Planned a trip out to this place. Got there and it wasn’t even open even though Google said it should have been. Disappointed. 😔 (Seems I’m supposed to be a mind reader from the reply). Can only leave a review based off what I find, and when we had traveled especially to visit this place and find it shut how else am I meant to review it. 5 stars? 😆

Went in for a cup of coffee and a tea cake we had our coffee after 15 minutes and then we sat there for 25 minutes waiting for our tea cakes .After that we asked where they were to be told we would be next which we weren’t at all .They weren’t that busy for us to wait 40 minutes so we won’t be calling again .

It’s a lovely cosy café. I enjoyed the dish of the day which was a pulled pork and stuffing sandwich with apple sauce, coleslaw, and dressed leaves, and a pot of tea. Cosy atmosphere and great service.

I wish I could give 6 stars, I was in the cafe today and witnessed a customer abuse a young member of staff so badly it reduced her to tears. The owner handled the situation with such grace and professionalism. Not only is your food amazing, it was lovely to see young staff being so well protected. I will definitely be back!! Joy petit-Gittos!!!! I can't agree with you less!!! I used to work for this establishment and know the young lady you abused dreadfully!!! You are lucky I do not work there anymore after hearing how awful you were to the young lady serving you!!! I would have also asked you to leave but not as nicely as the owner. How dare you upset a 17year old girl so much you made her cry. You should be ashamed of yourself as a grown woman!!! If that was my daughter who also works there I would be coming looking for you!!! Women should be empowering young women not nocking them down and making them cry over a bloody latte shame on you

Such a lovely place and great food! The waiting staff were lovely and attentive. Unfortunately we did witness a rather unsavoury customer that was extremely rude to a very young waitress. She was impatient and vile. I felt that the owner/manager dealt with the customer very professionally as I was chomping at the bit myself to tell her how extremely rude she had been. I definitely recommend visiting. The great customer service was the cherry on top of fantastic food!

Lovely surprise we found here, had a lovely lunch and the most amazing cakes...had to share a bakewell as they were huge, so very good size portions and very reasonable prices too, this is definitely our new place to go for lunch in future as the staff are so friendly and made us feel thoroughly welcomed.

Not impressed at all, won't bother going back there again.

I decided to visit this cafe today, ordered my food to be told the manger was in a meeting and shouldn't be long, i waited 20 mins still no show, the young lady who was behind the counter was very good and helpful she asked if we would like a cake which i agreed to but when they arrived they were rock hard, i asked if they could be put in microwave to soften which she did. But unfortunetly it made no difference these cake's were obviously not fresh. I complained to the young lady again and she gave me a full refund. I will not be visiting there again.

Came here again today with hubby and kids, wonderful food very accommodating towards the children and their picky ways, beautiful cakes too, friendly staff lovely atmosphere, would recommend this place and WILL be going again soon

Lovely tuna mayo sandwich and Portuguese tart.

The one vegan option is jacket spud with Beans for £6. Absolutely no other form of vegan option. It's 2021, not 1970. You need to start catering more for those of us that don't want to eat dead animals or contribute to their continued suffering.

Truly exquisite gem of a place and worth a visit whether you are visiting one of the local garden centres or are looking for a meal between Wolverhampton and Bridgnorth. The cakes are made fresh each day, to the point where I watched them make today's delicious looking batch. The Jacket Potatoes are probably the best I have eaten and the Pork Bap is equally excellent. Very friendly staff, excellent food and brilliant value for money. I highly recommend this cafe for both eat in and takeaway. You will NOT be disappointed.

