Jacket potato only warm. Was reheated and had disintegrated. Would have been a good rating and value had it been hot in the first place. Upsetting that had to return the meal. No refund offered either.

He estado en Pianta del Caffe varias veces a lo largo de los años y siempre he disfrutado de la comida, las bebidas y el servicio amable. Realmente tienes la impresión de que quieren que vuelvas una y otra vez. La decoración interior es moderna, y también hay asientos al aire libre en un patio trasero y en la parte delantera.

Always met with a cheery greeting from the owner and staff who remember our order even though we only visit a few times a year, excellent service and food especially the club sandwich!

Después de sentirnos un poco hambrientos, nos encontramos con este pequeño y encantador café, donde tan pronto como entras por la puerta te saludan con caras sonrientes y un caballero preguntando cómo estás hoy. Nunca habíamos estado aquí antes, así que no estaba seguro de lo que hicimos. ¿Sentarse y tomaron nuestro pedido? Pues ese es el caso.El personal fue muy amable, tomaron nuestras órdenes y, como ex chef, siempre estoy interesado en la preparación y ejecución de órdenes en otros lugares. Debo admitir que estaba extremadamente impresionado. Solo tenían una pequeña área para hacer sándwiches, etc., pero la usaban bien. La higiene fue absolutamente brillante. La eficacia de la rapidez con que esta jovencita preparó la comida y que estaba buenísima y se veía fabulosa también. Definitivamente definitivamente visitaría de nuevo. Gracias por hacernos sentir tan bienvenidos.

Se volete assaporare e gustare un vero caffè non potete non venire qua. Personale gentile e familiare, sarete trattati come a casa vostra. Molto buona e da provare anche la "jackas potatoes" (spero di averlo scritto bene) una loro specialità.. Non rimarrete delusi

Qué brillante cafetería justo en el centro de la ciudad de Eastbourne. . comiendo por la parte delantera vaya adentro o salga por la parte de atrás, todo a cubierto. . fantásticos bocados para comer sándwiches panini tortas, etc. encantadora taza de té servida por brillantes y amables camareros. nada que sea una molestia .

Vamos de compras a Eastbourne bastante y siempre tomamos café y café en el centro de Arndale, donde nunca es más que el promedio. Pero hoy encontramos a la Pianta del Caffe y ¡qué descubrimiento! Este es un pequeño y encantador negocio familiar, el dueño estaba allí rodeado de su familia, y el servicio fue maravilloso, algo que lamentablemente falta en el mundo del alboroto de hoy. Nos dieron una cálida bienvenida, el propietario explicó muy fácilmente sobre las opciones de pastel y pedimos dos brownies, un capuchino y una moca. Nos dijeron que tomáramos un asiento mientras preparaban las bebidas y todo fue servido por una encantadora camarera, los cafés estaban calientes y bien presentados y el pastel era suave y delicioso. Mi esposa usó el baño y comentó lo limpio que se mantenía. Está claro que el propietario está orgulloso de su negocio y nos dijo que estaba abierto los 365 días del año. ¡No puedes ser mejor que eso! Pagamos en la finalización (un cambio agradable de exigir todo por adelantado) y el propietario estaba feliz de personalizar la visita con información sobre él y su encantadora familia. Comer café y pastel para dos personas rara vez es una experiencia barata como todos sabemos, pero cuando se trata del genuino servicio y la calidad de este lugar, todo vale la pena.¡Pianta Del Caffe está ahora en nuestro radar de "visita obligada"! Y están abiertos hasta las 6 pm, lo que les brinda a todos la oportunidad de visitar después de una tarde de compras.

Mi primera visita aquí hoy y no será la última. Ojalá viviera aquí para poder visitar esta encantadora cafetería más a menudo, pero cada vez que voy a visitar a la familia, sin duda volveré a esta cafetería.

Proper little Italian coffee shop with decent food too. Eastbourne has some pretty awful options for lunch in the town centre, this however is a little gem.

Personale molto disponibile, ambiente piccolo, non particolarmente elegante, ma pulito e ordinato. Menù non raffinato ma buono per un pranzo veloce.

Amazing cafe/restaurant. The owner and his wife are amazing kind people. Warm atmosphere and great food. Immaculate hygiene and lovely garden at the back for a coffee in the sun in summertime. An Eastbourne gem!!!

This is a very pleasant coffee shop plus so much more. You can relax over a delightful coffee, or in my case tea, in the very heart of Eastbourne. The staff have a very positive attitude and are very helpful

Lovely Italian run local coffee shop w excellent coffees and hand made sandwiches. Covered outside seating in shopping district w rear covered patio area. Friendly and very helpful staff.

Arriving at the Plants Del Caffe, we were greeted warmly. Staff were so polite and happy to chat . Ordered cheese salad and jacket potato. When these arrived they were fresh and attractively styled. We say outside in a litt!e courtyard garden which was comfortably furnished. We will definitely return again. Delightful!

