Had breakfast whilst staying at the hotel. Breakfast plentiful- loads to pick from. Was being well stocked and kept clean by hardworking staff. A staff member cleaned down our table and chairs before we sat down.

Aquí en la actualidad buena ubicación, personal muy limpio, amable y servicial. Desayuno incluido, habitación agradable tabla de planchar con secador de pelo impecable y plancha siempre Volvería a 10 minutos a pie de la ciudad caminando lento.

Caro y con poco personal Decidimos quedarnos en Hampton by Hilton York porque pensamos que el precio no era tan malo y que generalmente están limpios y que estaban limpios, así que está bien. Sin embargo, el desayuno fue impactante. La elección era limitada y lo que no se cocinaba demasiado era rancio. La habitación estaba limpia aunque debajo - amueblada, la cama no estaba hecha correctamente y había agujeros en la funda nórdica, las almohadas estaban ridículamente grumosas, obviamente habían sido lavadas demasiadas veces y el papel higiénico se rasgó cuando lo usaste , así que supongo que muy barato. El té era horrible y el vino estaba caliente y nos fuimos temprano, una gran pérdida de dinero en mi opinión. Pero para colmo, estábamos absolutamente disgustados al descubrir que 3 días de estacionamiento nos costaron 52. ! ! Como no tienen su propio aparcamiento, debe caminar hasta el NCP más cercano, que luego el hotel valida, cualquier persona que no haya podido llevar sus maletas lejos definitivamente habría tenido dificultades.

No necesitábamos mucho durante nuestra estadía en el hotel, así que opté por una fuente pequeña para compartir y un ruibarbo y manzana desmenuzada. La fuente era perfecta en tamaño y cantidad, y las porciones para compartir incluían mini pizzas, pequeñas empanadas de macarrones con queso, bolas de papas y hierbas, alitas de pollo con especias. ¡El crumble estaba delicioso, como se anticipó! Una lista de vinos más que adecuada mejoró la experiencia de picar, por lo que nos fuimos muy satisfechos.

My brother and I stayed here on our recent visit to York, the buffet breakfast is great, the staff are lovely and helpful.

Portions were plentiful, and the food was tasty. They have a gluten free pizza with a crust that was so good, I had to ask to make sure they brought me the right one! Steve was friendly and answered my myriad of questions.

Good location, 4 minutes from the train station. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere with polite staff. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Twin room was spacious, clean and quiet. Well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

It was nice and convenient to have the bar with food service in the lobby of the hotel. We ordered snacks to take up to our room with us. The prices were reasonable and although the food seemed to take awhile to prepare, it came out hot and tasty. They prepared a tray for us to take to our room, so very helpful. They even had gluten free dessert options for my friend and she really enjoyed the cake that she ordered. Breakfast was served in the other end of the main lobby area and it was wonderful. There was so many options of both hot and cold. There was everything you could possibly want there. The breakfast was included with our room, so very good value.

The breakfast here was excellent, so much choice, everything you needed. All was cooked to a high standard and spotless too.

Afternoon tea was a let down. Sandwiches were dry and contained little filling. A five year old could of done better

This Hampton has 2 redeeming qualities; it’s proximity to the train station and the room’s bath seems to have been recently renovated. And, the room overall appears clean and well maintained. However, the bathroom faucet was installed incorrectly and when you wash your hands water goes all across the vanity top. In fact, if you only turn the water on to a slow stream the stream doesn’t even fall into the basin. The beds were DREADFUL!!! It was like sleeping on top of a box springs, not a mattress. Comfort of the bed is second only to cleanliness and Hampton fails miserably on the latter. Breakfast was adequate and plentiful even if the tots were dry as hell.

Food choice great and quality superb. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was stylish and chilled.

We visited this lovely tearoom by the Minster several times during our visit to York and the staff were extremely friendly providing a quick service. They always showed you to a table and gave you time to look at the menu before taking your order. Lovely homemade cakes and delicious coffees. Do not miss this lovely tearoom.

We ate in the hotel as we arrived later in the day and decided to use the evening to plan our weekend. We did get caught out by the drink prices, £16 for 2 drinks, however the food was not expensive compared to other hotels. We had a beef-burger and a chicken burger. Both perfectly acceptable and enjoyable.

Had afternoon tea with the family and it was pretty good. Quality, environment and serving time is definitely plus points. Kids loved the place and the other food options too they had. Scones were really nice.

When you stay at this hotel breakfast is included in the price. There is a good choice, fruit, cereals, toast, rolls, pastries and the full English and good coffee.Self service so quick.

Very good hotel. Well positioned. 5 mins walk from station and 5 mins walk to centre York.

The hotel has a nice breakfast spread. The seating is limited. There is also a small bar and restaurant for the evening as well. The staff is very friendly. Menu at dinner is limited.

We found the menu limited and quite costly for what you got but eating area was clean and food was tasty and nicely presented. Ok if like us you were too tired to leave the hotel.

The hotel is very good and what I liked most is cleanness which is usually my main concern..the breakfast is good as well!
