Pianta Del Caffe in Eastbourne

The cafe was mediocre , actually everything was really average. I had a feeling that the cake was a bit stale. The pancakes were good though. The staff were respectful, but not knowledgeable about the items in their menu. The cafe had good vibes. I hope they upgrade their coffee to something more tasty.

A great cafe with inside and outside seating. Perfect for watching the world go by. Very good food with great friendly service. One not to be missed.

Nice atmosphere with really friendly service. The gentleman that served us seemed very enthusiastic and even gave the dog a treat which just adds to his friendliness. Food was pretty good with affordable prices. Would definitely come here again.

This was my 3rd time eating and having coffee here. Brilliant welcome from the owner each time, always happy to chat and cares about his customers. All staff are friendly and happy. The food is amazing, big slice of cake, lovely coffee - perfect taste and temperature. This is my mum's favourite coffee shop now and we have to go in whenever we are in town.

Open 9 till 6pm but closed doors and still serve inside making a noise after 8 30 Sunday thought Sunday had open and closed restrictions bad noisy after hours caffe

The coffe and food is really good, but the customer service is extremely bad. Extremely bad. The owner should do something about it. No wonder the coffe shop is almost empty. I am not coming back there, for sure, not worth to go in and get miserable service, 😕

Got take out sandwiches from there and it was a really hot day and we were given a glass of water each which was a lovely touch

Great place for snacks and coffee

Whilst on holiday last week our family of 4 visited 3 times. Attracted by such a friendly welcome and with excellent coffee and sandwiches. Great value too. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. Prompt service. Excellent milkshake, and no trouble to have it with oat milk. £3.50 and made with ice cream, which was not expected. Equivalent to a McDonald's shake, and very tasty. Waitress even offered to clear our table post finishing, slightly quicker than was necessary but she was polite and we were not rushed out. Staff very attentive to other customers, even accommodating to a request for crispy bacon. 'Even better if', would be for some more interesting salad leaves on the side of the plates. But at the price point it was perfectly fine. It was fresh too, hence only an 'even better if'. Also, possibly have some vegan plant based specials.

The friendliest cafe in Eastbourne! They have lovely staff, a cosy back garden, and a delicious lemon meringue cake -- if you haven't tried it, you're seriously missing out. This place can get busy during busy times because of how good it is, so if you like a more intimate atmosphere, come in the morning or later in the day. The cafe is perfectly located on the main street leading towards the beach, you can't miss it!

Been coming here two years. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Friendly, lovely smooth coffee, good panini/sandwiches served with a smile.

Jacket potato only warm. Was reheated and had disintegrated. Would have been a good rating and value had it been hot in the first place. Upsetting that had to return the meal. No refund offered either.

Fabulous place friendly, welcoming owner and great food, reasonably priced food. I've been here twice now in the last few months and both times have been a great experience, the owner is very funny!

Very nice experience here. Just a stab in the dark kind of visit and knew very little about where was good to go for a coffee and drink. Staff here friendly warm and inviting and tables and cafe clean and presentable. Well ordered one of the chocolate.milkshakrs and a coffee and figured it would be a cheap nasty nesquik shake that is over priced, but it wasn't. Made with ice cream and really enjoyable. Last time I had one like that was in Rhodes and got stung £15 for it.. So was happy this wasn't £15.. Hospitality on leaving was excellent and when next visiting from Brighton will pop in again...

He estado en Pianta del Caffe varias veces a lo largo de los años y siempre he disfrutado de la comida, las bebidas y el servicio amable. Realmente tienes la impresión de que quieren que vuelvas una y otra vez. La decoración interior es moderna, y también hay asientos al aire libre en un patio trasero y en la parte delantera.