We stopped off here for a break 6 adults and 2 very young grandaughters, our drinks were excellent and they catered for our very young grandaughters, we will defintely return, we were made very welcome.

During our stay in Eastbourne we called into Pianta Del Caffe for lunch and found it to be a good experience, it's not a large cafe although there is outside seating both at the front and a garden area to the rear which looked quite pleasant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff friendly, polite and helpful. There is a comprehensive list of snacks on the menu at reasonable prices, I had a panini and my husband had a very satisfying bacon sandwich accompanied by a tea and a Latte, all fresh and tasty. Several of the diners appeared to be regulars as the person I assumed to be the owner greeted them like friends, that gives the impression the cafe is somewhere people are happy to revisit and if we lived in Eastbourne I'm sure we would treat it as our local for a coffee and lunchtime snack. All in all a nice place to stop off and recharge whilst shopping.

This a great place to visit for light snacks,breakfasts and cakes.There is a selection of hot and cold drinks,not including alcohol.

This is one of our favourite places fir a snack and coffee in Eastbourne. We now have had several visits and have never been let down. Good friendly service, fabulous coffee and food. Lovely to sit out in the garden in either shade or sun. Keep up the good work. Well done .

Purtroppo l'ho scoperto solo alla fine della mia vacanza a Eastbourne, comunque è stato bello bere un espresso a banco in quei giorni. Un po' di vera Italia ad Eastbourne!

Lived in Eastbourne for years but it was the first time we visited this place. We were not disappointed and were very impressed by the warm friendly service we received. We ate in the back garden which is quite small and very cosy with interesting art work on the walls. It was a hot sunny day and it was nice to sit in the shade and the atmosphere about the whole place was very good. We both had sandwiches which were freshly made and tasted delicious. Will go again and would definitely recommend.

Was there a few weeks ago.The coffee latte was very delicious. Nice service. Nice atmosphere. There is space inside and outside. I prefer outside. No cars just people walking pass. I definitely would recommend to visit this place for nice cup of coffee

It was quite a hot day and the place we had planned to visit was very hot inside so we decided to try here instead and we were so glad we did.

What a super little cafe this is ! We came here last Monday as it was a bit cold and windy and wanted to sit in the sunny garden for some lunch. We were not disappointed. Great service and very friendly staff. My friend and I were so impressed. Lovely sandwiches and coffee. We even paid a visit after our afternoon walk and shopping,. Would definitely pay a visit if we returned. Highly recommended.

We stopped here for hot chocolate and home-made cakes. Service was prompt and very friendly. We tried the lemon drizzle cake, which was very good, fresh and light texture, but not lemony enough for us. The cake selection starting at £2.65 was very good and the glasses of hot chocolate also very good. As it was warm we sat outside. It is very conveniently situated in the centre of the shopping area in Terminus Road.

Dropped in to this ideally located café on a day trip to Eastbourne. We received a super friendly welcome. The coffees and hot chocolate were delicious but the Brie and bacon sandwiches were the best we've ever had. Asked for the bacon to be well done and it was. Good quality bacon with none of the stringy bits you often get. The staff were lovely and the owner took time to chat to us. There were some very tempting home made cakes which, unfortunately, we didn't have room for this visit but we would definitely go back to Pianta del Caffe on our next trip to Eastbourne.

I went here 3 times whilst I was on my holiday in Eastbourne.the staff are very friendly and polite.and the first day went there wanted a jacket potato done a certain way asked if it was possible as going to eat there the following day.the guy had passed the message on and the jacket potato was done just how I wanted it.great place to eat and drink.keep up the great work guys will go there again next time I come to Eastbourne.

Visit this cafe regularly. Always a warm welcome and great service with a smile! The food is always good and the coffee perfect, although the hot chocolate is very good too. You can't go wrong in here, something for everyone and a good atmosphere.

The weather was filthy and non-stop raining so my friend and I popped into here for a bite to eat. Yes, the menu is a bit limited but it's great value and the lovely friendly staff are well worth the visit. I stupidly put too much ground pepper on my panini, so started coughing and immediately, without asking,a waiter ran over with a glass of water to see if I was ok. This café blasts the over-priced trendy chains out of the water! :D

We went there with my friends for a coffee in the garden, the stuff is very polite and helpful and the have the best espresso in Eastbourne!

We entered to a warm 'hello' from everyone. We sat in the garden and had lovely coffee and a light lunch. There was one little mistake, but the waitress apologised and everything was very nice. We would go back here again anytime.

Went there after a day at the beach. They had some sign outside so i guess thats why i went in. They were out of the pancakes i wanted so i got the scone instead, but was disappointed from the taste(it was too bland). I guess I expecting a lot more from a scone in england

Haven't been in for a while but so pleased we revisited last Sunday. Friendly staff, good coffee and tasty food...what else do you need. Oh, I forgot lovely quiet outside garden to sit in. Highly recommended.