STOPPED TO EAT LOVELY CLEAN PLACE POLITE FRIENDLY STAFF HAD THE ROUNDHOUSE BREAKFAST VERY NICE ,HOT AND SERVED QUICKLY DESPITE US BEING A BIT LATE FOR BREAKFASTS ! NOTHING TOO MUCH TROUBLE AND AN AMAZING ARRAY OF HOME MADE CAKES VERY BIG ONES AT THAT,WE CHOSE THE BAAKEWELLS TO TAKE OUT THEY WERE THE BEST WE HAVE BOTH TASTED DONT LEAVE WITHOUT BUYING A CAKE :) WE WILL RETURN

Visited the roundhouse cafe today, what can i say, i was greeted as soon as I walked through the door by the young ladies behind the counter and the ladies in the kitchen with a smile, I was made to feel very welcome as I picked my seat and decided what to have, it was a very difficult choice with all the stunning cakes and pastries on display that are made fresh on site (I checked and the ladies in the kitchen were baking up a storm) but i eventually settled on the hot pork cob with gravy, stuffing and apple sauce as well as a cheeky rocky road for afters and a coffee to wash it all down, I wasn't disappointed, the pork was beautifully cooked and melted in your mouth as well as very well filled, and the rocky road was to die for, left feeling happy and very, very full!! Very well done ladies, I will defo be back with friends ASAP

Popped in today for coffee and cake and good grief.... amazing! First of all, service was fabulous - really friendly staff and extremely helpful. Coffee was lovely but the most impressive thing was their range of cakes and deserts. Clearly home made and super fresh, good value for money and just delicious! So good I ended up taking home a selection of different cakes and puds for the folks at home. When I unpacked our takeout bag the lovely owner had put a few extra slices in for us! Highly recommended and will be suggesting to all our friends to visit.

First time visiting and couldn’t fault this place! Staff is amazing and definitely made our experience enjoyable 😊 Cakes were delicious and the coffee was way better than Starbucks! Haha Will be coming back for sure

A wonderful cafe on a larger site at the Pavilion Garden Centre, on the Bridgnorth Road. From the moment you walk in you feel at home, polite and helpful staff who have only just returned to work after the COVID lockdown. The place is spotlessly clean, safe and fully Covid compliant. However, more about the reason I went there; for a coffee, a Panini and a cake. All were freshly cooked and served as I hoped for. The coffee hot and creamy, the Panini full of tuna and with a nice side salad and the cake, fresh, fruity and inviting. My wife and myself had a lovely first experience of this lovely little gem. Thank you to all the staff who made our visit so enjoyable.

Staff were polite, friendly and most helpful and we were told that they had only reopened yesterday following COVID. The cafe was spotlessly clean, safe and fully compliant. However, more about the reason we went there; coffee, a toasted sandwich, a panini and cakes. All were freshly prepared and served exactly as we had hoped. The coffee, hot and creamy, the panini and toasty, hot and with plenty of filling and the cakes fresh, fruity and inviting. Susan and myself had a lovely first experience of this lovely little gem. Thank you to all of the staff who made our visit so enjoyable.

£7 breakfast is one sausage one egg one slice bacon, one mushroom beans and toast. Not good value. Regretted going out for brekkie. Cakes do look good though. Not value for money in my opinion.

The staff were pleasant and the ice cream flavours nice however the scoops of ice cream were really stingy compared to others we have had so expensive for the price, wouldn't have them again

Fantastic place, with cakes and other treats to die for, along with a good selection of savoury food, all home made. Great coffee too. I will recommend it to everyone. Staff were really accommodating and friendly. Definitely worth a visit!!

We visit The Roundhouse cafe quite often and the cakes are always delicious and in very, very generous portions, you never leave hungry! I just took my mum for their 'festive afternoon tea' for her birthday and we both loved it, a perfect Christmas alternative. Beautiful fresh turkey bab with gravy and cranberry sauce, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, and a lovely festive pie! We were already a bit full after the savoury food, so we ended up taking some of the cakes home. And the festive lattes we had with chestnut praline syrup served with melted chocolate and whipped cream were gorgeous! My mum ordered my birthday cake from here too in the summer which was a lemon meringue tower and you couldn't fault it. The staff are always really friendly and welcoming and we'll definitely be back soon!

