The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Northallerton Central Hambleton Yorkshire and The Humber

I came here with a family group of 6, we came for a late lunch at 2pm and stayed until 6pm! The majority of us had the Sunday roast of pork loin which was pretty much a traditional roast with a few little twists, such as the carrot purée which was delicious. It came with plentiful vegetables, huge Yorkshire pudding and the most amazing red wine gravy-they gave us large jug of extra gravy! My niece ordered a variety of tapas style dishes which she thoroughly enjoyed. We also had the salted caramel tart with clotted cream ice cream. Plenty of wine was ordered and some mocktails which were delicious. Plenty of choice for vegetarians, vegans and those with dietary requirements. The staff were very friendly, service impeccable and we were not rushed or made to feel we were outstaying our welcome which was great as we had come from London to visit family. I would highly recommend this restaurant and am looking forward to my next visit to try some of their tapas. I thought the prices were very good for the quality of the food.

We happened to pass by and saw there was a cafe in this gallery so we came in for a coffee and cake. The cappuccino wasn't brilliant, it was more like a latte with chocolate on top but the homemade amaretto biscuit was super.

My daughter took me for afternoon tea on Saturday for Mother’s Day, the staff were lovely and really helpful and friendly, the afternoon tea was really good we really enjoyed it and it made my Mother’s day, I would definitely recommend this place

On our way to Greggs but passed by here, cheaper sit in and great pleasant waitress service. All round a chance stop but well rewarded.

Called in for lunch, recommend the fish and chips

First time visiting and given a warm, friendly greeting. The food was good, and the wine was quite palatable. We will call in again when we've burned off some calories! The building itself is worth a look, previously a hospital? I may have misheard that bit, blame the wine 🥂

Staff were very polite and helpful. Cannot fault the service. However, the cooked food was lukewarm for both meals and then went cold within minutes due to cold plates. One chicken casserole and the other was pork stroganoff. Obviously we could have asked for it to be reheated but I’m not keen on reheated pork and really it should have been hot to start with; perhaps food thermometers should be kept in the dishes to keep tabs of the temperature. This might have been a one off but disappointing.

Had the roast beef Sunday dinner and can safely say that it was the best beef I’ve had and I’m 62 so I’ve had a few. Excellently complemented with at least 5 delicious vegetables and mashed, roasted and boiled potatoes. Yorkshire pudding and gravy, oh and horseradish sauce. I’m a Yorkshireman so I didn’t flinch at the price. The staff were lovely and friendly too which I think is just as important.

This was only the 2nd time at Costa on the High St. Both times lacking staff, tables not cleared. Dirty trays that look like they haven’t been cleaned in ages. One staff member that doesn’t have a welcoming smile. The fire door at the back of the cafe propped open showing the chaos at the back. Coffee and toast were very nice. Just a shame the staff have no support.

This is a pleasant Nero on North Alperton high street. The decor is pleasant and our coffees were served quickly and very good. Prices are reasonable.

This cafe is under new management and what a transformation its really good the place had been refurbished and the food and drinks are great would highly recommend
