The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in West Midlands

Very bad experience at Costa Coffee. I visited on Monday morning with a valid app voucher, but the manager refused to honour it. She was rude, unprofessional, and didn’t even try to help or explain. It felt like she just didn’t care. This kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially from a well-known brand. False promises, poor service, and a complete lack of respect for customers. I won’t be coming back, and I’d strongly suggest others think twice before visiting this branch.

Firstly lets say that the owners totally non flexible policies are unusual to say the least. My wife could not have a taste of the wine that was offered by the glass - that was a new one on us as every other pub we've been to for dinner has allowed to see if the wine was acceptable. The menu is limited - my wife had the chicken pie and chips. Clearly pre cooked and frozen. Not dissimilar to what we could get at Aldo but no match for an M&S pie. I had the chicken and ribs platter. As I find pub chicken breast to be generally very dry, I asked for that NOT to be served (no point in wasting it). I suggested that they might throw on a couple of extra onion rings but guess what. NO as the owner does not allow ANY substitutions. No worries. Anyway the meal was very disappointing and breached the trades description act. The menu clearly states a half rack of ribs. A Pig has 14 ribs each side so any mathematician would tell you that half of 14 is 7. There were 5. They were not particularly meaty. The wings were covered in a sauce which was different from the sauce on the ribs so a strange mix of flavours. Popcorn chicken was overcooked and dry. Beer was good, fries were good, service was pleasant but not good enough to makeup for the deficiencies so no, we wont we going back or recommending the place.

We are here today as a family. Have had family meals here many times before including when the pub was under the Hungry Horse brand. Service was exceptional. So friendly, professional and first rate. Great staff throughout. However, the food was very mixed. Seven meals and two starters. Nachos starter ok. Nothing special but ok. Ultimate starter was tasty but small for cost. Seven main meals: steak medium with popcorn sauce good. Gammon very good. 2*double burgers with cheese, bacon a chicken strips, one not bad, one poor and tasted nasty. One portion of chips 50% bigger than the other! Mac Cheese tasted good but very small portion. One chic mix very good, scampi chips and mushy peas, 5 pieces of scampi, one spoon of mushy peas and small chips. Front row f house staff awesome, kitchen staff need to get a grip. Overall disappointing.

Great find as we were exploring on Sunday. A proper, friendly and good pub food at very reasonable pricing. Quality of the meats for the Sunday roast were good. Certainly not using pre packed meat slices other places use. Will definitely come back.

Excellent service and food. Felt very looked after.

When me and my family had a meal here, it was a Friday night. We expected to see people drinking and things like that, we just wanted a meal. It was so loud, the dinner took so long to come that my child felt sick with hunger, by time we finished the kitchen was closed and we were unable to have desserts. Food was somewhat nice but I've had better, overall not impressed.

Amazing breakfast and lovely service. Secluded cafe with views of greenery around. Good place to rewind

Friendly helpful Staff . Store to small . Sitting outside however non smokers will not enjoy the smokers .

Almuerzo del domingo - carne de res ok pero platos fríos, verduras demasiado cocidas y muy grasosas, zanahorias cuerdas, la comida no se parecía en nada a la selección de verduras en las fotos del sitio web ni la presentación de la comida en el sitio web. El entrante de pan era de mala calidad y se servía (sin mantequilla) al mismo tiempo que la comida principal. No se molestó con el postre, se fue inmediatamente y no volvería ni recomendaría. Espantosa experiencia y nada como se esperaba.

Always lovely service and friendly atmosphere when you go in! Always putting lots of great entertainment on, family friendly and feels very safe in here! Would definitely recommend to people looking for somewhere for a quiet drink or for a fun night out on a weekend! Have slowly become a regular in this place and absolutely love it.

Enjoyed a decent pint of proper ale while waiting to get food from the interestingly located Chinese in back room. A novel and great arrangement.