Called in here today by chance. So glad I did warm friendly atmosphere fabulous selection of meals home made cakes and pastries. We chose pork bap with Apple sauce stuffing and gravy just the thing for a cold November day. Marvellous well cooked heart warming food just couldn't finish it as helping so generous. Would highly recommend. Well done ladies we will be back ..

Totally heavenly, the selection of homemade cakes and pastries in such a small space is phenomenal! The staff are friendly and warm and nothing is too much trouble.. We had the most amazing lunch, such great quality and they use hellmans mayo not cheap rubbish.. Nom nom.. The cakes are out of this world! Making this my regular visit now rather than farmer and Friends.. cheaper and much more for your money quality and service!! 10/10 amazing ❤️

we went to the roundhouse yesterday, fantastic little place the tables were all clean contrary to the below reviews, the service was warm and welcoming, ew had two large big breakfasts and coffee we soon followed that with gorgeous homemade cakes to take away they were divine. everything as fresh and cooked to order the sausages were fresh we asked the staff they were from sc edwards butchers up the road in warstones and they were lovely proper pork sausages none of this cheap richmond style you normally get. will definitely be visiting again ,, please do not pay attention to these poor negative reviews on this site the girls do a fantastic job , all praise is well deserved !!

this cafe is the best around , everything is homemade at the cafe ! its quite incredible how they make so much in such a small space , they also hold a 5 rating too which caught our eye upon our visit we brought our whole family and enjoyed the pork baps on offer also huge jacket potatoes with lots of filling. the cakes are INCREDIBLE !!!! will definitely return very soon

I visited here the other day with my daughter. On entering it was very quiet only 2 other tables occupied. We found ourselves a table and when we sat down i noticed that there was no menu, so i took one from the table next to us. The table was also dirty with crumbs all over it. We ordered, my daughter had a cheese toastie and i had a sausage sandwich. My daughters food was ok, but this was the worst sausage sandwich that i have ever had. There was 3 of the smallest sausages that i have ever seen, which were cheap tasting and grisly (disgusting). The bread was also buttered. I never have butter on my sausage sandwiches, so didn't realise that they would put this on. Really expensive for what you get we will not be returning.

Came today not expecting much but boy was I happily surprised clean cafe nice atmosphere wonderful staff couldn't serve you quick enough and nothing was to much hassle for them had pork bap and homemade quiche and salad the pork bap was like a roast in a bap absolutely amazing and quiche was lovely and light the cakes were out of this world its so nice to see so much choice and all homemade too...

Wonderful cafe. Large selection of homemade cakes and pastries , very clean , very good with allergies and understand vegan needs , cater for everyone and massive portions all made fresh to order we were very happy with our visit and the staff are so friendly can’t wait to visit again

We had eaten in Farmer and Friends but spotted this small cafe afterwards. Poked our nose through the window and thought the cakes looked good so asked we could have a takeaway . Decided on a scone and some kind of tiffin tray bake. No price up so gulped at being charged 6.50 for the 2 cakes but paid up. On trying the scone at home it was so disappointing, nothing will convince me that is was made that day as stated - dry and tasteless. And my granddaughter barely ate any of hers. Will not be caught again !

Great scones and my husband enjoyed his coffee. My milkshake was flavoured milk, no shaking involved. My husband wanted a scone but I wanted to leave. There was a loud woman on the phone bellowing at another lady trying to clear up. She was the proprietor but no management or customer service skills. We were trying to place our order over this woman shouting away and some children climbing on the tables.I felt sorry to the young girl on the counter who was struggling to hear us, she was grimacing. Another couple walked away muttering ‘just screaming kids’ but it was the rude unprofessional woman. Probably more aimed at families with many children Sadly good food but couldn’t get away fast enough.

Visited here today for the first time, lovely place, clean and fresh. Staff polite and welcoming, food was so delicious. Would highly recommend a visit.

