Lovely experience here as always, good food, good flow of drinks. Our server Olivia was lovely and came over regularly for drink service 💗 Atmosphere was lovely, music was loud enough not too loud like some places. Thank you! 🥰

New Years Eve visit: Miserable staff, bouncers more interested in watching videos on their phones at the door than seeing who was walking in. Place was dirty. Drinks overpriced (even on 241 cocktails) One drink and left. Won’t be back

Cracking venue for sport including racing uk!

I should say, I am not used to, all the new no table service, big pubs. Order everyting including food at the bar or via the app and pay directly, is just not for me. If you find this ok, then these kind of pubs are good at it. Food comes fast and drinks at the bar are served quick. Its not for me.

Stopped by a couple of times. Decent beer list, food was quick. Great place to look over the river or watch some football.

Me and my husband had a festive bottomless brunch, I had a big breakfast and mu husband had the festive pizza which were both delicious *wish I had taken pictures). I have to say, Jodi, our host was the most efficient member of staff I have had wait on me. She was so attentative, she knew exactly what you wanted when you wanted it. She was there before your drink was finished to offer you another. Great service in a lovely location, over looking the river. Jodi, thank you for waiting on us today, you deserve some recognition 👏 . Job well done. Highly recommended.

Reservamos un brunch sin fondo a través de una mesa abierta, nos llamaron el día anterior directamente al lugar para confirmar la reserva para el brunch sin fondo la hora y para 4 personas y nos preguntaron si podíamos tener una cierta mesa, la reserva se verificó y confirmó que intentarían con la mesa (lo justo) apareció para que nos dijeran que la reserva es solo para el almuerzo y no nos ofrecerían brunch sin fondo y para ser honestos no nos dan dos toots, les expliqué que había llamado el día anterior y alguien había confirmado la reserva, pero el personal no le importó menos nos dijo que podemos tener una mesa para el almuerzo normal o no, pero no nos ofrecieron brunch sin fondo, muy mal servicio en mi opinión!

Tenían una gran opción de pizza a base de plantas, estaba deliciosa — ¡Y también todas las bebidas! ¡Una comida y múltiples bebidas, sólo por 33 libras! Fue a tomar un brunch sin fondo, fue servido por Maddie y ella era increíble! Las bebidas estaban fluyendo todo el día y era un servicio muy rápido y amable. Sin duda recomendaría!!!!!

Amazing service. Amazing pub. Just brilliant all round. Went for a bottomless brunch before seeing rocky horror. Amazing service can't fault it. Always asking if we wanted another drink which is what I LOVE to see!! Food was amazing too!

Decent place. Food was alright, nice pizza, kids enjoyed their food. Beer was rather expensive though. Went back later on by myself to watch the football, lots of big screens to watch on.

The food was to be honest, appalling. Two of the people on my table ordered the “tacos”. When they arrived I actually thought it was a joke. It was 2 measly, dry pieces of tortilla with barely a quarter of a chicken nugget thrown on top. There was no sauce, and a pathetic amount of lettuce. Considering that was going to cost £7.50 each, I returned both plates and asked for them to swapped for chicken wings. The attitude I got from 2 members of staff when I asked for this was shocking, and I’m not sure why I had to speak to 2 different members of staff when the first person had agreed to swap it out. By the time the chicken wings came to replace the tacos, everyone else had finished their food. The wings had no sauce and were dry. The sauce came separately about 5 minutes later. I had the loaded fries which were lukewarm, there was a smidgen of chicken on them and the cheese had gone extremely hard on the fries. But because of the attitude I got back when trying to complain about the tacos, I just shut up and ate them. I appreciate you’re not trying to be a Michelin star establishment, but people are paying a significant price for bad quality freezer food.

Great bottomless brunch for a friends birthday. Food was incredible and so were the drinks. We were served by Olivia and Kerry, they were super friendly and we were never without a drink. Can't wait to come back

We went for a bottomless brunch costing £33 each for bottomless drinks and food it was definitely worth the value, we got a pizza each and couldn't finish it but it was absolutely delicious, definitely recommend the bbq pizza and the drinks were very nice with a big range of wine, beers and cocktails. Our server Olivia was amazing she came over regularly to ask if we wanted fresh drinks would definitely recommend for anyone who is going out with friends or even as a couple like us we will definitely back.

