Ninkaci in Eastbourne

Small but beautifully decorated. Well presented and tasty drinks. Staff were pleasant.

Can see the potential.Nice decor, la4he selection of spirits. Unfortunately it felt like we were an inconvenience to them because we came in a group and ordered as one. From that moment felt uncomfortable. Will try again in future minus the group. Also felt very cliquey However DJ Fergus was playing and he's always welcome sight. Great tune selector

Great little bar, got a bit too busy for us later on, but the people in there were having a great time. Range of ages from early 20's to mid 50's. Staff were great, very smiley and friendly. Mens loo was rank, could do with a check every hour.

Unfortunately, this is Camra's other new listing in the 2025 good beer guide. I have no idea why it's in: doesn't serve real ale (supercold keg beer only), music (if that's what you can call it) was way TOO LOUD. Unfriendly staff, and generally highly avoidable.

Love this bar and it really comes alive at night, thanks to DJ Fergus.

Good choice of beer in a bar that is not easy to find. It's worth the effort though.

I would love to be able to write a review... I tried to visit this bar last night but couldn't get into the building! I could see people in there and tried ringing the bell on the keypad which then told me access was granted, but the door didn't open. Please explain how I get in so that I can write a review and hopefully give you 5 stars instead of 1. Thank you.

Amazing place, lovely people and super chilled vibes....plus black toilet paper...say no more!! It's the little things and this is the one....just don't tell everyone as its small and intimate, and I like a seat.

Easily the best bar in Eastbourne no kids of chavs like all the other places, amazing selection of local and rare beers and beautiful wines and spirits.. This place is classy and attracts a lovely and older crowd. Top dj on a Saturday and live music. The staff are all amazing couldn't fault it at all it's now my new regular. Best thing in Eastbourne for years.

Lovely little hidden away Bar, great selection of craft beer and cider, spirits, food and cigars! Staff were very friendly and patient.

A great find for beer and alcohol lovers. A cosy and really well thought out bar. This place is quite empty when I came but very busy on the weekends with a DJ. I ordered a selection of the beers and it was great to have a selection better than the regular pubs. There is lots of seating and a really comprehensive drinks menu as well as cigars. All in all a trendy cool place for a drink and disabled friendly too. Will definitely be back.

This is probably the best bar in town. It's small but nicely designed. Excellent drinks selection, great staff, clientele and music. I haven't rated the food as I have not eaten here.

What a great place, proper range of craft beers , well presented in a small tucked away bar. Very close to the station, you will want your train to be delayed!

Don't understand the one stars but I suppose if you're incapable of knowing how to order and appropriate behaviour at a pub/bar then it shouldn't be surprising... Anyway if you, like most adults do know how it's a wonderful little place. It has a great selection of beers which they kindly let you try a little before you buy. Large selection of some very good whiskies. I found the staff to be pleasant and are happy to help you pick out something you'd like. It has benefitted from the move from midway along the back of the enterprise to the corner. It's much easier to find, has improved facilities as well as space for live music. It's really the only place like it in Eastbourne and comparable to some of the good ones up in London. A hidden gem which is becoming a bit of a destination in Eastbourne now.

We choose Ninkaci for our engagement party. The owners and the staff couldn’t have done more to make our special evening perfect. The wine and beer selection is like no where else. Ninkaci makes me feel like I’m in an exclusive London venue, the decor is exceptional and I am always greeted with a warm and friendly team.

Nice evening at Ninkaci, went there to celebrate daughters birthday, staff had decorated the tables we reserved with balloons, disco was good , all in all a great night.

A great find in the centre of Eastbourne with a fantastic selection of whiskies and local craft beers. Wednesday was fairly quiet but still had a great evening. The bar staff were very pleasant and really helpful. Certainly worth a visit

What a great addition to our town. If you like craft beer this one if for you. Ever changing taps, modern interior and clean toilets. Always great to see complimentary sanitary products in ladies. Pink toilet tissue defo stands out. Love it!

You can drink on site or outside, when the weather's fine. Quite nice selection of beers, most of them from local breweries. Correct service. Just behind the Train Station, so very convenient.

Found this place by chance and it is a gem. Lovely venue, great service, fab choice of temping drinks. Nice strong ales, just our thing!

Had a date night here because it was recommended and we thought the photos looked nice so we were excited to give it a try. Location was a bit tricky to find since maps led us behind the bar instead. Can’t say much about parking because we live close enough to walk here. After a bit of searching, we found the entrance and thought the interior was lovely. Nobody acknowledged us at the door for a bit and we weren’t led to a table. The staff told us to pick a table. “You can do here or in the back”. So we led ourselves to the back and waited for someone to service us. No one brought us a menu for ages and we had to ask for one. It took us awhile to get the attention of the staff to take our order and it had us thinking that this was self-service / counter service at this point. I kid you not, they were just laughing and chatting away to each other with no care in the world. Mind you, the restaurant was extremely slow at the time we came in so there was no excuse for the inattentive service. The wine was decent I guess but the small plates were nothing special. We would’ve ordered another glass each but sadly not a single staff member checked in on us at our table so we decided to just leave. Yet again, we had to get up to get the attention of a worker and ask for our bill. This place potential but staff are too lazy and inattentive. It’s a shame that they lost potential regulars. Will not be returning.

I visited Ninkaci on a Friday night and there were only 3 other tables occupied so it was not a busy night. The staff did not give us a menu when we sat down, or even look at us for 10 minutes. I had to go up and get a menu myself when I realised they weren't coming. Two members of staff were leaning against the bar smoking e-cigarettes and chatting to each other for the whole night. I had to go up again, and tell them I was ready to order. The wine was nice, but not worth the wait and bad service. I won't be returning, and that's a shame as the decor and place is nice, it's the terrible service that lets Ninkaci down.

Great new(ish) bar in a shopping mall behind the railway station. Some great ales on tap - can recommend the stout - and in cans, up to 12%. Great staff, nice interior.

Cracking little place. Staff go out of their way to make you comfortable and for a small tap room it fits a few people which creates a nice atmosphere. Great selection of drinks and tapas at really good prices

We love this place! The staff are always friendly - nothing is too much trouble. The craft beers are excellent, some fabulous bites to eat, and they have the finest red wine - especially the Tandem Italian Cabernet!

Nice little bar, selling craft beers on tap, craft beers from cans, whiskies, wines and coffee. Cans and Draught beers also available to takeaway. Close to the railway station. Friendly, welcoming staff.

Ninkaci is a fine small and cosy bar with a very good range of craft beer both on draught and in cans, some of which are from Sussex breweries. CAMRA members like myself will be pleased to know that they can score a couple of draught beers as they are Key Keg. Also available is a good selection of wines and spirits, lovers of Single Malt Whisky will not be disappointed too. Very friendly and attentive service by the proprietors and the team make Ninkaci well worth a visit. An absolute gem of a bar !!

Very expensive, but good beer. We went with a small baby and we were made to feel very very unwelcome when we left. There were only two other customers in the whole place, but for some reason the management were unhappy that we had allowed our baby to crawl around a bit. We visited this place once before when it had first opened and the gentleman who served us was very friendly, but we found the ladies on this occasion to be quite rude, even before they realised that we had a baby joining us later on. I love craft beer but will never go back and will stick with the bottle grove which is far more down to earth. I wish this establishment good luck in the future.

Great place with an excellent selection of beers. Friendly and genuine good people. Great decor, and if you’re waiting for a train, you’ve got to visit (if you end up “missing” your train, you’re in good hands)!
