Estaba de compras en Next con mi esposa y mi hijo de 10 años. Mi hijo no es de los que andan por ahí mirando muebles e iluminación, así que se fue a otra parte de la tienda para sentarse y usar su teléfono. Cuando finalmente lo encontré de nuevo, estaba sentado solo sin nadie a su alrededor en la Costa dentro de Next. Él no tenía dinero y estaba en su pequeño mundo, así que decidí preguntarle a uno de los empleados si no les importaría darle un chocolate caliente mientras estaba allí. Una señora llamada Georgia acababa de terminar de limpiar mesas y mantener la exhibición de comida, donde gané su atención. Le pregunté si sería tan amable de conseguirle a mi hijo un chocolate caliente y dárselo, pero permítame pagarlo a mi regreso. También le dije a Georgia el nombre de mis hijos, y le pregunté si podía entregárselo, diciendo su nombre mientras lo hacía. 3 Me alegré tanto de ver la magia y el asombro que se desplegaban, pues estaba claramente sorprendido e incrédulo de que le hubieran dado una bebida aparentemente gratis. ¡Y con el miembro del personal sabiendo su nombre! Absolutamente brillante. Gracias Georgia por ser un buen deporte y alegrarle el día. Le encantaba, y no ha dejado de hablar de ello en toda la noche. Volví con mi esposa poco después de tomar más bebidas, pagando el chocolate caliente con mi pedido. Pero la acción estaba hecha y escondí a un hijo muy feliz por el resto del día. Gracias por alegrarle el día. 😊 marvellous .

Consistently lovely food, reasonably priced, super friendly staff, always make you feel very welcome. Go in every fortnight, they remember my order!

El café estaba bien, pero la visita fue arruinada por un perro en una larga pista atado a una mesa bastante cerca de la puerta, que estaba olfateando a los clientes a medida que llegaban. Después de que nos sentamos, el perro comenzó a ladrar muy fuerte y al dueño no parecía importarle... mi hijo que tiene dificultades de aprendizaje estaba muy ansioso... terminamos teniendo que irnos.

The food is usually beautiful and have been here many times before but today I was very disappointed with the service and the food. I ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 cakes, same as always, but this time noticed something being added to my sandwich. I asked what she’d added to be abruptly told, “Pepper. Why?” I said I was just asking, to which I was told, “if you don’t want something adding, you need to tell me or I just do my own thing.” How ridiculous, I order what food I want not what I don’t want. Who goes to a cafe and asks, “can I have a sausage sandwich please but no pepper!” Condiments should be added by the consumer to their taste. I gave it a go anyway but the pepper was too overpowering, so I went back and ordered and paid for a second sandwich. Instead of an apology, I was told they always add pepper (which they’ve never done before), and that I need to tell them if I don’t want anything added to my food! Basically I was made to feel at fault for their mistake. Anyway if you go here and don’t want pepper on your sandwich, you need to ask for no pepper, apparently.

This is a small, friendly family run cafe . The standard of cleanliness is good. They are very obliging, flexible and helpful.There is a good choice of lunches and snacks at very reasonable prices. The food was well cooked and delicious. The locals love it, and rightly so!

We tried the carvery at the Cricket Club after googling around for a decent carvery in the Catterick area. When we arrived the whole setup was very reminiscent of a school dinner. All the meat was already pre-carved, so that the whole thing works as a one big conveyer belt. The quality however is very average and most of the ingredients are clearly made from frozen. I’d recommend a Toby carvery over this. But it was edible.

Came here for cocktails but thought they were very average for the price I paid not many tables inside more outside. Friendly staff.

Friendly and helpful staff, very knowledgeable about allergies and dietary requirements. Short queues and speedy service.

Not a bad spot for a drink but a bit noisy and crowded.

Coffee is over priced - duty free prices, service OK, can't use the Starbucks loyalty card either. Wife had 'standard' tea (got given earl gray by mistake initially). She was not impressed with the taste either. Will stick to Costa

A bald gentlemen who I can only assume is the owner was very rude. As I arrived at 11:57 he informed me he want open until 12 and wouldn’t allow myself or my 90 year old grandmother to use his toilet u til he was open. Baring in mind the party of 7 I was with were going to eat here for lunch. He put his hand up in a rude manner to bar my entry saying he wasn’t licensed to allow me in even to use the toilet until 12. Despite his website saying he was open at 11am. No hospitality or manners about him at all.
