe on a whim. The staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is full of chat and laughter around us.

What an awesome way to start the last day of our mini moon, the Proper Breakfast is sooo worth enjoying, the atmosphere chilled and we are very satisfied

We had a great breakfast on Father's Day. We didn't book but they managed to squeeze us in. Had a lovely full English and a mini version with added hash browns. There was a little wait for food but it arrived hot and was filling. Bacon was overcooked. Great hot chocolate! Would recommend and look forward to visiting again.

Stumbled across The Beach Kitchen and was very impressed. Friendly staff and the food was delicious, the Shakshouka was particularly superb. I thoroughly recommend.

Lovely place to grab a breakfast in a not so busy area. The food was great and the service was amazing! We will definitely come back again if we pass through here.

The beach kitchen was grubby, there was dead flies on window ledges which were also dusty, tables were not wiped, I ordered some tea, the mug looked dirty, with old stains on and chipped. The whole place needs a good clean including the front of shop and the loos. The food looked the part, but was a let down , breakfast: streaky bacon was hard , eggs were poorly cooked. Staff were pleasant enough, but to laid back and to laxy daisy . More effort needed especially on cleaning. Over priced 5/10

Great little place for good food and service

Visited for breakfast today and couldnt fault the food or service. However a member of staff started cleaning down the walls, tables and chair legs and the smell of cleaning products was overpowering and put a dampener on our breakfast. Cleaning down like this should be done when the cafe is closed not when paying customers are eating.

I went for the first time this morning for a full English fry up. The food was of a really high standard, good portion size and delicious (not too bad for money either). They were also very accommodating as I have a milk allergy, and it's a lovely little cafe. Great service, will definitely visit again. 😊

Went to the Willingdon Golf Club Sunday Roast provided by the Beach Kitchen team. FANTASTIC 😊 Great location and wonderful service. Good starter options. Five different roast meat section and great vegetable choice. Delicious deserts. So glad we found this delicious roast

Good food and good portion sizes. A little more than some cafes but the quality is worth the little bit extra.

He asked me to read the vision test board, but there were two boards and I was reading the wrong board, but he did not tell me that this is not the correct board.

Had a great breakfast here with my girlfriend. Had the ‘Proper’ breakfast with a side of black pudding and had bubble and squeak instead of chips which was very well presented. My girlfriends off the menu request was accommodated being a fried slice, beans and poached eggs. They provided a huge pot of tea which produced 5-6 cups which was great. The black pudding was crumbling when it should be firm. The egg yolks were very pale, I prefer bolder yellow/orange yolks which come from healthier hens. The menus were ripped and the milk jug was dirty inside. The staff were welcoming and attentive. I would recommend The Beach Kitchen.

A gorgeous meal, lots of it and a good price. The service was lovely but I would recommend booking. A very accommodating cafe with exceptional quality. Would recommend all the meals.

Well, visited this cafe today, in the middle of housing estate, I wasn't sure, but wow 👌, I was very impressed, the fish and chips, with thick cut chips was outstanding, the fish was size of plate. The staff were very helpful, assuring me there was always someone to help me if I wanted anything more, then, at the end of the meal, I wanted something sweet, they don't NORMALLY, do sweet, but found two lovely pieces of pecan and chocolate gateau, I will definitely be back, when visiting Eastbourne again... thank you staff and chef 👩‍🍳 😊 🙏 happy customer.

Not quite as good this visit, but still up there. If having breakfast or toast it's complusory that you state if you want butter, else you'll get lashings of marg. My hounds previously enjoyed free sausage, but after our visit we found we could have requested (sensibly not causing issues for dogs with allergies) - if only we'd know, we just thought they were cutting back on such luxuries. Music was turned down on request.

Good food, didn't enjoy the coffee, service was quite slow with just one person attending to a full room so plates didn't end up being cleared when done with and didn't get the check at the table - had to go to the counter and pay after a long time waiting. Nothing to write home about, probably won't visit again.

Unfortunately the sausages were not of the same quality, got pricier but so did many other places. It used to be almost faultless.

I love this place so much if i could afford to eat here everyday i would the food is so rich and nice theres kids options breakfast is amazing . Staff are young and friendly and easy to get along with . Music is nice but not to load , i would recommend eating outside for anyone who has autism or and sensory overload as it can be load but all in all i really really love this place so much .

Really lovely out of the way place, food was incredible, there were 11 of us all with varying meals and absolutely no complaints! Everything from pancakes, vegy breakfasts, full English and mine, the breakfast burger. The only warning is the huge portions! Good luck cleaning your plate!

Lovely place for brunch, great food and service.

Bit of an odd location, but really glad we discovered this place by accident! Quite a few other tables about, which is usually a good sign. We both settled on the Breakfast Burger special and were very pleased with our selection. The whole thing was moist and delicious - we didn't actually need any sauce for it, but the breakfast burger also came with a nice small serving of crispy potatoes which was just a really nice extra. Good selection of drinks too including a good range of coffees. Next time we're back in Eastbourne, we'll try and come along here again!

Plain cafe from the outside, off the beaten track, but food and service are outstanding, especially shakshuka and coffee. Quite often a queue formed because it was so popular.

Absolute little gem of a find! Great food reasonably priced. Not too fancy and yet not a greasy spoon. So, perfect to take the missus so she can have a fancy breakfast with avocado and stuff, while you have a proper fry-up and no fancy stuff. That way you're both happy! Staff are friendly and efficient. Word of warning though, this is a popular place (quite right so!) So reservations are ESSENTIAL!

One of the best breakfasts to be had in Eastbourne. The best ingredients, many sorced locally, make for a fine meal . Unfortunately, the prices reflect this, and it's not a cheap option compared to many of the other local cafés, but quality costs.

Absolutely loved our visit to this little cafe - it’s quite hard to come by new finds, but this was certainly one that we’ll be coming back to. Great options for veggies for brunch and the coffee was nice too

Stopped for lunch with 4 adults and two children. Good selection of food and drink on offer and included a kids menu. Kids both had pizza which was a decent size and very tasty. Adults had paninis and some skinny fries and these were all very tasty. Reasonably priced and great views of the sea. Disabled access too.

The service was terrible, the food was average and expensive. We were shoved up against the wall in a tiny overcrowded room and expected to enjoy ourselves. Their opening hours are crazy and inconsistent. Ridiculous place, never again!

Staff always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is high quality and you can taste it. Certainly not the cheapest breakfast you'll ever buy but, you get what you pay for. Generally you'll need to book as it gets quite busy. The cafe is small and can feel a little claustrophobic when full as the tables are so close together. Despite this, I can't recommend the Beach Kitchen enough.

Lovely place think they should have a dog corner. I love dogs but not by my table jumping up. Food was lovely .

What a find! Highly recommended but I would recommend you book. They turned away 4 groups/couples in the hour we were there because they were full. A table was free for about 30secs before next booking came in. The service was great, the breakfast was amazing (had The Hipster), great portion and so tasty. The tomato salsa had some heat and flavour. It was really lovely. Would highly recommend and would return.

A tucked away treasure of Eastbourne! Lovely and welcoming staff that cater to even the strictest food requirements (IE Vegan/Gluten free). Breakfast is stellar! The coffee, amazing! Love this place. Great cafe tucked away on aside street. Everything is freshly cooked to order. There's everything from the English breakfast through to scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. There's always a range of specials on offer to. Full table service and nothing is a problem if you want to swap or add anything. I would recommend booking a table
