The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Micklegate York Yorkshire and The Humber

BEST BREAKFAST EVER! I am gluten free and vegetarian which is really difficult to cater for usually but Partisan absolutely smashed it! I had the most delicious breakfast full of flavour and bought a cake (from a choice of three GF options) on my way out! 😍 they also accommodated our booking for a group of 9 which was ideal!

Good place for a drink and a catch up

Stumbled across this gem as we walking into the city centre from the NCP carpark & our accommodation for the night. Love vinyl so it was appealing from the off set. We had a latte which was really good. They had music playing & it gave the place a great atmosphere. So the next morning we called in for a toastie & that did not let us down. Didn't really look at the large selection of vinyl records as it was starting to fill up & we were pressed for time. If I'm every back in York (I will be) then this will definitely (maybe) bet the place for a coffee & a quick bite.

What a fantastic independent venue. The Reuben was good, the coffee great quality and the staff super friendly. Exactly what British business should be.

Vine aquí durante mi viaje a York y estaba muy impresionado, café maravilloso y deliciosos pasteles! uno de mis lugares favoritos! espero estar de vuelta en mi próximo viaje!

Solo encontramos esta fabulosa cafetería en nuestro último día de lo contrario habríamos estado allí todos los días! El café es el mejor que hemos tomado en mucho tiempo, y los pasteles se veían increíbles. Muy diferente. Compramos 2 preciosos panes de masa madre por £ 3. ¡10 cada uno, lo que a nuestro alrededor probablemente costaría casi cinco centavos cada uno!

Excellent authentic Syrian food and reasonably priced (for central York). Had chicken shawarma and looking forward to lamb shawarma next time. Staff lovely too!

Unfortunately, I didn't get their names but the two guys serving this morning are always lovely - really friendly and polite.

Visitó The Swollen Gambler cerca de la estación de tren con amigos de Oxford y Cambridge que habían venido a York para un día de copas – terminó completamente avergonzado de haberlos traído aquí. Después de cambiar el grifo de cerveza, la pinta que me sirvieron sabía a agua real. Volví para pedir uno nuevo – varias veces – solo para ser completamente ignorado o eliminado por el personal grosero y despectivo. No solo no sirvieron cerveza decente, nunca tuvimos la cerveza que pagamos. Más de £ 6 por una pinta, y ni siquiera recibimos lo que pedimos. Sin disculpas, sin reembolso, sólo ignorancia y actitud. Me encantaría saber los nombres de este personal embarazoso. Absolutamente atroz, no debería permitírsele trabajar en la industria hotelera. Realmente una de las peores experiencias de servicio que he tenido en cualquier lugar. Una cosa es tener una pinta mala, otra es ser tratado como un inconveniente por pedir lo que pagaste. Este lugar es una estafa – mantente bien despejado.

Elección muy limitada de comida caliente, no hay suficientes sillas y mesas, la gente grosera empujando hacia dentro mientras que otros hacían cola. El personal no intervino.
