Just got the worst sausage and bacon sandwich I've ever had from here Stale breadcake dry sausages Awful Cheers

Greeted by extremely rude staff member despite telling me no item I requested I pointed out that there were 2 packs in the window She removed them slapped them down where item usually can be found Whilst looking at the dates on the remaining pack this horror informed me abruptly ‘Already I have them here ‘ Will not ever be returning for any future purchase Cottingham branch

They have taken away the wooden bit where I used to rest my bag I now have to pay 25p for a stupid paper bag that breaks very easily .Bread cakes are nice. Wont buy a sandwich because they got rid of iceberg lettuce now use horrid salad that one day I was someone refilling it was all wet and gone bad put me right off they need to think of customers and not just profit

Wonderful staff, our clients had brought a packup and it was raining they allowed all 10 of us to sit inside and eat. I had a breakfast which was lovely they moved all the tables and they were just lovely; an my workplace had lots of clients in wheelchairs who took over the majority of the shop.

Always a great atmosphere, staff always make the perfect sandwich, and are always very welcoming. The same lunch pretty much every week for 25+ years, and still as good as ever!

Sandwich had being left in fridge all day with fat on the ham far too much cheap margarine very noisy staff are friendly though its not their fault

They've got flies crawling on the food, when I told them about it they shrugged their shoulders like "And?..." I sent an email 3 months ago to complain, still no word.

We were visiting nearby and decided it was coffee time. Probably because it was Monday, Cooplands Secret Garden Cafe seemed to be the only place open. I have used Cooplands many times before for takeaway coffee and food and it was fine. However, not quite sure what was happening here, but the coffee was appalling and like I said, the worse coffee I have ever had, especially as the girl who delivered it to the table had spilt half of it in the saucer. Don't waste your money!

Need faster staff, soooo slow, queued for 20 mins. There were 4 staff, but the sandwich making takes way too long. ☹️☹️☹️☹️

I did not want a sandwich. so ordered a mushroom omelette, if I had know they came in ready just to go in the microwave I would not have ordered one, it was the size of a placemat for a cup, the salad consisted of a few strands of lettuce 1 cherry tomato and 2 slices of cucumber, it is well over priced. when I asked the assistant for skimmed milk for my tea, she was not very nice and said they only have full fat milk, if this cafe can serve Vegan food why not skimmed milk for Diabetics. will not be going again

Lovely Friendly place with Delicious Pastries . The Cheese Straws and Yorkshire Curd Cake are Legend. Tried the New Pizza Straws today Delicious !

I didn't fancy a sandwich or cake for lunch and thought a mushroom omelette would be lovely. It wasn't it tasted dreadful. I spoke to a member of staff who said they came in ready prepared and were just heated up in the microwave. Never again! This café is usually okay for cakes and drinks but I cannot recommend their omelettes

So please we found this gem. The staff are always chatty and friendly and the food is hot and delicious. I recommend the breakfasts, both vegetarian and full English although all the food is good. Now a regular Saturday morning stop for us to chill with the paper / magazine

My husband and I popped in for a full English breakfast and at £4.80 we was astonished!! It was a kids size breakfast on a side plate ! Rubber £1 sausages and tasteless bacon .... apparently there was an option of extras at 79 p each for mushrooms or tomatoes, which the girl on the till failed to tell us ! Disgusting price Hessle rd much better only good thing was polite girl on till a apart from offering us the extras she was lovely

tasteless camembert paninni and salad was pathetic. A few scraps of lettuce leaf and 1/2 a cherry tomatoe. Never ever had tasteless camembert but they managed it. Will not visit again

I came here with a friend for a cuppa and a cake. It was typical Cooplands quality. Lovely and delicious.

Stopped off for lunch& coffee,s nice little cafe was quite busy had a little wait.handy as right in the main road in cottingham.good choice of food & drinks.

Always good for a coffee or lunch whilst shopping in Cottingham, recent visit it was very busy but managed to get a table.

I bit pricey for a cafe in cottingham food ok, service a slow only one person in front of me at the till but had to wait as staff member didn't know where things where, also had to repeat my order several times

Won’t be returning nothing strikingly wrong with the place but for the price the food wasn’t fantastic! Very basic couldn’t complain about the service but what could have been a nice little find left us a little disappointed. Bacon lacks flavour but brownie saved the experience. Coffee options not fantastic.

Stopped off in Cottingham for a bite to eat and discovered this little gem. Clean cafe with friendly staff. Some good choices on the menu all at reasonable prices and portions. The salad accompanying the main courses was crisp, fresh and plentiful. Nice selection of cakes. Worth rembering if in the area again.

Satisfactory breakfast for 6 hungry cyclists. A local chain of cafes so lacking the personal touch but adequate.

Easy to get in with a wheelchair and a place to sit.

I Like it l got freinds who work's different places so nice one thing l Don't like when do cakes for BIRTHDAY something else is not good for my 40th l had 3 layers topping on not that good that all it took 5 year's to come out and saying really sorry so why don't you doing the other's company beforehand nice l Don't like 2 much topping on

Like going here. Food always good and fresh. So handy when shopping and reasonable prices. Sometimes have to wait awhile at lunch time but no big problem.

A great place to pop into for a snack or meal in very pleasant surroundings. The place is always fresh looking and very clean. The food is good value and freshly prepared.

Hier hebben wij een lunch genuttigd. De sandwiches waren goed en lekker. Ook de quiche was goed. Wij hadden bij de koffie vergeten te zeggen black koffiek dus we kregen koffie met melk. Was best goed te drinken.

For a cafe, I was impressed with the quality and price of the breakfasts. For a big cafe chain it can't be knocked

After many previous satisfactory visits was not happy to be served with my all day breakfast served on a small plate with food overflowing the edges to the extent that my hands covered in some sort of sticky liquid from underneath the plate when I picked it up to place back on tray and I had to wipe table with serviette. I paid for extra toast but had to ask for it as it wasn't with initial order. By contrast my partner had jacket potato with salad garnish which was served on a huge plate.

A nuestra llegada, el aire acondicionado era muy de agradecer en un día bastante soleada. Comida distribuida en neveras parecía magnífico y sabía tan bien como parecía. Tuvimos una muy buena vista de la cocina, donde nos sentamos y me decepcionó mucho que ver lo que suponemos que era un miembro del personal de turno en la cocina preparando su propia ropa en ella la comida. No sólo tenía la hembra no lavada sus manos era comida y comer picoteando en las bañeras de. Entonces ella pasó a ajustar su ropa interior de la parte trasera de su falda. De nuevo, no lavarse las manos y enseguida en las bañeras de comida! Este tiene su calificación seriamente de mí - solucionar cooplands!

Although what we ordered was delicious, it's always nice for staff to smile, I saw them carry trays to tables for elderly people but not one smile between them.

A great place to get all your Yorkshire favourites. Lovely, friendly Ladies serving and very efficient. Good value and always fresh and delicious.