Después de sentirnos un poco hambrientos, nos encontramos con este pequeño y encantador café, donde tan pronto como entras por la puerta te saludan con caras sonrientes y un caballero preguntando cómo estás hoy. Nunca habíamos estado aquí antes, así que no estaba seguro de lo que hicimos. ¿Sentarse y tomaron nuestro pedido? Pues ese es el caso.El personal fue muy amable, tomaron nuestras órdenes y, como ex chef, siempre estoy interesado en la preparación y ejecución de órdenes en otros lugares. Debo admitir que estaba extremadamente impresionado. Solo tenían una pequeña área para hacer sándwiches, etc., pero la usaban bien. La higiene fue absolutamente brillante. La eficacia de la rapidez con que esta jovencita preparó la comida y que estaba buenísima y se veía fabulosa también. Definitivamente definitivamente visitaría de nuevo. Gracias por hacernos sentir tan bienvenidos.

Qué brillante cafetería justo en el centro de la ciudad de Eastbourne. . comiendo por la parte delantera vaya adentro o salga por la parte de atrás, todo a cubierto. . fantásticos bocados para comer sándwiches panini tortas, etc. encantadora taza de té servida por brillantes y amables camareros. nada que sea una molestia .

Superb service and coffee. Wouldn't go anywhere else in the town centre.

Lonely place and staff. As a person that never carries cash with it's a big turn off not being able to pay by card. I had to go in the rain to find a cash machine to pay for me and my friend which is not the best of the situations.

Vamos de compras a Eastbourne bastante y siempre tomamos café y café en el centro de Arndale, donde nunca es más que el promedio. Pero hoy encontramos a la Pianta del Caffe y ¡qué descubrimiento! Este es un pequeño y encantador negocio familiar, el dueño estaba allí rodeado de su familia, y el servicio fue maravilloso, algo que lamentablemente falta en el mundo del alboroto de hoy. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida, el propietario explicó muy fácilmente sobre las opciones de pastel y pedimos dos brownies, un capuchino y una moca. Nos dijeron que tomáramos un asiento mientras preparaban las bebidas y todo fue servido por una encantadora camarera, los cafés estaban calientes y bien presentados y el pastel era suave y delicioso. Mi esposa usó el baño y comentó lo limpio que se mantenía. Está claro que el propietario está orgulloso de su negocio y nos dijo que estaba abierto los 365 días del año. ¡No puedes ser mejor que eso! Pagamos en la finalización (un cambio agradable de exigir todo por adelantado) y el propietario estaba feliz de personalizar la visita con información sobre él y su encantadora familia. Comer café y pastel para dos personas rara vez es una experiencia barata como todos sabemos, pero cuando se trata del genuino servicio y la calidad de este lugar, todo vale la pena.¡Pianta Del Caffe está ahora en nuestro radar de "visita obligada"! Y están abiertos hasta las 6 pm, lo que les brinda a todos la oportunidad de visitar después de una tarde de compras.

Mi primera visita aquí hoy y no será la última. Ojalá viviera aquí para poder visitar esta encantadora cafetería más a menudo, pero cada vez que voy a visitar a la familia, sin duda volveré a esta cafetería.

Arriving at the Plants Del Caffe, we were greeted warmly. Staff were so polite and happy to chat . Ordered cheese salad and jacket potato. When these arrived they were fresh and attractively styled. We say outside in a litt!e courtyard garden which was comfortably furnished. We will definitely return again. Delightful!

the best coffee in eastbourne! this is a place that knows a good espresso takes at least a minute to come out of the machine. the crema and aroma is unbeatanle. being a coffe connoisseur i can't guve anything less than 5 stars. jt is really 10 out of 10. your order and preference will alwaysbe remembered. on top of that there us a garden in the back as well as plenty seating in front. Don't miss this place and the fantastic owner running it. support a ocal busiess that really goes above and beyond.

The 1st great coffee that I had in Eastbourne. It will always be my favourite spot. Always coming back just to have a nice chat with Skinner and Artur they always make my day better. Coffee is very nice and the paninis are always tasty specially Artur's paninis.