Wow I have fallen in love , fantastic homemade food all baked from scratch, Great selection of pasties quiches and a great menu too, myself and my little family came on Sunday we had lots of food and even some to takeaway! Very welcoming for families ,little play area and toys inside helps keep little ones entertained! We will be back X

Tried this place with my boyfriend and it’s my new favourite!!! The pork baps were TO DIE FOR- absolutely delish with apple sauce, stuffing, and gravy, they’re amazingly massive so you really get your money’s worth and the lovely waitresses even wrapped the rest up after we were full. Will 100% be returning I wish I could have breakfast, lunch, dinner and especially pudding- can’t wait to go back and try all the gorgeous cakes they had on offer!!!

Visited Doolittle Pet shop earlier today and just took a little walk around the shopping village afterwards. Son felt like a hot drink and we thought we try this cafe. It looked quite friendly and cosy from the outside. Also it displayed a five star hygiene label. After perusing the food on offer we decided to just have a drink, as the food looked stodgy, unappetising and just too homemade ( amateurish). After ordering our hot drinks ( just over £5 for two teas and one coffee) we sat at one of the tables. The table was sticky and dirty. We changed to another table and again it hadn’t been wiped clean. When our drinks arrived, the cups came without saucers and the teabag was still in the cups. Hence the tea was stewed and tasted unpleasant. My son found his coffee undrinkable and left it. Also the coffee was served in a mug?

OMG ordered BLT sarnie and coffee ham sandwich and cuppa tea and chicken salad and water £21.75. After nearly 1/2hr came to our table to say that they had no ham so changed to chicken sarnie. When it came it was on really thick bread and the chicken was hot and mainly shredded and dry. BLT was average and my chicken salad was mainly lettuce leaves and finely chopped pepper and cucumber. NO TOMATOES ( hubby gave me his) the chicken was warm and looked like it had already been cooked and was really dry on the top and whatever it had been reheated in had black bits on and over the salad. We normally go to the Bell @ Shipley pity we didn’t would have only been couple pounds more and a PROPER cooked meal. Really we should have sent it back. NEVER AGAIN.

This is a lovely little place. It makes the best bacon sandwiches, they are like doorstops and the cakes are simply amazing! Very tasty, they may seem a little pricey but they are good value for money. They are large portions and home made so you are paying for quality. It is a quaint and sweet place to pop in for a light bite in a friendly, homely atmosphere. I would strongly recommend you pop in if you are passing by.

Popped in for a snack on 6th May for tea, coffee, slice lemon cake and slice of coffee cake, staff were friendly and helpful and food arrived in reasonable time, tea ok, coffee drinkable but the cake, lemon cake had an unusual taste, another customer sent theirs back and changed for something else, the coffee cake was very dry, the quality is poor considering the price charged, will not be returning.

Stopped by here with my mum and 6 month old daughter a few weeks ago. The cafe is lovely. Small but plenty of tables, clean, good choice of homemade food and cakes but a bit on the pricey side. We had quiche and salad which was £4.95 each - normally for that price it comes with a side of chips or jacket potato maybe. None the less it was delicious! I also had some of the amazing cakes to take away (£13.50 got me just four) but again delicious!

Great selection of sweet and savoury treats in a very small cafe. Certainly worth a visit especially if you're passing by on a trip to Bridgnorth. The cafe has been well decorated and is run by a lovely bunch of staff.

Staff are really poor at communicating which leads to bad service. I’m putting in as much affront into this review as they do in the cafe.

Great breakfast and fantastic cakes

Really liked this little cafe. My partner had a latte which she really enjoyed and i had a can of pop. Nothing too groundbreaking there, but we both had a pork bap which was superb. Meat was incredibly tender and full of flavour and the overall sandwich was great for such a reasonable price too.