Never had food but the service at the bar was good, we sat on the balcony which overlooks the Ouse. Also dog friendly.

Bottomless brunch was excellent. Great that they allow pints of Guinness and lager which kept lads happy. Lovely selection of cocktails. Burgers good too. Jodi was excellent at keeping us topped up with drinks.

They had unfortunately run out of fish so my partner had the pizza. He was not a fan. My grilled chicken was dry. Ok place if you’re after sports on TV.

Jodi = Superstar I’ve done a lot of brunches in my time, but what I know for sure, If I’m in York, I’ll be at the Tank and Paddle. Mighty Meat Pizza is the best you’ll find along with Jodi and her unbeatable attentiveness, not letting me be without a drink in my hand. I WILL BE BACK 💯

Had a great evening here after the Races. Great atmosphere, drinks and food.

This is a large modern pub in the centre of York. A bit understaffed on my visit, but isn't that normally the case these days. My rating of 3 for the service wasn't for the quality of service, but for the quantity. (Amount of staff). It looks like a good pub to watch the sport, with plenty of TVs around and little booths with a TV built in. I didn't try the food, so I can't comment on that. It's got a great river view one side. Three ales on, reasonably well kept.

We come last Wednesday for bottomless brunch for my mums 50th there was 7 of us in total. Our server Murren was absolutely fab! Was constantly on the ball catering to us. Food was brilliant huge portions and very quick. Cocktails were lovely too & gins were great. Very quick service and always asking if would like more drinks. We can’t wait to comeback again!

Gave us a cocktail without alcohol but sorted this out quickly and got what we wanted in the end. Food was alright. 2 for 1 cocktails.

Tale of two halves … the staff were friendly, it has some outside seating overlooking the river spacious inside decent beers etc most importantly dogs allowed … we were unfortunately disappointed with the food we only had salad and garlic bread but whilst it sounded nice in the menu it was that fantastic but that was all we tried we have had a burger there in the past which was ok … so maybe stick the the usual not so healthy food … the healthy type food wasn’t great and the halloumi we order with it was deep fried not what we were expecting but … serves a purpose and a nice staff do go a long way and dog friendly is a strong point

Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of space to relax with great views of the river. Great to see dogs allowed - always adds to the atmosphere. Only negative, we had the avocado salad and it wasn’t really worth what we paid. Limited in size and contents which is a shame as I note someone enjoyed theirs 6 months ago. Anyway, will definitely be back as we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, service and location.

Booked a bottomless brunch. Arrived on time, party of 4. Placed on a small square table and asked if we could have a different table which was empty at the time and booked for a party of two, same times. This was clearly less than acceptable to the waiter. First drinks were orderered after taken after serving people who arrived after us. We were constantly overlooked for subsequent drinks, even though other party’s had multiple drinks ordered and served in the time that we had one drink. We sat for 25 mins and no food order taken. Drinks we were given were dumped on the table, un ceremoniously, every other table had drinks served by staff using a tray and serving whole party at once. There was no customer service. We were made to feel uncomfortable, and clearly not welcomed. The waiter did introduce himself and said he was there to provide a personal service. Still waiting. After 35 mins I asked if we could pay for the drinks we had ordered, minus the pre paid deposit, and informed staff that we were leaving dissatisfied and extremely disappointed with the whole experience. Perhaps customer service training should be a component of staff training. Very poor.

Spot on kerry was mega attentive always at our becks and call for a tipple. Food was decent and atmosphere and music was great.... Toilets had a little bit of a boff smell but overall class value for money food and drink and we'll worth the cash... Would deffo come back

The food is pretty below average, and overpriced. The drinks are listed as a pint, but are not at all. The staff and service is very slow and poor. The only good thing about the place is the view of the river, other than that, I would not recommend or come back again.

Booked for brunch, we were all really looking forward to it as the food and drink menu looked fab. Unfortunately when we arrived, we were told that we could not do the brunch sitting outside and had to be inside. Such a shame as there were lots of empty tables, and people eating and drinking outside, but not allowed to do brunch. We ended up going somewhere else where we could sit outside and enjoy the sun.

First time at bottomless , Jodi made sure she was on the ball at servicing drinks , would recommended and come back.

Lovely chilled out sports bar overlooking the river. Family friendly. Great service, food was good despite some over bronzed garlic bread. We will be back.
