The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East Riding of Yorkshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Excellent pub, great beer, and dog friendly fantastic indian upstairs, but we were allowed to eat our indian meal in the bar as we had our dog with us, wonderful friendly staff and a clean and comfortable room

Randomly stopped off at the board inn for some lunch. Homely and quiet atmosphere, reasonably sized menu of food to choose from, all home-cooked pub style meals, lasagne was lovely and chips were also very nice home cooked chips. Steak and ale pie was also very nice although a-bit dry on the inside was still very nice. However i would have appreciated being able to change the peas that come with the pie with some other vegetables that are listed on the menu.

The daughter booked it for Mothers Day & the landlord & staff where very welcoming, never been in here before but its a throw back to a proper traditional style pub which i loved. There was only the Sunday menu on but plenty of dishes to choose from me & the wife had the mixed meats Sunday roast & she said it was the best Sunday dinner she has had so you cannot get better praise than that as we have tried a few but the daughters partner had the fish & chips with mushy peas & the fish hung over the plate because it was that big so all in all it was an excellent meal in a proper traditional pub highly recommended. Been again for this Mothers Day & i think the pub has changed hands but the new landlord & landlady where very polite & welcoming especially when i told him that was a brilliant pint of John Smith bitter great service even though they where extremely busy the waitresses never stopped always there if needed & whats very important checked back after a couple of minutes once our Sunday Dinners where served to see if everything was ok with our meals. The new couple who's took over look like there in the process of trying to sort out the extremely large gardens & land this pub has got which means i'll have keep coming back & maybe sample the everyday menu as well its a hard life but very worthwhile LOL. Hopefully the food will be just as good as there Sunday menu but can definitely recommend this place.

I visited the cafe yesterday and found that the staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a sandwich which was delicious and a large latte coffe which was so good, I had another! I really enjoyed my visit to the cafe and will visit every time I go to Beverley, the helpful staff and the fact that the cafe was clean and tables were cleared straight away, made it very enjoyable.

Microwave bacon and sausage says it all it’s distguisting don’t even get that kind of service in a run down area and they charge top whack

Called for lunch, asked for some vinigar, looked like it was 100 years old with some wild life at the bottom, chaged it for another, no wild life but still very old. Lasagnia was dry, chips were poor, wont be calling again will stick with The Green in Rawcliffe in the futre its 2000 percent better in every way. Radiator in ladies toilets is minging.

Lovely food, welcoming, good atmosphere, helpful staff, excellent service. Will come again soon.

Called for drinks only and enjoyed what we had. The real ale was spot on and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately one of the locals at the bar had to swear loudly during his casual conversation but we did manage to find a spot out of earshot.

Delivery of turkey roast lunch. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much Kim and staff. Not worth cooking when you can get lunch as good as this straight to your door.

We visited the Dog and Duck as we had walked out of the nearby Ferguson Fawsitt pub as we were ignored for 10 minutes. The food was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and well visit again for sure. A lovely pub with super food.

Valentines meal very good value for 3 courses. Suzie was very welcoming especially as we arrived 15 minutes later for our booking. Nothing too much trouble will be recommending this lovely pub to family and friends.

Absolutely terrible sandwiches, and massively over priced £11. For 2 and a pastry. Never again and staff didn't care in the slightest great management not !!!!

Me and my partner went out for tea, Servers didnt seem happy from the moment we walked in made it abit off putting to spend money here, Was pricy had a mixed grill, i didn't really injoy it to be honest everything just tasted the same, and they wasnt alot there didnt look like a ussual mixed grill, was expecting more, i had mixed grill the previous week at another place in town and enjoyed that alot more was hungry a few hours later we had 1 drink each and 1 meal each, 60 pound won't say it's not a nice place, because it really does stand out inside and out

We had a bad experience with our dog in another cafe and found this gem! Absolutely lovely welcome and plenty of space around the tables for our dog to lay, despite being busy. Dog treats available. Best coffees we’d had in a while. We were eating in a pub later so didn’t try the cakes…Gorgeous looking ice cream but not the best weather for it ha ha. A little bit of background music would have given a little more ambiance but that’s being picky…

Its so dull inside makes me feel miserable won't go again