The cafe is warm and friendly. The food is basic but done so well. You get little hearts in your coffee froth! It is clean and the staff very polite and agreeable. The prices are reasonable. The toilets were always clean. To sum up a real gem of a place.

The best espresso in Eastbourne. Staff is very friendly and food is pretty much good. In the rear there's a quiet garden where you can enjoy sunny days. I would recommend this place to everyone is searching for a moment of relax or for a great espresso.

Visited this little place every day on my hols. Great place for Lavazza fresh ground , nice and strong served in a big cup (you would pay more in the high street brand boring coffee shops) for the size. My mother had tea where they actually leave the tea bag in for your own strength tea. Not many places do this now. The owner has great customer service and comes round himself to make sure your drink is fine. Even though it will seem like no one is in there when you go through to the back it has an ouside with sun loungers V comfy it will be busy. Lovly seating outdoor on main strip to watch people go by.Basically this is a great coffee place ( good sandwiches or grab a bit of Victoria sponge too) ( it was opp the ST Wilfrids charity shop) it saved my sanity xx

Un caffè sulla strada dei bar, con dolci e altro da mangiare. Niente di particolare, ma grazioso e con caffè bevibile. Giardinetto interno un po' triste.

The foods was lovely. the staff was friendly especially myself and my partner are deaf. I would prefer if they wore gloves when make sandwiches.

Excellent coffee and the most friendly staff in Eastbourne. Well located in the town centre but unlike most of the other coffee shops there's plenty of space so no waiting for a free table. There are seats outside too if you fancy watching the world go by. The food is tasty and arrives quickly. In summary a really good place to take some time out while you're in town.

I always go to this Cafe when I have a break and I want to have a relaxing time alone, the coffee is really good and the staff is really friendly! It's one of the best cafe's I've found so far in Eastbourne!

We visit this café at least once a week for coffee or lunch. The owner is always on hand to greet you and his 2 lady assistants are a delight. The coffee is delicious and very good value as are the sandwiches and paninis etc. Well recommended for a light snack

A day out in Eastbourne is a nice experience for the Pier,walks and bracing air, then lunchtime is upon us visit this PIANTA DEL CAFFE . The owner will welcome you as a friend not as a customer his great attitude is partly why he is making a success of this business. Order your coffee served by his lovely staff. The meals are simple but made with care. Once you have been he will remember you and in our case exactly your preferences brilliant. Nice place to have lunch.

This is an excellent a very good value coffee shop. The owner is always on hand and a delight to deal with. There is indoor and outdoor patio seating. THE COFFEE IS EXCELLENT AND GREAT VALUE

I just poped in for a coffee after a busy day of work. When I came into the cafe I've been warmly welcomed by the owner and the waitress. They offered me different kind of coffees. It was a really big selection. I chose a caramel latte. I took a sit and my latte arrived in 3 miniutes. It looked very delocious, and it was. It was exactly as much hot as I love it. Was so tasty and the best coffe I haver ever had.

Food is always lovely and fresh. Staff are so genuinely kind and lovely. The management take my child's allergies seriously and are very eager to make sure that we all have a great time every time we visit. They work hard to get drinks and food to you as quicly as possible. The garden is just gorgeous in the summer. Can't recommend this cafe more!

I'm local and pop in from time to time for a (very good) coffee and maybe a pastry. The owner and staff are absolutely charming and always give me a genuinely warm greeting. There's seats outside for people watching and an enclosed patio at the rear. It's very clean and highly recommended

A small cafe in central Eastbourne with a good selection of sandwiches, panini and cakes and the friendliest and most cheerful manager(owner?) and staff I've come across in a along time. Small outside area in the back is well sited and the overall cafe experience is extremely good.

We only stopped for a coffee, but we ended up staying for lunch! The staff were utterly charming, so welcoming and friendly. We all had panini's and they were delicious, generously filled and small salad on the side. Simply could not have asked for more.

Went to this cafe almost by accident. The staff were so friendly. At different points we were served by 3 people and they were all lovely. The food is simple and affordable but it was the service which will make me go back again.

I've been here a few times with my two young children and will continue to. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. As well as hot drinks a nice variety of food is offered at reasonable prices. The changing facilities are clean (an important factor to mothers of babies!). It is hard to find places which are accommodating for parents but I always feel welcome here :)

Pianta Del Caffe is deffinitely my favourite place for meeting people for coffee or tasty lunch as well as for relaxing over one of their delicious milkshakes. Its very well located - right in the town center and the staff is allways welcoming and friendy, what else can I wish for? :)

I Came back home from university in Cardiff recently and noticed that this coffee shop had opened up when walking to the beach, I went about a week ago and met some friends for a coffee and i was thoroughly pleased, the staff made us all feel very welcome and for once it was a good quality coffee unlike the bigger branded coffee shops. I Went back two more times over my visit with my little sister and again they where very nice, lovely food as well. Would recommend it to all, its conveniently located between town and the beach as well so that's also a bonus.