So called in here for breakfast this morning as had to go to Doolittles...never again! Ordered one american breakfast with eggs bacon and pancakes and a full english. After a 40 minute wait (there was only one other gentleman in there) said breakfast arrived. Both eggs were burned on my american breakfast and no maple syrup for the pancake to be seen. So i asked for the syrup and also if they could do me another unburned egg (no way would i have sent that out to a customer). So the search for the maple syrup began...none in the place. So im left with dry pancake and burned eggs. Asked for some lemon..realised that just doesnt go with eggs and bacon, cancelled the re done egg and left the lot bar a rasher of bacon. As for the full breakfast...absolutely swimming in mushroom water which we endeavered to mop up with copious amounts of serviettes. Ever had watered down beans? Well i can tell you its awful! Should have stuck to my principals and not gone there after i saw theyd put a huge advertising board outside the rival cafe's door....hmmmm a little unfair and unprofessional i think

We had food here before and was good but on this visit found food to be poor .The pork baps though large were tasteless and my wife left most of hers as unable to chew through it. There is no childrens menu and though explained to person serving would not offer any alternative and subsequently most was wasted.

Went there with my sister, the pastry was rock hard on the cherry bakewell and the cake was like it had been left out in the heat all day and dried up. Two cakes one tea and a latte came to £10. Go next door to farmer and friends better value.

Stopped by yesterday on a whim and had the best sausage rolls ive ever had! The chocolate brownies are also world-class!!! All homemade and fresh baked and absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and it has a nice outdoor sitting area too. A real hidden gem!

We needed food and brew quickly - we found the solution!!! Food and brew was amazing... Staff friendly, the room was nice and bright. Loads of free parking.

Me and my partner came here once before and the experience was ok. So we thought we would give it another go. Absolutely never again the staff are rude! the so called manager stood there barking out orders it took close to 15 mins for them to bring us a cup of tea a cappuccino and a chocolate brownie! The tea came with with chips in the cup! We had to ask on two separate occasions for tea spoons as the tea and cappuccino came without them ( how ridiculous right let me just stir everything with my finger!). I took the cappuccino back as I ordered a carmel cappuccino instead what I received was a luke warm coffee completely watered down nothing like a cappuccino. When I got to the counter the manager had the audacity to say snigger and say that's a cappuccino. I replied well it isn't at all and I ordered a carmel cappuccino there's no carmel in this. She simply said right looked at one of the girls and shouted someone do this again! How bloody rude. The brownie tasted OK but absolutely nothing special you get alot better from the town center. 100% won't return, rude, unorganized and just plain terrible. Also before someone I.e the manager haha pops up saying it was busy. There was 5 people in the whole shop there was more staff then customers!

This is a wonderful place to be the staff are friendly and it is in a wonderful location the place is perfect for all the family. I really recommend this place 😀☺😊

Visited for the first time today had a wonderful mug of tea and fresh baked veggie food. My friend enjoyed cheese and potato pie which looked amazing she wasn't willing to share so I knew it was good. We will be coming back with our children and there kids as you were so accommodating to our dietary needs. Excellent experience. Thankyou.

I came here with my Dad over Easter weekend, we had never visited before and it looked like a great spot for a cup of tea and cake - the cakes on display all looked incredible.

Great Food with generous portions. Well worth the visit. Freindly staff and wheelchair accessible.

Wonderful place, friendly staff, clean, home made, what more could you want and a few toys to entertain the little one. Great value for money and portion size was fantastic. Will definitely come again.

I like this food venue ultra clean and bright with big glass windows. Nice strong tea and a very good selection of cakes and pastry. Not to badly priced and quieter than the other cafe in this shopping village. I would visit again.

Popped in for breakfast with the mrs, I had been here before with my son, who had a very disappointing panini, but I believe in 2nd chances. I decided to have the "American", I really like pancakes, how disappointing that the young girl had to go to the other cafe on site and get them? And then they were crepes(English pancakes). We decided to take some cake away with us as it looks really good, my wife chose a scone, unfortunately you could have used it for dry stone walling, with so many other cafes available in area, ( including one just yards away) I'm afraid we won't be going back

Our second time visit to the Roundhouse, equally enjoyable both times. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they went out of their way to please. Fresh home made cakes and pastries all delicious, our cream teas with scones fresh out of the oven were as good as any we have tasted but very filling.

Decent pork bap. The portions are generous although this can make it difficult to eat. Good value, worth stopping by if you are feeling hungry whilst at the garden centre next door.
