Wonderful lunch, we only popped in for a bowl of soup and a sandwich but it was beautifully cooked presented and more than enough.

We had an excellent meal here! The steak and ale pie was amazing, and I like my steak and ale pies!!! Service was friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere in the pub, lovely oldy world feel!! Definitley will come again, would recommend.

We visited this pub twice whilst we were in the area and both times were not disappointed. We had the meat pie first time which was the best meat filling ever. If you don't have a big appetite there is a smaller piece which we had but was really tasty. The second meal was a jacket potato with chilli and salad and this was a really full and tasty meal. Would recommend this pub for the friendliness of the staff and the lovely meals.

Booked a table for 4 mid-week whilst on holiday in the area. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The pub was busy with diners so obviously popular. Food was very good and the portion sizes were on the large side! Would definitely recommend for an evening meal for good honest and tasty home cooked pub food!

The food was outstanding and the staff and locals were very friendly. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
