Archer's Jersey Ice Cream Parlour - Northallerton in Hambleton

The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond for any request we had. Nothing was too much effort.

Two portions of fish and chip, a battered sausage and chips, and three small tubs of curry sauce. The fish was lovely but the batter was soggy/greasy so was removed. Chips looked good and about half were, but the other half were too hard , small and bitty to be classed as chips. Curry sauce was thin and bland . The sausage; turned away by the daughter ,was even refused by the dog. Feeling woeful having wasted £27.20 on mediocre fare…… however, Yesterday evening, party of four at Indian restaurant “Spice” which is diagonally opposite. Fantastic food and staff, great welcome and money well spent. £107 to have a great experience , not £27.20 for disappointment and indigestion.

Lovely food, scotch egg starters are amazing. Service fabulous, staff very attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere and good selection of drinks.

Well, the Sunday lunch reviews looked great well what can I say very disappointed, meat was cold and dry and veg cold aswell very disappointed staff were very friendly tho
