The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a relaxing, local pub atmosphere. I dropped in after a walk in the area and was delighted to find a couple of real ales, crusty thick cut rolls with generous portions , cheese and onion or thick cut ham. Hot sausage rolls were also available along with the usual selection of crisps, nuts, or pork scratchings. No hot meals however. A welcoming traditional pub with nothing fancy..

A basic old pub, offering friendly service, lovely crusty rolls with plenty of thick cheese and onion or ham or pies/pasties at bargain prices. Beautiful setting and a couple of minutes stroll to Arley station which is worth a look around whilst there. Busy with walkers popping by for light refreshment. Happy to recommend and would go back.

We visited The Harbour in Arley twice over the last 3 weeks and the kitchen was closed both times, with only cobs on offer. The first time we were told it was closed as a 'one off' because they thought it would be quiet (during the school holidays with the steam train running!) and the second time she admitted that they didn't have a chef and wouldn't have one for the foreseeable future. The lady at the bar was rude and didn't apologise for the lack of food and not being honest during our first visit. Many walkers were disappointed that food was not available and we will not be returning. Having to pay in cash for anything under £10 also puts you off going as 2 drinks usually cost less.

Good service, prices and quality of food. They are also dog friendly. Good job we had the dog with us to help with the 24oz steak which was on the specials! The staff were friendly and the food was very tasty. I was suprised it was relatively quiet for a main holiday week.

Sunday lunch booked and pre-ordered for 12 covers at 14.30 but food wasn't served until 15.45. Apparently a party of 45 were in and were being served before us. I assume party was late arriving but we were not given a reason other than there were 45 being served hence a 3 star rating for service. The Sunday lunch was good and would recommend, presentation was good too. The atmosphere was good and there was a singer on at 4pm but we missed the beginning while waiting for lunch. Good country pub in great location.

Pleasant looking (from the outside) country pub serving reasonably priced food and drinks in lovely surroundings. Staff were very friendly and the food was ok. The interior's a major let down, having had a lot of its character covered up and looking more like a cheap town pub. The garden is huge with loads is space for kids but is ruined by the noise from the kitchen extractor. Unfortunately when we visited this time it was too popular, the queue was out of the door and onto the road and the Staropramen was so warm it was almost steaming. With a little thought and a decent make over this place would be fantastic.

8 of us went out for a pre Father’s Day meal, we gave half of our drinks order at the bar and the girl told us to go sit down and they would come take the rest of our drinks order. The pub wasn’t busy, 15mins later they had clearly forgotten about us so we went back to the bar to order. We got there at 630, 715 they finally came and took our order. At this point the empty glasses are stacking up on the table and not once did a member of staff come and remove the glasses, even the girls who delivered the drinks left with an empty tray, never bothered to fill the tray with empties. Food eventually arrives an hour later, once glasses where moved she could then put the food down and then the fish and scampi was clearly over cooked, more crispy batter than actual fish. The service is awful, they could do so much with that pub and yet who ever is running it or owns it doesn’t realise the staff are very lazy. You need better staff because that pub could be a gold mine. One member of staff was too busy sat at a table doing nothing but taking selfies of herself. Put the phone down and make yourself useful. The main bar lady was just miserable, not once did she crack a smile, clearly didn’t want to be there. Definitely not homemade food, all from the freezer. We didn’t dare ask for dessert as that would have probably taken us to midnight due to the service being so slow

Rang 25/3 to book a table for a seven valley rail journey. The lady said no need to book for 2/4/24. We arrived yesterday having booked and spent £96.00 on the rail journey to stop at Arley for lunch we arrived around 1.00pm to be told they weren't doing cooked meals and only had cobs!!! We looked for a seat and then heard that 2 other people had walked in and taken the last cobs!! They only had 4? We had said that we would have them becore these people arrived but they sold them anyway to these other people. This is a complete disgrace and we will never stop there again or patronise this pub. No apology at all for either event. We walked out in disgust and walked to the nearest cafe to spend our money. We were looking forward to a cooked meal, but ended having a sandwich 🥪.

In Arley for the weekend to do some sightseeing and visit SVR. On our first day out and about popped in for a pint and a bite to eat. Sat in the lovely big beer garden with our dog and had a couple of good pints and excellent meals. Steak and ale pie and a lasagne - both excellent, large portions and extremely good value. No room for pudding after. Staff very friendly and service excellent too. I’d be surprised if the food wasn’t home cooked - it certainly tasted like it was. We were so impressed that after a trip on SVR and a few hours in Bridgnorth, we decided we would eat at the Harbour again on our way back to our campsite. Scampi and steak and ale pie this time - again excellent. And a couple of ice creams for our walk home. Different staff on Saturday but again both friendly and efficient. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would definitely go back when next in the area.

Nice setting just a few minutes walk from the river Severn,we visited on a Sunday dinner time with friends and dog. The inn itself has various seating areas inside and a very large beer garden and outside bar(which is cash only). Roast beef dinner was excellent and good value,as was our friends lamb,my wife had a prime burger which was ok but nothing special and overpriced compared to the roast diners. The thing that spoiled it was for some reason a band was playing in the beer garden,so loud that you couldn’t hear each other speaking across the table, even after leaving it could be heard clearly after walking a good 15 minutes away,I feel sorry for the local residents in what is otherwise a quiet country setting,we’d check carefully before going again to see if music was playing before hand. 3 star rating due to music,4 without it.

The beer garden is big and nice to sit in when the weather is good and it's close to the steam train station. What I don't like is the fact that they use plastic for all drinks in the garden - the waste that produces in this day and age - horrendous. If they had better organized service or would take a deposit for glasses they could avoid it. It's just lazy.

Been here a few times now. The food is ok, the staff are sometimes friendly, but the toilets need a makeover, BIG TIME. The tiles are hanging off the wall, the sink is hanging off said tiles, there is an upside down dog bowl holding up a pipe which goes nowhere on the floor, the paint job could have been done by a 10 year old, they’re always freezing cold in there too (not ideal when you’re changing your baby and getting them half naked). This place has got a sister pub in Highley called The Ship. It burnt down over a year ago and still isn’t rebuilt, but before the fire, the Ship was on point. A few pointers to be taken from the Ship to the Harbour to improve a few things.
