Have visited the Manor a few times over the years. Always found the food excellent, the cost reasonable and the waiting staff to be very friendly and efficient.

Food was good & value for money , service was good to order but slow to arrive . 49 minutes is too long. Offered discount on drinks . Will try again another day.

Can highly recommend the seabass & my friend enjoyed the pie. All staff were friendly & welcoming & Emily looked after us very well. The complimentary biscuits with the coffee were a nice touch.

The booking process was straightforward. Upon arrival, I received a warm greeting. The food was excellent, particularly the pan-fried chicken. It was easy to redeem our 30% off voucher and we were able to pay the bill in a timely manner.

Served by Cat. She was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. We both had chicken and chorizo kebabs. Very fresh and piping hot! Highly recommend

Linda was our waitress and she was wonderful, so sweet and kind. She reassured us our food is getting plated up without us even saying anything. The food was wonderful, kebab was to die for honestly. Nice and warm inside with the cold weather.

Such amazing food, the Sunday roast was top quality although the pork if im being very picky is a little dry, the gravy and apple sauce soon sorted that issue out. The only other minor inconvenience was trying to get the waiters attention to pay the bill as we were situated in a side room and the back we struggled to get a waiters attention. The ambiance is this place is great, good wide selection of lagers too!

Disappointed at 4.45 on a Sunday afternoon that they had run out of beef (which we both wanted) so the only roast options were turkey, pork, or a trio of meats where you could double up on turkey or pork. The food was OK, but standard chain pub fayre with the same menu offered at several other pubs in the area.

Everything was fantastic. The food, the venue and the staff. A very enjoyable experience.

Lovely place , we are lucky enough to be able to come and eat here sometimes every week and other times every fortnight ranging from different times through the day to evening . The staff are polite and very good at what they do . The food is always lovely, the atmosphere is always great . I would recommend this place to all .

Planned post Christmas get to -gether with good friends. Our table attendant Emily was friendly, courteous and very amenable and very attentive, an absolute pleasure. Very informative with menu and allergy advice. Will most definitely visit fir our bi annual get-together.

We felt this years dinner was not as good as last year. The turkey was very difficult to cut, it was tough. My husband had no choice with his beef so was too rare for him and our sprouts were undercooked. The service was pleasant though.

Very average pub food at above average prices. £18 for fish and chips, served without any real passion. Very deep fried chips, fish that was quite dry and what appeared to be a child's portion of peas. I was hoping for more. I certainly won't be returning or recommending.

My allergies were taken seriously and I enjoyed a delicious vegan roast dinner. The staff were very welcoming upon arrival, along with being helpful and friendly throughout my visit. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely and festive which adds to the cosy Sunday roast vibes.😊 I look forward to another visit in the new year!

Came on “mad Friday” for my partner’s birthday. We were very well accommodated from the point where we made a late amendment to the booming right through to the end of the evening. The food was superb, and Linda’s service was even better. We will be back!

Loved it we had a lovely diner on the 7th the night of the storm+the food and drinks were smashing. Fabulous staff,so we went again for Sunday lunch on the 15th+again it was superb. Cannot fault this place,cannot wait to return. Highly recommend.

Visited for our annual family Christmas meal and we weren’t disappointed. Absolutely lovely food, everyone enjoyed it and couldn’t fault it. The service was also spot on, friendly and attentive, orders were taken swiftly and the food and drinks came quickly. We booked the private dining room and it was lovely to have our own space to properly catch up and we were able to bring the dogs too. All very lovely and highly recommended, we shall definitely book again ❤️

I would describe the portions as mean. However, the main problem was the poorly cooked food! I had The Sea Bass, two tiny pieces of fish, one of which was I would say extremely well done, very little sauce making the dish of green beans, peas and crushed potato exceedingly dry, one of the steaks, requested as well done, was bloody, the peppercorn sauce had already been put on steak, plate taken to kitchen after an extremely long time, meal returned the steak pieces must have been rinsed as the sauce had gone and the steak was still not well done, didn't want to return it to the kitchen again. The waitress did apologise and stated he had tried to cook it again, but it wouldn't cook and she didn't know about steaks. Sorry but a decent chef/cook would have cooked a fresh piece of meat. Just not good,

Lunch time visit for Lady Gillian's birthday. Pizza and fries in the garden. Best pizza in the area. Staff all friendly and helpful A regular Saturday lunchtime visit for us. Drinks and snacks and family chat. Always welcoming and relaxed place. Love the original building, sitting in a bit of history.

I had steak and ale pie the pastry was rock hard asked for more gravy to soften the pastry but did not work very disappointed.

Used a voucher for food 30℅ off mains made it reasonably priced had the steak n ale pie well made gravy was a bit thin but other than that enjoyed it would return

Just a lovely place, in and out, very aesthetically-pleasing and photogenic, and you feel quite posh while there 😂 Waiters/waitresses were gems, couldn't ask for more attentive and thoughtful staff. Food was pretty much top-notch across the board, with a particular shout-out to the Camembert sharing starter -- my god, I don't think I've ever wanted to summon so much bread! I was driving so I didn't have an alcoholic drink, but my girlfriend did and she seemed very satisfied with them so no complaints there. All-in-all, the Manor House is a great place for myself to visit when celebrating or just in the mood for a high-end meal in a fantastic establishment. My compliments to the chef! x

Me and a few friends came here for a cosy relax by the log burners and a catch up. We couldn't have picked a better spot! Will was fantastic and made us feel so welcome with his big grin🥰. Honestly made our night. The food was spectacular, really hit the spot, again, served by Will with a smile, he couldn't have done more for us. Laura the barmaid was great too.

Good atmosphere and pub, friendly staff, however service was slightly slow. Great with allergies too. Menu had a good selection and prices were reasonable. However, temperature was slightly cold, and there was a hair in a pizza we ordered. Yet the server was really apologetic and got a replacement instantly and also offered us to speak to a manager about a reduction of price or a free item. We were served by Linda who was really pleasant and friendly, and dealt with a big group of us really well! Thank you.
